CHAPTER 61: FAMILY DINNER

The doctors checked Julian and after running their many tests, Julian was found out to be fit and okay. There were no problems with him so everyone was happy.

The Pope’s family was so happy and even their treatment of her even improved more. Since this news couldn’t be hidden from the other siblings, Juan met the rest of the siblings who were so happy about this good news.

Juan and Julian didn’t share the same room but lived separately. There was no way Juan was going to be intimate with Julian under that roof. Juan received many gifts from the family and she reluctantly accepted.

What was even shocking was how she was given a villa in one of the popular complexes. She wasn’t given a chance to reject everything and simply accepted their goodwill.

She even received a sports car that was worth millions, it was the first time she received gifts worth more than twenty million from people who were not her family.

After spending five more days at the mansion, Juan finally left under the reluctance glance of many people but she was someone with a home, and staying at Julian’s house when she was just a girlfriend was not ideal.

Before she left Eve asked her if she could find more fruits and she was willing to buy them at a high price. After using those healing fruits, Juan was now left with three fruits.

She could have given Eve one or two but she didn’t want them to be suspicious of her when she takes out more. People were not fools and stupid especially people from families like Julian’s.

If she manages to take out two, it will be okay but if they are more, then bells will start ringing. In the end, Juan lied with a straight face and told Eve that the person who gave her these two fruits were gone and she had no way to contact the other.

They didn’t know whether she was speaking the truth or not but they let the matter go and prayed that one day when she has some good things, she will always remember them.

Juan drove in her new car and happily gave Julian a drive. Since she wasn’t living at her apartment, the place was supposed to be dirty but with the help of a nanny, the place was sparkling clean.

Julian tried to act spoiled with her but she ruthlessly kicked him out of her apartment as she had important things to do.

It was almost Christmas and Juan wanted to spend this day with her parents but since it was late and she couldn’t take the plane or any other mode of transport, she decided to use her teleportation circle to go home.

She locked her doors and made sure that no one will come in, she didn’t rust Julian at all, that young man may drop in at any second now that he has her keys.
So, Juan activated her teleportation circle and appeared in her room. She looked at the cleanroom and knew that her mother never stopped cleaning it.

She checked the whole house and realized that they were still out so she had ample time to make a meal for them. She flashed into her farm villa and began to prepare the ingredients for a scrumptious dinner.

The house had many lights and a small Christmas tree but it looked very lively. Juan killed a sheep and a turkey and began to prep them. Because she was in the dimensional space, it was easy for a woman like her to sort the meat out.

She began to roast the sheep after applying the condiments to it. As for the turkey, she stuffed it with a lot of vegetables from the farm and roasted it in the oven.

She also cooked a pot of rice which was so fragrant she was tempted to have a bowl while she waited for her parents to return home. She made several salads to go along with the rice.

It was a huge feast and Juan was confident that her parents will definitely love the food when they come. She took out the wine that Joy gave her and decided to have it on a day like this.

It took many hours for her to finish cooking and she changed into a dress to officially welcome her parents’ home.

While waiting for them to come, she visited the farm to see what was going on there and after a while, her parents returned.

When the couple entered the house, they didn’t find anything fishy, they were just sad that they were not able to spend Christmas eve with their child. It wasn’t the same having dinner without her on a day like this.

“Do you think that she is doing well?’ Pearle asked as she made her way to the kitchen to get some water.

“Since we are back home, we should give her a call,” Randall suggested.

“That’s a good idea. Let me drink some water and make a call,” Pearle was happy about that.

When Juan flashed back, she happened to overhear her parents planning to call her and she decided to wait and give them a deadly surprise. She stood there and waited and surely her mother called her. Pearle was anxiously waiting for the phone to ring but when it rang, she nearly jumped out of the sofa.

“Husband, why is there another phone ringing in our house?” Pearle asked with fear in her voice.

“Just sit there and don’t move. I will check and see if there is an intruder inside,” Randall heroically spoke.

He didn’t sense anyone in the house so why would there be a phone in the house. Did someone really break into the house without their knowledge?

Pearle was worried for her husband so she decided to tag along. Juan who was watching this felt teary. How can those two be sweet even at their age? Love like this was something that she wanted.

So, in order to stop them from overreacting, she decided to expose herself and opened the door shocking the hell out of them.

“Baby, how can you just ……..?” Pearle nearly had a heart attack, luckily, she held herself quickly.

“Isn’t this a good surprise?” she giggled as she threw herself into her parents’ arms.
