CHAPTER 80: FUTURE

“Today, I just don’t want to talk about myself, it will seem as if I am bragging a lot but I just want you to keep it in your heart that this life of ours should be cherished. We should be grateful even for the little things as it is things and small ones that count.”

“Never give up on things that you believe in, don’t rush to do things and do your things properly for sometimes we hurry and end up in situations we will not be able to reverse and come back from.”

“I am grateful to my parents for never giving me up even though my mom’s life was in danger. I am here because of them and because of that, I am grateful and I will keep on saying that until the end of time. As children, we should love our parents and be filial. Let us not be embarrassed by these beautiful people who raised us with everything that they have.”

“I know that some parents may be a bit different and difficult to deal with but at the end of the day, they are still ours. Before we can ditch them for whatever good reasons we have, we should at least try to work things out and see if we can live harmony.”

“In conclusion, let’s be grateful, be hardworking, and let’s use the time we spend gossiping and plotting against each other to do something productive. Now that I am done confessing and pouring my heart, do you have anything you guys want to ask me about?”

Juan was feeling much better after all that talking and since she was free, she didn’t mind exchanging a few words with others.

[Fairy, was it very hard for you when you were still ridden with those burnt scars?]

“Of course, it hurt like hell. I was alienated and the same was true for my parents.
My boyfriend even dumped me because I was no longer that pretty girl he dated. I didn’t have many friends but throughout it all, I had one special friend who stuck by my side and I am grateful that she was there for me,” Juan replied with a smile.

Even though Irene befriended her for the wrong reasons, she was there all the way and gave her that strength to keep on living and be confident in herself.
There was no need for her to hate her or talk bad about her.

She picked one question after the other and kept on answering them as patiently as she could.

“I am about to close the Livestream, so I will be picking the last question so have mercy,” she giggled as she skimmed through the questions and comments below.

After a while, she picked one that had been sent many times and decided to satisfy their curiosity.

[Fairy, are the rumors true that you are dating and engaged?]

Juan smiled as she read that question, the question was very sweet and when she saw it, she was reminded of that fine young man who had changed drastically ever since they met.

“Yes, I am currently engaged and he is a young, handsome guy that fell from the sky like mana. We have been together for over half a year and engaged for a while,” she made it short but seeing the love in her eyes they knew that their fairy was taken.

Juan laughed as she read the incoming comments but she was true to her words, “since that question was the last one, let's see each other next time and I hope that you guys can make something for yourselves. Chasing stars is beautiful but always bear in mind that those stars are already banking money into their wallets even when you are cussing at them. So, spend more time to yourselves and make a better future for not just you but your future generations.”

The statement came with a bang and as she was afraid that she may get tempted and keep on indulging them, she quickly switched it off and threw the phone away. She had been online for two hours and she was starving.

Juan was happy and this was visible to everyone. She received a call from Julian who told her sweet words that left her blushing before they hung up on each other.

As Juan was relaxing, she received a call from an unexpected person and in her head, she was like, ‘what trouble is she looking for right now?’

In the end, Juan agreed to meet Irene at the designated place. Juan drove her sports car to the club where Irene was and she smiled politely at the valet who nearly had a heatstroke facing such a beautiful woman.

Juan found the room Irene was in and she smiled genuinely at Irene. Did she hate Irene for her hypocrisy? She did but after thinking about everything again, there was no point for her to do it.

Even though Irene had bad motives to befriend her, she never treated her that badly to the extent that she has trauma about it.

Irene didn’t know what to think, she had been holding this grudge against Juan for a very long time and she vented her anger at Juan which was not a good move. On top of that, she sold those photos to that celebrity to get back at Juan, and still, in the end, Juan didn’t do anything to her.

She felt very bad and it had been eating her for a very long time, it was time for her to let go, find some peace, and move on.

“I can see that life is treating you well,” Irene embarrassingly spoke as Juan took a seat.

“Umm, it can never be good than this. How have you been?”

“It’s just so and so.”

“So, what do you want from me this time? I hope it is not to find trouble, I am not in the mood to do that,” Juan went straight to the point as she was not in the
mood of any drama.

Irene felt hurt hearing that distant tone but she knows that it was her fault that everything was like this.

“I know I am not the person you want to see right now but I am not here to fight. I just want to tell it to your face that I am sorry for everything, my selfishness caused all this and I hurt you. I thought that you will fight back, that way I will find a reason to keep in touch with you but you became a bigger person and just ignored it. It took me ……………………………………………………………………………….”

Juan could only smile faintly as she looked at his unfamiliar Irene, she had this feeling that things were about to get interesting.
