CHAPTER 73: SCHOOL

No one complained when Julian moved into Juan’s villa as it was the same for them anyway. Eve was even more anxious as it will be better if her son scores and give her a grandson.

That would quickly speed up their marriage and there will be a guarantee that Juan will not leave their child. She was too special and important for them and losing her will take a toll on them.

This was not just her own opinion but James as well. they also participated in cleaning Juan’s name as she was now officially part of their family and having someone bully their family member was something that they didn’t tolerate.

At Juan’s villa, Juan spent most of her time inside the house, checking the garden, looking at the stores, the books, and visiting the farm. She even took Julian to the farm; she didn’t want him to be kept in the dark.

Julian was very proud of Juan and when he found out that the produce there tasted the same as the ones he always ate home, he understood why Juan told him that some secrets he will be told when he is powerful enough.

Schools finally opened and with the first semester of the year starting, Julian didn’t like it at all. He was now in his fourth year and he wished to graduate that fast, that way he can hold a wedding with Juan and spend more time with her.

Juan was happy to see Julian going to school. University was that period where one not only learn a lot of knowledge but make a lot of memories. Hers wasn’t good but she hoped that her fiancé will have it good than her.

So, on the first day of school, Juan decided to send her man to school. Even though the night before the two tumbled in the sheets like madmen, she still woke up earlier than him to prepare him and his friends some healthy packed lunches.

Because Juan rarely goes out, the butler knew that Juan likes preparing her own food. He also knows that the food will be bought at Haven farm which apparently belongs to Juan.

As some things couldn’t be done in public, Juan was forced to buy personally the produce at the farm, instead of taking it out from the dimensional farm. This great news reached Eve’s ears and the woman became prouder of this daughter-in-law.

It was now that they understood the real reasons why Juan was able to give them a lot of produce before. It was because she somehow owns the farm and they wondered how lucky she was to get it.

Of course, after some investigations, they decided to not sneak into it much as many things didn’t add up. As long as she wasn’t bringing any harm to them then all was well.

They even made sure that no one will be able to investigate Juan, so all news was blocked.

Juan cooked rice in the rice cooker while she cooked the chicken and sauce on the stove. After an hour, the food was ready and piping hot. She instructed the housekeeper to serve the rice in the lunches for Julian and his four friends.

They were all rich so she didn’t have anything fancy to give them but once in a while, she can pamper them. Juan met Julian’s friends that time at his birthday banquet and after that, they didn’t.

So, she was just trying to be nice and get along with these kids, after all, they were part of Julian’s childhood and will be with him in the long run too.

When Julian woke up, he was by himself and he grunted sadly. He dragged his tired body to the bathroom to wash up since it was a school day. After dressing up, he went downstairs where he found Juan with an apron around her waist.

With one glance he could tell that she had been cooking and his heart was stolen once again. These past few days he had been enjoying eating her cooked food, even though she wasn’t a professional, her food was eatable and very delicious.

As someone who grew up eating food made by famous chefs, his palate was working just fine but it was different now, the love of his life was cooking for him and even if the food is not nice, to him it will always be nice.

He walked towards her and she turned around with a smile on her face, “you slept well?”

He wrapped her body with his arms and planted a kiss on her forehead, “umm, I did, and you?”

“Just great, the food is ready. Sit down and have some breakfast,” she said as she gently pushed him away.

He wanted to cling to her but he was also hungry. So, with total obedience, he went to the dining room and took a seat. Juan removed the apron and washed her hands before joining Julian.

The housekeeper served the soft porridge with the side dishes for them to eat. Julian looked at Juan with affection, seeing the porridge at the table, he wondered how his mother will react.

He was the stubborn type and always refused to have breakfast in the morning and whenever he had some, he would eat some cereals but now that Juan was by his side, he didn’t need anyone to call him to the dining room as he go there by himself.

After having breakfast, Juan told Julian that she will be dropping him at school today as she had some gifts for his friends. Julian had not been dropped to school by relatives in a very long time, so his feelings were a bit complicated.

“What? You don’t want me to tag along?” she asked him with a not-so-happy scowl and Julian knew that he messed up.

“No babe, it is not like that. You are just so beautiful and I don’t want many guys staring at you,” he complained as he looked at her with a wronged expression.

Juan found this act so funny that she laughed and forgot about teaching Julian a lesson.

“They can only look but can never have me. Prepare yourself, mommy is driving you to school,” she winked at him and stood from the table.

Julian could only smile foolishly, watching as Juan disappeared from the stairs. The butler who had been watching everyone smiled and sent the video over to Eve who had been dying to see the interaction between the two.
