CHAPTER 56: MESSING UP WITH THE WRONG GIRL

Juan swayed her petite body back to the room and her early return shocked the woman who was thinking of ways to leave and bring everyone with her. seeing no scratch on Juan’s body and that cold gaze that brushed past her for a second, she knew that she was doomed.

“It’s a bit late and I am not feeling well. Let’s see each other again in the future,” Juan weakly spoke as she picked up her expensive handbag.

Henry could tell that something was wrong but he didn’t want to alarm anyone or make things difficult for anyone so he smiled and responded, “when the movie premiers, we will definitely meet.”

Juan looked at Gladys and gave her a nod and the two women bid everyone goodnight and goodbye.

As they left the place Gladys looked at Juan with a worried expression, “what happened to you?”

Juan smiled slyly as she looked at Gladys, “some people are just fond of looking for trouble. I wonder who will be having the last laugh between the two of us.”

After saying her piece, she didn’t say another word and walked quietly back to the hotel for a well-needed rest.

Gladys could tell that something had happened but Juan managed to solve it, she felt useless as a manager but she was also relieved knowing that Juan was no pushover and she was capable of fighting her own battles.

When they arrived at the hotel, Juan closed her eyes the second she hit her pillow. She slept beautifully but someone else after hearing the report and seeing the video was on the verge of causing mass destruction.

When she woke up the next day, she had a refreshing shower and she changed into a red pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. She didn’t wear a wig this time but tied her hair into a ponytail. The hair was simply too long despite tying it and Juan was thinking of visiting a salon when she returns and doing something about it.

She was not going to cut it but styling it or plaiting it will be good and reduce her troubles.

When she opened the door while holding her suitcase she didn’t know how to react. Right there in her face was a face she had been missing for over three weeks. To think that his guts were too much and he came all the way here for her, she was touched.

“Are you not going to give your man a hug or a kiss?” he asked teasingly, not even afraid of the other crew members who were already in the corridor waiting to see
the show.

Juan raised her eyebrows and flashed him that, ‘I am going to deal with you later,’ look. Since he was already here and she didn’t have anything to hide, she hugged him and breathed in that masculine and youthful scent that she had taken a liking to recently.

“Did you miss me?” Juan asked coyly as she felt secure in Julian’s arms.

Julian pulled away for a bit and gazed into those black eyes with love visible in his eyes, “I missed you like crazy. Let’s go home.”

Juan looked at Julian with a pampering gaze. She could tell that the young man was angry and acting jealous right now. She also didn’t want to remain here for long so going home with her beloved was the right choice for her right now.

“Sure, let’s go.”

Juan passed the suitcase over to Julian and Gladys followed along. Juan smiled politely at the crew members and didn’t give any introduction. It wasn’t their business and she wasn’t obliged to tell them about everything anyway.

Julian walked proudly side by side with his woman, he was so elated, his thoughts were doing a marathon already. How nice will it be if the whole world knows that this woman was his?

Maybe it was time for him to introduce her to his friends, that way she won’t feel like he is hiding her or something.

On their way, Juan met with Ruby and Lucy and Juan hugged the two girls intimately and bid them goodbye.

“Aren’t you Julian Pope?” Ruby who knew all young masters of Zlila asked with surprise in her voice.

“Yes, I am and you are?” Julian who was recognized by an unknown woman couldn’t help but ask with some distance in his tone.

Ruby who was treated like this, wanted to be angry but when she recalled how this spoiled Julian looked at Juan, she knew that it won’t be wise for her to act unruly.

“I am Ruby, Juan’s best friend,” Ruby decided to give this young man a way and also face Juan.

Juan wanted to laugh at this interaction but decided to let them drive each other crazy.

“Dear, you made some friends?” Julian looked at Juan with questioning eyes.

Juan smiled at her jug of vinegar and replied, “umm, I made good friends while shooting. We will get together sometime in the future.”

“Umm, I will host you another time. We better go or we will miss the flight,” Julian flashed a smile that is not a smile at Ruby and Ruby wanted to pummel the other into the ground.

After messing around for a few minutes, Julian finally managed to take his woman away from the hungry wolves. Did they think that Juan was available and didn’t have anyone with her?

They were just dreaming, this made him so resolute into marking her. He was someone who always knew what he wanted. when he was young, he wasn’t quick enough and it landed him into a pool of regrets but this time, he was going to do everything to make Juan his and make sure that she won’t leave him or be with someone else.

Juan had a smile on her face as she watched Julian’s emotions changing all the time. She didn’t know what the young man was thinking about but his possessiveness over her made her feel loved.

Julian was young and he can date someone his age and yet he chose her who is at most five years older than him. Many men will just use the girls, take everything that they want and when they are done, they will ditch the girls.
