CHAPTER 40: SHE IS A GODDESS

Julian was filled with hope as he drove his red car back home and when he arrived, his mother was anxiously pacing up and down. She truly likes Juan and wanted the best for her son.

At the same time, she was afraid that the two will not click and all her hard work will be for nothing. She was happy seeing and knowing that Julian took a liking to Juan.

Even though Juan had given her son a chance, she didn’t know how that was going to fare in the future but she desperately wanted it to work.

So, when her son entered the house humming a tune, happiness radiating all over his body, Eve finally felt relieved. She was happy as this showed automatically that her son was succeeding and things were working out just perfectly.

“How did it go?” she asked as soon as she set her eyes on him.

Julian chuckled seeing how anxious his mother was, she had always been like that and it nagged him a lot all the time but now he was happy seeing her that way.

“Everything is going well; don’t you trust your son?”

Eve giggled as she looked at her unreliable son, how many times did she try to get him to date other girls and he flunked everything away? She didn’t blame him a lot as she understood that he was not in any position to be picky. Her son was impotent after all and getting a daughter-in-law was going to be hard.

“I will only trust you when you bring her back to see us and have dinner here. Darling, that girl is an angel and I liked her the very second, I saw her and I knew that she was perfect for you. She is different from other girls so I hope that you will treat her well and win her heart. Also…..it will be for the best if you don’t tell her yet about that problem. We will do our best to find you a doctor and treat you. Just don’t break her heart, okay?” Eve seriously spoke as she looked at her son.

Julian nodded his head seeing how serious his mother was, “I love her mom and I will not treat her bad. I will do my best to keep her by my side and in the meantime, I will not tell her about it.”

Eve flashed a smile at her son, “this is all for your happiness. She is an understanding girl, and I hope that she will understand us if she gets to know about this one day.”

Julian and his mother spoke for a while and made plans on how to fully make Juan his. Julian applauded his mom’s wisdom that when he went to sleep, he was all smiling.

Juan packed everything into her farm villa and another suitcase for a show as she didn’t want to make Julian suspicious after all the young man took her shopping. And if she were to go home without a thing, Julian will start raising some flags.

Juan sent Julian a text before she went to bed. She flashed into the farm space to check up on her cultivation manual and was upset seeing that she still has to wait for forty-eight hours to get it.

The next day she woke up, washed, and changed into a yellow dress that Julian bought for her. The dress fitted her perfectly as if it was designed solely for her.
Juan had never worn such an expensive dress despite having an hourglass type of body. Her scars limited her and she didn’t feel comfortable dressing up beautifully because she was ugly.

But now that she was beautiful and capable of making men and women look at her with idolization, envy, and all sorts of emotions in their eyes, Juan didn’t mind dressing beautifully.

She wore a pair of black wedges as she was still getting used to wearing heels. She had been wearing flats for ages and it takes time to get used to wearing heels again.

She was eating her apple when Julian knocked on the door. She went to open it and hugged the young man. They were together the previous day and Juan didn’t allow the man to hold her hand or anything.

She didn’t want to rush into doing anything but this morning she was happy as she felt very beautiful so she didn’t mind hugging the young man.

Julian who had been hugged and was taking in that unique fragrance of Juan, found her body scent very pleasing and he wanted to bask into it for like forever.
After hugging the young man for thirty seconds, she let go and smiled at him, “I haven’t cooked any breakfast but will eat on the way. We can leave now.”

“Let’s do that then,” he smiled back at her, his whole self-happy with the hug he had just received.

“Oh, before we leave. I have some gifts for you and your mother. I promised your mother some rice before but forgot to give it to her so you can give it to her for me.”

After saying that she disappeared and returned holding a 5kg sack of rice and a 5liters of water on the other hand.

“Let me hold this for you,” Julian volunteered after seeing how Juan was carrying heavy things.

Juan didn’t stand on ceremony and passed the heavy load to him, she followed him holding her suitcase. She locked the door and took the elevator to the underground parking where Julian parked his car.

After putting everything into the car, he drove away as the two chatted happily. As the two were getting to know each other, they just kept on asking each other questions back and forth.

They had breakfast in a fancy restaurant and Julian drove his beautiful goddess to the airport. He helped her with everything and wanted to pluck those men’s eyes who were gawking at her with lust and desire in their eyes.

“I will call you daily and don’t be swayed by others. I love you more than anyone else,” Julian was sulky as he embraced Juan in front of so many people.

“I know and you also don’t let any bees linger around you,” Juan joked with the young man.

“I will keep myself for you, just be at ease.”

The two shared moments of sweetness that drove those around them crazy but those who liked things didn’t forget to take a few videos and photos for use later.
