CHAPTER 44: VIRAL AND ANGER

Juan had no idea that the water had changed her man’s life forever and it even made the Pope’s family love her more. Her main concern was on her parents who were still unconscious and she had no idea when they will wake up.

Her business was doing good and she didn’t forget to post more selfies of herself on her blog. Since she had not been in town for long, she went out for a walk and became the talk of the town.

They were all wondering who the beauty was, and when someone was courageous enough to stop her and ask her, they were shocked to learn that this beauty was Juanita, that girl who was popular and famous for being ugly.

Who knew that the people in the town were so fond of beautiful people? It was the first time that Juan experienced a day of being given things for free or at a huge discount.

Juan took advantage of this and accepted everything. When she was done, she returned home and chilled in the living room. Julian called her and Juan could hear that Julian was happy.

She was happy for him even though she didn’t know why the other person was happy. The two talked for more than an hour before they hung up.

Bored with watching T.V, Juan took out her laptop and began to browse through the internet. She checked Sparrow’s real estate agency and check what they were selling.

Their house was a bit small and Juan wanted her parents to live in a bigger house but her funds weren’t that much yet. After auctioning the bags of rice, each selling for at least ten thousand to twenty thousand dollars, she could at least buy an apartment but not a villa.

But as someone who was filled with so much hope, Juan knew that she will have it soon and be able to let her parents live happily and in a big house just like other people out there.

In the end, Juan was attracted by a few restaurants that were on sale or being rented out. After checking a number of them, she liked one that was near and in a good condition.

It wasn’t wise for her parents to keep on running that food stall so she wanted them to open a restaurant and hire a few employees and not overwork themselves like before.

When Juan went to sleep, she had no idea that someone managed to find her blog and shared it with everyone. After so many days they finally managed to find the person, they had been hunting. How can they not be elated?

This is how Juanita went viral once more and those with access were able to know that there was a fairy in the country. Of course, where she lives, nobody knew but who cares about that?

On this night, Irene was also scrolling through the internet and had seen photos of this fairy before but at that time she didn’t keep it in her head. But after seeing Juanita the other day, at one glance she was able to tell that this beautiful person was none other than Juanita.

“How can this be?” Irene lost her cool as she looked at the smiling girl in the photo.

Mark heard Irene’s shrill so he rushed to where she was and found her looking at a photo of a very beautiful woman. He was a man and knew how to appreciate the beauty and this person on the screen was simply a fairy.

No man would not be tempted after seeing that. But the more he looked at her the more he was reminded of that girl, a girl he secretly loved and yet failed to have her. He was so angry just thinking about it.

“Dear, what’s wrong?” Mark sat down next to Irene and took her in his arms.

Even after being together for years, he was still fond of her and didn’t get tired of her.

“That person, doesn’t she look like Juanita?” her voice was shaking when she asked her husband wanting to hear his own opinion.

Mark who heard this question nearly popped his eyes out as he scrutinized the smiling woman in the photo. The more he looked at her, the more it all came into his head.

This was her but how did she end up like this after not seeing each other for like two months?

“She looks like her, but how did she become like this?” Mark asked nervously. His heart was currently racing and he didn’t know how to act at this moment.

Irene didn’t see that there was something wrong with her husband and answered him, “I don’t know but last time I saw her she wasn’t like this. Do you think that she had some surgery?”

Upon hearing that, Mark thought that it made sense but a surgery that made someone that beautiful, how expensive will it be?

“But how did she get the money? She is not working, remember!” Mark was so angry as he asked that.

He felt a bit suffocated and he wanted to vent out some steam but he couldn’t let Irene find out about that otherwise he will lose it all and he didn’t want that.

“Maybe she found some golden sponsor to give her the money but I still can’t believe that it is her,” she gritted her teeth, her eyes were filled with so much hatred and she felt as if she was just a laughing stock.

She had fought against something like this her entire life and yet now the person who was looked upon by everyone became a fairy? She wasn’t going to take that, if she couldn’t have it then no one else would.

Mark didn’t see Irene’s sly smile as she thought of schemes to ruin Juanita. She was not going to sit and watch and Juanita receives all the love and attention. She was going to expose her for being plastic and a fraud.

Irene didn’t even realize that it wasn’t Juan’s intention to become popular. All she wanted was to be happy and be like other people out there. It wasn’t her fault that the fruits she ate reformed her body and that elixir turned her like this.

If Irene were to learn that Juanita was an immortal and someone whom she will never be able to reach, how would she even react?
