CHAPTER 66: RETURN

Julian had never been under so much pressure in his life but he let the couple do everything as, after this, they will be close as buddies.

Luckily after making promises and vows, the couple hugged him as they agreed and gave him their blessings. When Juan returned everything was back to normal and it was like nothing happened in the house at all.

Juan sensed that something happened in the house but she didn’t ask any questions as everyone was wearing genuine smiles on their faces. The day went well and time was nearing for Juan to return back to Zlila.

Julian also had to return and since Juan could meet her parents daily if she wanted, her parents didn’t stop her.

The next day, Juan and Julian bid Randall and Pearle goodbye and the couple was at ease seeing Juan leaving with Julian. Even though Julian was younger than their daughter, they were confident that he will take great care of their child.

It was the second time that Julian traveled with Juan and he was happy all the way. He managed to convince Juan to take photos with him which he shamelessly posted on his moments.

Juan just let him be as this was sweet and she was enjoying every second of it. When they arrived, Juan ended up going to the Popes’ mansion to spend the holidays with him.

Since Julian spent some time at her home, it wasn’t harmful to her to spend a few days at his place as well. eve was happy to welcome this daughter-in-law who had helped her family in ways no one could ever imagine.

Juan was taken to the room she lived in before and she had no qualms about it. The house will fill with so much happiness and Juanita got to meet more family members.

When she first met John, the first-born child of Eve and James, she was a bit scared of him as the man was a bit cold and his temperament was like one of those male lead in those domineering cold C.E.Os. novels.

She wanted to give a high five to John’s wife as she was capable of taming that kind of a beast. If she were to compare John and Julian, the difference was just so big that Juan sometimes asked herself whether these people were real siblings.

She never got to meet the kids so when she came back this time, she met the kids even though some of the family members were not present. John, Joel, and Jacqueline were not present.

It was unfortunate that she missed John and Jacqueline as the two had work to do. As for Joel, he had accompanied his husband out of the country for a match so he wasn’t in the country.

Juan got to meet John’s wife and she was young and beautiful. She was a housewife despite her young age and she had one child she had when she was just twenty-one. John and his wife got married when the wife Rita was only nineteen, it was love at first sight and no one was able to stop the domineering C.E.O from capturing the young girl.

Janet the second child was at the mansion and she had her two children who were twins with her and her husband was also there with her.

Jack and his fiancée were also at the house and the widow Jacqueline was spending her money like crazy but she was happy.

Everyone was present so the house was filled with so much laughter, warmth, and happiness. After getting to know Juan, the whole family was very welcoming to Juan and Juan spent a great time with the ladies.

Janet wasn’t a talkative woman but more scholarly, she was a professor at Julian’s university so she spent most of her time reading. Juan had to spend her time with Rita who shared her great experiences in how to keep a man with her.

Juan wanted to crawl somewhere where no one will find her but, Joy the widow wouldn’t let her go just like that so she teased her every time she saw her, and Juan became used to it.

The only thing that Eve did was to just watch as they all got along as a family in harmony was something that Eve had always preached about.

Juan also learned more secrets from the siblings which were helpful for her relationship with Julian. She talked with her parents daily and visited them once in a while at night just to check upon them.

Juan didn’t know what to do with this family as she received more gifts and she felt bad as she didn’t have anything to give them. Since she had just come back from her hometown, there was nothing she could bring from there but the family was happy as Juan was there with them.

Julian managed to steal a couple of kisses from time to time and took Juan for some movie dates when she was free in the movie room.

After spending three days at Julian’s house, Juan finally returned to her own house which she had missed a lot. The house was sparkling clean and Juan filled the panty with food.

Juan learned that Julian’s birthday was coming up and the family will be holding a birthday banquet for him. Juan had to find a perfect birthday present and since she was out of ideas, she decided to seek her friends’ advice.

She then remembered that she had seen Lucy yet so she called the other and it was unfortunate that she was still in her hometown and will be going to a photo shoot in a couple of days.

There wasn’t too much time for them to meet so Juan decided to visit Lucy another time. In the end, Juan called Ruby whom she wasn’t sure if she was available seeing how fortunate and famous, she was.

But who knew that Ruby was very free and the girl was so eager to have Juan at her home, and just like that Juan was forced to dress up and drive her sports car to Ruby’s apartment?

The girls happily embraced each other and, in the end, Juan drove to Ruby’s family house to meet Ruby’s family for the first time. Juan didn’t know how this family will react when they see her but she just prayed that they won’t alienate her that much as she wasn’t that tolerant to strangers.

Luckily Ruby’s parents were good to her and of course, she ignored those that showed malicious intentions towards her as they were just too green to influence her.
