CHAPTER 47: RETURN

Juanita had a great time with her parents especially when they now looked to be in their late fifties instead of the seventies they looked before. After all this time, the people in the town now knew that the beauty they had been praising is Juanita.

They were shocked but when they saw Pearle and Randall looking younger than before, even though they couldn’t accept it, they now understood that the Keogh was different now.

Juanita also broke the news that she had rented a building for them to cook their food instead of being hit by the sun daily. The money was too much but they accepted it since the contracts had already been signed.

Juanita was supposed to stay for a week but in the end, she ended up staying for ten days and this drove Julian crazy who was dying to see his woman. Another thing was that the water was all gone and as someone who was experiencing becoming a man again, he wanted to be fully healed embrace his woman, and thoroughly love her.

Juanita transferred some money to her parents for the renovations of the restaurant as she was sure that their money wouldn’t be enough to do everything.

Selling food didn’t earn them a lot of money as most of the money was reinvested in buying more stock again. Since she no longer needed to save money for the surgery, Juanita didn’t mind spending a lump sum on the people that she loves.

As for the money to buy her parents a villa, she was going to earn that sometime later when all the business here was done. As for her own house, that was something that was going to even wait for longer.

Finally, the day for departure arrived, she was sad to leave her family but she received numerous texts from some annoying guy who wanted to have a meeting with her.

From the man’s mouth, it seems that he wanted to cast her for a movie. That person wasn’t the only one who came into her mailbox, there were many. And since it wasn’t a hustle for her, she decided to go back and listen to what these people wanted from her.

Juanita was currently in the period of trying things out and she didn’t want to miss out on other opportunities because of her previous experiences.

The Keogh couple could only hug each other as they watched the speed train sped off.


“It’s not like she won’t be coming back, let’s just wait patiently and hope that she will bring back a boyfriend in the future,” Randall sighed as he hugged his wife.

Pearle looked at Randall with tears in her eyes, “I hope so too.”

The couple finally left and headed back home.

As for Juanita, she sat comfortably on the train as she chatted with Julian on the phone. The young man couldn’t wait to see her and she was also anticipating seeing him.

The distance was truly medicine when it comes to relationships. These past few days Juan had been thinking a lot about relationships and it got her reminiscing about the times when she was dating that guy back then in high school.

She started seeing him when she was seventeen and she was head over heels for him. She was willing to do anything to the extent that even after dating for two months she gave him her chastity and became a woman.

Who knew when she was eighteen that tragedy will happen and then the boy who had promised her that he will be with her for eternity dumped her because she was ugly?

The feeling she had for that guy was exactly the same one she was feeling for Julian and it made her scared but after being with her parents, she got enlightened once more.

She was going to open her heart once more and give herself a chance to be happy. She was already an adult, beautiful and she didn’t believe that if her relationship didn’t work out with Julian, she will not find someone who wants her.

The two-hour train journey finally came to an end and she took a flight back to Zlila. That’s when the problem started, Juanita was carefree when she boarded the plane but who knew that there was a fan in the airport who was taking the same plane with her?

In the end, the enthusiastic fan took sneak photos of Juan and posted them on her own blog. Soon the posts were shared and everyone knew that Juanita was on her way to Zlila.

Juanita had no idea about this as she slept peacefully in the plane until it landed. Since Julian was already waiting for her, she was at ease. She couldn’t wait to see this young man who had been showering her with so much care in the past two weeks.

Juanita was on the phone talking to Julian when she heard someone screaming her name. this shocked her immediately that her phone landed on the ground, breaking the screen.

She wanted to cuss someone but had to paste a smile on her face as the young girl apologetically looked at her, remorse shown all over her face as she stood like a primary student who had just done something wrong.

“I am sorry, I didn’t mean to do that,” the young girl was about to cry as she apologized.

Who knew that she would react that excessively when she saw her idol?

“It’s okay, I will fix it later,” Juan tried her best to be magnanimous.

The young girl felt better but now she was shy to ask her idol what she wanted.

“Let’s take a photo, someone is waiting for me,” Juan suggested and the little girl was ecstatic.

As Juan was standing there with the girl, so many people were already surrounding them and Juan was thinking of how to escape from all this fiasco.

“I will take it for you,” a sultry, masculine, and sexy voice spoke making Juan’s heartbeat like crazy.

Her face flushed as she looked towards the direction where her man spoke from. There he was dressed in all black, looking like a Greek god and she wasn’t the only person who was enchanted by this heavenly man.
