CHAPTER 59: I LOVE YOU 2

The two poured their hearts to each other until they received the news that the apartment was clean. Juan was in a hurry to give her man some fruit, she didn’t want him to fail to act in that department so healing him early will be beneficial to her.

Julian was the one who was more anxious and nervous. He knew that his girl was special and unique, she was even more mysterious as she was able to take out those miraculous products.

If it was someone else, they would have sold them at a higher price instead of just giving them to anyone like that.

In these three weeks that Juan was gone, Julian had been getting better by the day and his mother safeguarded that water like some precious treasure. Every day before he went to sleep, Julian would drink a glass of water and it was working.

Eve was afraid that Juan will not have a lot of this water so she didn’t want the water to be misused. The rice and vegetables were even top-notch, so Julian was now wondering what Juan was going to give him to make him fully healed.

It seems like he will always be in her debt but he was going to repay her and serve her for the rest of their lives.

When they reached the apartment, they were not in the mood to kiss or hug. Juan shoved the young man onto the sofa before she went to the kitchen where she took out a jug of cold water and instructed Gem to give her one of the
remaining fruits.

She brought the jug of water and water glasses back to the living room and Julian’s eyes lit up when he saw the treasured water. at this stage, he had a feeling that Juan somehow drinks this water daily like tap water.

She poured the water for him and he quickly gulped it down and it was finished. Juan poured more water for him with a chuckle loving how he was drinking it.
She had this inkling that Julian knew how special the water was and she was not going to explain herself much as it was troublesome.

“When the water I gave you is finished, you can come and collect some. I can give you at least two buckets weekly and you can give them to your parents. It is good for them,” Juan decided to be the good girl and share the good things with the Popes’.

If she has the protection of the Popes, Juan will be worried less about future troubles whenever they will come.

Julian was happy to hear that as he knew how much his parents loved that water but for his sake, they kept it for him, “thank you so much. I will not let your good intentions down.”

“I am good to hear that and if I am not happy with you, I will just leave you and find someone else,” she spoke in a threatening tone as she meant every single word.

Julian’s gaze was cold for a second before he quickly calmed himself and hugged the woman in his arms, “I will not let you down, trust me.”

“Umm, I know,” she smiled at him and opened her hand which held the familiar fruit that she couldn’t eat anymore, “eat this when you are home. You may be unconscious for like three days but when you wake up, you will all new.”

Hearing that such a small fruit was capable of that, he couldn’t help but give Juan an inquisitive gaze, “are you sure?”

“Umm, I also ate it and I turned out this way. It’s not like I can poison my man,” she snorted as she looked away.

Knowing that he did something wrong, Julian had to spend great effort to coax Juan back and left after an hour of being playful. He couldn’t wait to go and see what this fruit was capable of.

When he reached home, he took his mother to his room for a chat. He didn’t want the servants to hear any of this conversation so hence the room.

“Is there a problem you want to talk about?” Eve was feeling nervous as she was afraid that her son might have messed up again.

Julian chuckled as he enjoyed the worry on her face but he didn’t make her anxious for long, “mom, Juan is a treasure, she…….”

Julian explained to his mother everything that happened and his own suspicions.
Even shed tears of joy as she listened to the good news, “this is good. As long as she is related to us then we should do everything in our power to protect her. So, since she said that the fruit is helpful then go ahead and eat it. We will keep watch and make sure that nothing happens to you during these days.”

He felt at ease after confiding in his mom, this was a serious matter and he didn’t want his parents to worry. After confirming with her, he ate the delicious fruit with vigor and sat on the bed waiting to see the effects.

The more nervous one was Eve who didn’t look away afraid of what may come. She chatted with Julian for like an hour and nothing was happening until suddenly Julian collapsed on the bed and it freaked the hell out of her.

But when she recalled what Julian told her, she tried to calm herself down. She covered her son with some sheets and left after looking at his peaceful face for a while.

The first thing she did when she was out was to call Juan to ask if there is anything she should be wary of. Because she didn’t want Juan to be on her toes because her son was dating Juan, she had not contacted the other a lot but now she had no choice but to make the call.

When Juan heard the worried tone of Eve, she decided to stay at the mansion and keep a lookout. This decision of hers made Eve so excited that she sent a car over.

Juan prepared herself and packed some goodies for the family and had the men who came to pick her up, carry them to the awaiting car. Juan closed her eyes during the drive as she wanted to take some rest.

When she arrived, Eve warmly and happily welcomed her. Juan could feel her great love for her so she was always at ease whenever she comes to this house.

“I am sorry for making you come all the way here, I am just afraid. I hope that you understand,” Eve explained herself as she didn’t want Juan to see her as overbearing.

“That’s what family is for. I brought you some gifts, I know how much you like them,” Juan said as she cleverly changed the topic.
