CHAPTER 51: BLOOMING BUSINESS

Juanita had a great time at the Pope’s and what she really liked was how they didn’t make things difficult for her and didn’t make her feel inferior.

After spending the day at the Pope’s, Juan was shown around by Julian and for the first time, Juan saw Julian’s bedroom. His room was enormous. Her whole apartment was small and standing in his room made her feel a bit inferior.

Her change of emotions was seen by Julian who wrapped her in a hug and whispered sweet words in her ear that made her blush, “wherever you are is home, so I don’t care where I am as long as you are there with me.”

After hearing those words and the sincerity behind them, Juan was at ease and began to explore the room with vigor. She saw his photos when he was young and the experience was astounding.

She also got to remind her brain that her boyfriend was still in university and for a second, she felt like an old lady but when she looked at her small face in the mirror, she threw the worry out of the window.

Juan at dinner she was even more nervous as she got to meet some of Julian’s siblings. She didn’t think that she will get to meet them so soon and this made her unease.

Because Julian had already told her that in his family there were seven, she was no longer shocked when three of his siblings joined the family for dinner. She got to meet Joel who was married to a famous footballer.

Juan rarely watched soccer or football so she didn’t have an idea as to who this man was but the shocking thing was the fact that Joel was gay and his family accepted that. Her outlook on the family improved further.

The other person she met was Joy who was a widow and from Julian’s mouth, the young woman got married to her husband when she was just a freshman. Joy was beautiful and Juan liked her a lot as the other woman was easygoing and nice to talk to like Eve.

The last person was Jacqueline whom she was a bit familiar with as she saw her on magazine covers. She was shocked to learn that this famous model and celebrity was Julian’s sister.

Meeting these three was quite a shock but she quickly calmed herself down as what they did even shocked her more. Who knew that Jacqueline would ask for a photo and talk enthusiastically to her about the entertainment industry?

Eve who was busy watching the kids speaking was happy and left them to their own devices. Juan didn’t feel bored but felt like she was at home. With the help of Jacqueline, she was able to learn more about the industry and that made things very easy for her.

Before she left the mansion, she exchanged her contact details with the siblings, and around nine, Julian drove Juan back to her apartment. Juan who had a great time at the Popes’ decided to reward her boyfriend and gave the young man a hot and passionate kiss that drove him crazy.

When she watched the young man escaping from her apartment, Juan was in a very good mood.

That night Juan resumed her cultivation, she was not an idiot who thinks that after a few days she will be flying on swords. With the pace she was moving, she was aware that it was going to take her a while and probably years before she can be like that but she didn’t mind.

As long as she has time, she was going to dedicate it to her practice. The next day, she flashed out of the farm villa around afternoon when she was feeling hungry after cultivating for long.

She stretched herself and checked her phone for more messages. She didn’t forget to visit her two online shops to see what was going on there.

The auctions were still going on and just like always, the rice was sold out at high prices which brought smiles to her face. The reviews left under the two pages were positive as she ignored the negative ones.

She wasn’t going to drive herself nuts because of people who were jealous of what they couldn’t get. She was very happy with the way things were going that she flashed back into the farm villa to check with Gem how the business was going.

Gem gave her a full report for more than an hour and Juan was happy with it. Even though her farm had not been upgraded yet, her barn was filled with a variety of crops.

Haven was already selling livestock alongside the produce so the income was tempting and good enough for her but it wasn’t enough for her to do things that she wanted.

After understanding the report, Juan set her eyes on the teleportation runes as it was time for her to put them to use. With the help of Gem, Juan was able to set the teleportation circles in the places she marked before when she was in Sparrow.

The one for Sparrow, she set it in her own bedroom so that the traveling will be easy between the two places. She also didn’t tell her parents about it as she wanted to give them a surprise.

After setting the one at the farm she went there. Ever since she bought it she didn’t stop there, so seeing how flourishing the place was, Juan was proud of all the work that had been put there.

The workers were hard working despite being humanoid robots and the manager kept all records that she went through. Being an accountant, Juan understood the figures so it was just a breeze for her when she went through them.

Because she came in an unorthodox way, she didn’t leave the office but looked at the monitor screen to see the customers who had come all the way to buy some fresh produce and livestock.

Seeing for herself how blooming the business was, Juan had this feeling that it won’t be long before her dreams were fulfilled.

When she returned to her apartment, she sent Julian a message first informing him that she will be busy and won’t be available. After that, she flashed back into the villa and began to cultivate seriously. As she was going to join the crew, she didn’t want to fall into any schemes because she was weak to protect herself.
