CHAPTER 57: I LOVE YOU

So, sensing those emotions from Julian, made Juan want to pamper the young man and show him that she wasn’t going anywhere and she will always be by his side as long as his heart remains true with her.

The trio got onto the plane and Gladys watched with envy as Julian was so attentive to Juan on the way. After spending time with Juan, Gladys could see the love between the two.

She was also afraid that Juan will fall prey to those greedy men but she was glad about how Juan acted. She never gave any face to those men at the shoot. It was as if her eyes were not even seeing them.

She was a focused girl, a girl who knew what she wanted and unlike those other girls she had met who would do anything to climb the ladder and take advantage of others.

She had been wondering who pursued the other one first but after seeing how crazy Julian was over Juan and how he rushed all the way to bring his woman back.

She was wondering as the plane was in the air, how he was going to deal with the people who made things difficult for Juan.


As for the love birds, Julian was busy playing with that smooth hand, measuring secretly her fingers so that he may find the right time to buy a ring and seal the deal.

They had been together for like ten weeks and yet his head was already filled with the future. He wondered if she felt the same as him. He was going to probe later when they arrive, having this kind of conversation on the plane was not a good idea.

When the plane landed, Juan walked side by side with Julian and wasn’t surprised to see the bodyguards waiting for them. Luckily no one knew that she was here so she quickly left the airport and went straight to her apartment.

Because she wasn’t there for long, Juan had to clean up again but she refused Julian to help her. In the end, Julian suggested for them to go to his apartment while someone cleans the place for her.

Juan was curious to see Julian’s apartment so she agreed to let Julian’s people deal with the apartment. She brought along a set of clothes to change after cleaning up.

Juan looked with envy seeing the location where this apartment was, it was a high-end area where apartments prices were over a million. It was very different being born in a rich family. One day, one day she was going to make it big and stop being envious of other people.

After taking the elevator to the top floor, Juan could only enjoy the luxury that came by dating a rich man.

“Your place is good Julian,” she sincerely praised as she took a tour in the three-bedroom apartment.

Julian was happy seeing that Juan liked the place, he had never brought a girl before to his apartment except for his friends. Among his friends, there was a girl so he didn’t consider her when he said, ‘he never brought a girl.’

“I am glad that you like it, if you like you can move in with me,” Julian lowered his voice as he made that suggestion but Juan who was a changed person obviously heard it and her mouth twitched.

She looked at the young man with inquisitive eyes, “we just started dating darling and it is not wise for me to move in. what if one day you realize that I am not the one in your heart and you were just swayed for the moment?”

Julian couldn’t believe his ears and what he was hearing. He looked coldly at Juan who was standing looking out the window without even facing him. How can she think like that? Didn’t she see that his heart was set on her and that he was serious about her?

Why was she still doubting him after everything he had done?

“Babe, look at me,” he gritted his teeth as he walked towards her.

Juan took a few seconds before she turned around to face the angry bird. He looked very cute and Juan wanted to have a piece of him. Juan knew that her words hurt but she couldn’t help herself but blurt them out.

She just wanted to make sure that Julian wasn’t with her because of her looks or his mother, it was very easy to get swayed and influenced and she didn’t want to be the one suffering in the end.

Juan knew one thing for sure and it was that she was in love with Julian and she didn’t mind spending the rest of her life with him even though she wasn’t sure how long Julian will live since she will be living a bit longer than that.

Juan was working hard to make sure that in the future she will be able to keep her beloved ones by her side so she wasn’t scared about living alone for eternity. She wanted to make sure that Julian was the one and that she could share her secrets with him.

She didn’t look at him as a student but as her lover and partner and she hoped that he felt the same for her.

“I need to know Julian; I have been hurt before and I don’t want to go through that again. Of course, I am no longer a fool like I was before but I want to hear from the horse’s mouth what you really feel and where this relationship of ours is going,” Juan wasn’t joking when she poured her heart to Julian.

Julian’s anger subsided a bit when he listened to Juan’s complaints. Weren’t they the same? They were hurt by love in the past and being together can be considered compensation and cherishing this beautiful love was something that he was going to do with everything he has.

Julian walked up to Juan and he held her small hands in his, his eyes were filled with so much love that it affected Juan who was looking at Julian waiting for her answer.

“Babe, I understand what you went through in the past. I know that words will not prove much about my love for you but I want you to know that I love you and I will always do. Since we are talking about this, I guess it is time for me to confess something and I hope that you will stay by my side and not leave me for it.”
