CHAPTER 24: A GOOD DEED

Juan looked at the ten centimeters fairy she bought for an assistant; she couldn’t help but wonder just how miraculous everything was. To think that one day she will be looking at a beautiful fairy who was one hundred percent loyal to her and an employee, what more could she ask for?

Juan checked the attributes of the small fairy and saw that the little thing will grow as the farm upgraded and she didn’t need to feed it with anything as it will feed on the crops on the farm.

The fairy was easy to raise but she can also do some things for her and maintain that happiness in the relationship.

Juan named the fairy Gem as she was having a thing for gems lately and seeing how hard it was to get them, she didn’t mind daydreaming at all.

“Thank you for saving me and I swear that I will do my best to work for you,” Gem swore solemnly and Juan who didn’t know what Gem was talking about just smiled warmly at the little thing.

At this stage, she was having some doubts about where these things come from but she also knows that knowing too much can be a problem and as someone who was still weak, she decided to mind her own business.

“As long as you do your job properly, I will not let you suffer. I will leave this place to you and you just analyze everything and give me a report later,” Juan was already feeling lazy so she dumped everything on Gem.

Gem who had just received such an important task from her master happily agreed and told herself that this time she was not going to let her master send her away for any reason.

Juan had no idea that Gem had made a serious oath by herself and even if she knows, it wasn’t like she will understand anything by it anyway. After dumping everything to Gem, Juan went to sleep.

The next day she woke up and did her morning routine, as she went to watch the screen and see the progress of the farm, she was shocked by what she saw in the barn.

There were at least eight types of crops in there and the quantity was enough for her to deal with the customers. The farm was also green and mesmerizing, Juan could tell that someone capable was managing the farm.

Even herself when she was managing it, it wasn’t like this before. She didn’t even know how Gem was able to earn that amount of gold in just one night. Just what kind of a fairy did she buy?

“Good morning, Master,” the cheerful voice of Gem rang in the room and Juan looked at Gem with a worshiping gaze.

“You are really my gem!” Juan excitedly spoke as she looked at the little thing that was in the air.

She wanted to hug Gem and give her a few kisses but their relationship was still not to that stage so she decided to cool down.

“I am just doing my job, I am glad that you like it,” Gem shyly spoke but Juan could hear happiness and joy hidden in her tone.

“If I don’t like this then I won’t be human at all. Now before I go out, can you tell me what other things you are capable of?” Juan decided to know more and see what more responsibilities she can give to Gem.

Gem seeing that Juan was satisfied and happy with what she had done, was also at ease and decided to advert herself and earn some brownie points from her Master.

Juan sat there and began to listen to Gem as she spoke about everything and Juan was shocked by what she heard. She realized that she wasn’t well-learned like this little fairy.

Juanita was someone who acknowledges defeat whenever she meets someone better than she and she couldn’t surpass the other. The conversation lasted for like an hour and Juan was happy with everything.

As she was happy, she gave Gem full access to the farm and let her tinker with it as she wanted. Juan was the one with the full power and authority, in the end, so Gem will never try anything funny with her.

After sorting things with Gem, Juan digested what Gem told her as she had her breakfast. To think that there were so many hidden loopholes she could use to make her life easier, Juan was truly an amateur.

It was a good thing that she let Gem deal with all this trouble while she concentrates on other things. After breakfast, she drove her car once more as she wanted to tour the other side of the town, she didn’t go the previous day.

After this day, Juan was going to drive back to Zlila as it was time for her to go back home, and on her way, she was going to mail the packages too. Juan had fun on that day again and the last place she went was the temple.

Juan didn’t believe in anything but that didn’t stop her from visiting temples or churches once in a while. So, seeing a temple and many people going, she decided to go and take a look.

Give some offerings and thank the heavens for giving her this wonderful miracle of a farm. Juan lit the incense and bowed down a couple of times before making her way to where her car was parked.

As she walked there who knew that the lady in front would suddenly sway and was on the verge of falling. Juan was shocked so much that she didn’t even think much and simply rushed forward to hug the woman and stop her from falling.
Juan felt relieved seeing that the woman didn’t fall but was safe in her arms, “thank God nothing happened to you.”

The woman was still in shock, she didn’t think that she will take the wrong step and end up in this crazy situation. If anything had happened to her, how was her family going to react or accept this?

She had sneaked out of the house to come all the way here; she didn’t want to know what would have happened if anything bad had happened to her.

“Thank you, thank you so much for saving me,” the woman shook as she spoke.
Juan hearing that the woman was still sane and okay despite the shaking, was at ease, “you need to be careful when taking these steps. We wouldn’t want anything happening to you.”
