CHAPTER 45: I WANT HER

Days passed by and Juan became an internet celebrity, even her blog had around ten thousand followers. During this time that Juan went viral, she only checked her blog but didn’t post anything on it.

She never thought that people will go that crazy just for beauty but she was touched. She wanted to give her fans or followers something so she decided to shoot a video.

Since her parents were still sleeping even after three days, she didn’t mind playing a little. She flashed back into the farm villa and dressed simply in some blue jeans and a black t-shirt written, ‘MOM, you are my hero!’

She told Gem to help her take a video and that was of her making a simple meal. Juanita wasn’t a chef or the best cooker as her parents cooked her food for most years.

She began to cook when she started living by herself and when she drilled it into her head that she will not be with her parents forever and that she needed to start doing something for her own.

Since it was her first time making a video, Juan wanted the content to be divine even if it was just cooking. She was craving some chips and chicken so she first slaughtered the chicken and cleaned it well.

After that she had Gem start shooting, Juan calmed herself and entered the working mood.

“Hello everybody, I just want to say thank you for following me and your encouraging messages. I don’t have many talents so today I will just cook for you all. I am hungry so decided to shoot this video while cooking. I am not that proficient in cooking so forgive me in advance.”

Juanita had a smile on her face as she introduced herself, of course, she didn’t say her name. She wasn’t crazy enough to do that. What if someone searches for her and causes her trouble?

After making the introduction, she began to cut the chicken into pieces seriously without saying a word. She was just humming to the songs that were playing in the background since she was used to having something playing while she worked.

Juan was s entranced in her cooking that she completely forgot that she was shooting a video. She peeled her potatoes and sliced them into suitable pieces. As the oil was being heated on the high-end stove, for the chicken, the chips maker on the other side was also doing miracles.

Juanita finished all her preparations and the cooking began, she would wipe her sweat away after some minutes as she didn’t want any sweat to drop into her food.

The cooking process ended after more than thirty minutes. Looking at the fried chicken that was crunchy from one glance, Juanita was in the mood to have some food.

She cut some cabbage, grated some carrots, added some cucumbers before adding mayonnaise to the mix to make some salad. She then served her food on a big, round plate with some flowers in the middle.

The reason why she picked it was because it would fit all the food, she wasn’t someone who was concerned much with plating; that was the job for the chefs and people who were interested in food.

When she was done, a smile broke out on her face, and then looked at the camera, “I guess this is it. Thank you for your patience.”

After saying that, the video ended and Juanita began to eat her food merrily with the help of Gem who was drooling when she was cooking. After finishing the plate of chips and chicken, Juanita patted her belly satisfactorily and burped.

Juanita digested her food by taking a walk around the villa as she admires the beautiful flowers that surrounded the whole place. When she was done, she flashed back out of the farm and posted the video on her blog.

She sighed with relief and decided to go and visit the real estate agent to check on that restaurant building she saw.

What Juan didn’t know was that her video was quickly seen and shared once more. So, what if the video was almost an hour-long? They were just drooling looking at the small face that was serious as she cooked.

Many comments were left under the video, people fought and crossed words but the person in question was busy having some tea as she talked with an agent about the building.

Among the people who were concerned about Juan online was a certain director who fell in love with Juanita’s face the very second, he saw her. he was in the middle of casting actors and actresses for the movie he was working on and he was missing a supporting character.

So, when he saw her, he knew that she was the one for the movie but the person in question was hard to find and was like a needle in a haystack. So, seeing her speaking with her mouth that she wasn’t talented and decided to cook, he was so excited.

He also took this time to fully scrutinize her and see for himself if she can make it or he can just make her a flower vase. It is not like there weren’t any flower vases in the industry.

The video was long but he watched it all, surely just like what she said, she wasn’t a great cook but he could see how much effort she put in when she was doing something.

So, what if she was a noob, he was going to find her and cast her for the role. For the sake of the success of his movie, he was going to go out this time.

After watching the video, he immediately called his assistant and gave him stern instructions, “I don’t care what you do or how you are going to do it but get me that fairy. I want her for that role.”

The assistant wasn’t shocked anymore as many directors had been clamoring about wanting to have that face in their productions. Even if the movie was a failure, people will go and watch the movie just to see her face.

Her face and beauty were selling beauty and it will be a regret if they let that opportunity go without exploiting it.
