CHAPTER 50: MEETING EVE

Juan signed the contract and was going to receive $200,000 for her appearance, why should she say no to that?

After talking to Richard, she got to know that she will be joining the cast in a week and she didn’t mind. The movie was already being shot so it won’t be nice of her if she delays the crew.

Juanita went home happily and flashed into her farm villa to read through the script fully.

Fantasia was a story about a young woman from another world who transmigrates to a historical era where magic was still in existence. The young woman, Elle, was a lone soul in another world and life wasn’t easy for her.

She didn’t have any golden finger to help her like those transmigrated heroines. She was forced to work hard and this side of her attracted a certain businessman who began to pursue her restlessly.

Elle didn’t want to be involved with someone who was powerful than her or was influential like this man, Harry, so she did her best to reject him but Harry was patient and didn’t stop his pursuit.

At the time that Elle finally agreed to accept the proposal, a villainous character who was just a small character appeared to disrupt this harmony. Her name was Talia and she was a one-hundred-year-old with, she looked so young and beautiful for her age.

She had been living in seclusion for many years until she set her eyes on a certain young scholar who stole her heart. Talia despite being a witch she refused to use her abilities to charm the scholar so she pursued him restlessly and in a good way.

She always believed that one day the scholar will see her sincerity and be with her but who knew that an Elle appeared and her scholar began to put his concentration towards Elle and not her.

Talia didn’t like this at all so she became to use her forgotten abilities to threaten Elle to stay away from her man but Talia who wasn’t as strong as she was years ago was no match to Harry.

Harry wouldn’t let anyone mess with the woman he loves so he did his best to fight against Talia. The young scholar also joined in the war and Talia lost. They failed to kill her but the second the scholar chose Elle’s side; Talia’s heart was broken and she lost all hope.

With nothing to live for since the only man she lived for rejected her and even helped in fighting her that the charm on her weakened and she aged, her beauty was gone, she simply went back into seclusion to never be seen again.

This is how Talia’s character will disappear from the movie and pave way for the main villain to appear who will fight Harry for Elle. Of course, in the end, Harry and Elle will win and be together forever.

As for the young scholar, he will live his life in regret knowing that he lost his chance to be with the one person who loved him and was always there for him from when he was young.

The story was so touching that Juan shed some tears and decided that she was going to act seriously and portray Talia well after all Talia was one hell of a character.

The next day Julian appeared on her door early in the morning and Juan was taken back.

“Why are you here?” she asked with a shocked expression as she wasn’t expecting Julian to be here.

“Umm, darling, I am sorry that I just dropped on you like this but my mom wants to meet you. Do you have any appointment?” he asked nervously as he was aware that he just dropped without a warning.

“Nope, I am free. Let me change and I will join you.”

Since it has been long since she saw Eve, she rummaged through her wardrobe and found a purple dress to put on. When she came out, Julian was composed this time and didn’t have a nosebleed and it wasn’t fun.

Juan was escorted to the car and Julian held her hand as he drove to the mansion. When they arrived, Eve was already waiting outside with a smile on her face.

After not seeing each other for a while, Eve was excited and her actions seemed exaggerated but Juan knew that the woman was just happy. Juan didn’t come empty-handed so she brought along some more rice and produce from her pantry making Eve so happy.

Because she didn’t have any breakfast, Eve had instructed the kitchen to make more. So, Juan for the first time ate breakfast with her boyfriend and future mother-in-law.

After breakfast, Eve began to ask her questions and catch up to her. Juan was happy to share the good news and told the woman that she will be joining the Fantasia crew. Julian had heard about this so it wasn’t a surprise to him anymore.

“Darling, since you will be joining the crew. I will not say more; this is your life so you should live it but never allow anyone to bully you. You are not alone and we will be here to give you a helping hand,” Eve seriously said as she already sees Juan as her daughter-in-law.

Juan felt touched seeing that Eve's love for her had not changed until now, “thank you, I will always remember that.”

The two talked more about the entertainment industry and had their fun talking. Later Eve couldn’t stop herself from asking the question that had been bugging her for a while.

Juan didn’t feel that the question was overboard since she will also be curious about how it all changed, so she made up a huge lie with some bits of truth in it.

“I have been eating the spiritual rice and drinking the spring water for a while. It is ………..”

Eve and Julian were shocked by how miraculous these things were and began to bomb her with questions which she patiently answered. She also advertised Mystic and Haven at the same time.

It seemed like her business was about to bloom and money was about to roll into her account.
