Chapter 43

Lsabella's pov :
Things were spiraling out of control.
Xavier put one arm around my waist to stop me from stepping back, and the other hand cupped my chin.
Like a couple of lovers parting, Xavier's kiss fell again. At first he was careful, his cool, soft lips gently touching mine, one after the other, as if he was tasting a soft, fragrant treat.
Then Xavier wasn't satisfied with that level anymore, he sucked on my lips a few times and then opened his eyes as if asking for my opinion.
I watched him quietly, too.
A second later, his kiss fell again, and when I looked at his face, the infinitely enlarged face before me and the eyelashes trembling with emotion revealed his pity and vulnerability, but he was not at all polite in this kiss, and the moment his lips touched each other, his tongue followed suit and probed in.
My teeth were easily pried open and my tongue reached in and swept in brutally, seemingly with a hint of resentment in the midst of aggression. The eager and domineering kisses kept falling while Xavier's passion made up for his rusty kissing skills. It was like I was falling into sweet trouble, giving up control from the start and letting Xavier's nonsense take over
Xavier's hands gradually became unfaithful, he kissed to the point of passion, the palms of his hands on my back moving rubbing, as the amplitude increased, Xavier wandered around my waist hands deftly over my shirt, fingertips unhindered touch my skin, like a small cold snake, gliding around my waist, he was luring me to fall.
A gentle but clear knock on the door fell behind me without warning, as if it were falling on my ear.
My eyes snapped open, then I pushed Xavier away.
"Miss Lsabella? The designer has arrived."
It was like being caught cheating, and I instantly turned red.
But Xavier didn't know how to restrain himself, but he smiled and came up and wrapped his arms around my waist.
I broke free of his embrace again and hammered him on the chest a few times.
I took a few deep breaths to breathe down my current discomfort and then said in as normal a voice as I could to the people at the door.
"I'm changing, you guys wait at the door for a minute."
Then I pulled Xavier over to the window sill and gestured for him to leave from here.
Xavier rubbed my fingers reluctantly, then whispered against my ear, "But I don't want to go."
I glared at him, "Don't you need to supervise the ritual site? This is not a simple ritual to the gods! You get back to me now!"
"...Okay. Then you must be careful alone, Asher and the others are ambushed nearby, when something happens, hurry up and link them."
"I know, you go now."
Xavier dropped another kiss on my forehead, "I'm really leaving, you have to protect yourself."
I covered my chest which was beating at a high speed and watched Xavier until he disappeared from my view, it wasn't hard for Xavier to leave when Blue Moon Pack was so busy up and down these days.
How proactive and bold my move was just now, and how fast my heart was beating now.
I had really just wanted to give Xavier a small reward, but this boy I grew up with had somehow quietly grown into a man.
He skillfully fetched my waist, and his other hand squeezed my bottom bar without resistance.
Perhaps the vision in the crystal ball will really become reality. I spread both palms and covered my face tightly, as if I were hiding under the covers and could escape the status quo.
But the temperature of my palms was nowhere near as warm as my burning red cheeks, and Xavier's smiling face and figure when he was close to me kept filling my mind.
The scene of Xavier's departure was comical, like a wife saying goodbye to her husband, but the daring "husband" left through a window.
But this is not like cheating, after all, the upcoming full moon night in the couple but each have their own thoughts, maybe that night the moon will be a Blood Moon.
Yes, I still have a task to do.
I got myself together, then actually put on the dress and opened the door for the designer and assistant to come in.
"I want to add swan feathers to the sleeves, to arrange them in several layers as if they were really the wings of a swan."
I gestured in front of the huge fitting mirror, presenting my idea to the designer and assistant.
Although my heart was still beating fiercely, I performed so well on the surface that I admired myself.
"Do you understand?"
"Understood, Miss."
"So can it be done? Is there any problem with the timing or the technique?"
"No, Miss, we'll catch up with the work tonight, and it will be ready tomorrow."
"Then it's hard work for you guys."
The sudden arrival of this interlude ended when I changed my dress with the help of the maid and left this room.
When I returned to my room, I received the message that Xavier had left safely, and he seemed to be happy.
I tucked my phone under my pillow, leaving him hanging for now, to teach him a lesson about leaving the territory without permission.
Waking up early in the morning, I realized something that really made me feel nervous: the full moon was tomorrow night.
I thought I would keep my composure until the end of tomorrow, but I'm getting nervous now.
It's not just what kind of contingencies I'll encounter tomorrow, but also the moonstones. Will I be able to get them to Blood Moon Pack without any problems, and will the ceremony be a success?
Or what if the moonstone is a fake? Do I need to find Nora again?
Then I'll take Xavier with me then and see what else she can say.
I'll even kidnap Nora back, and if she still dares to lie to me, I'll help her remember the historical connection between werewolves and witches.
I also took the opportunity to confirm the terrain on the eve of the great battle as the maid took me to confirm the site.
The scene of Luna's ritual was set on the square of Blue Moon Pack. The maid helped me lift the curtain that kept out uninvolved people, and I lifted the hem of my skirt and stepped into the scene.
Even with other things on my mind, I was still stunned by the sight before me.
Blue roses surrounded the entire venue, forming the shape of a full moon, with a white stage extending out from the top of the full moon of roses. The backdrop at the end was a crystal hanging in the air and shimmering.
I imagined that I would be the moon god in a sea of flowers when I stepped on it tomorrow.
"How do you feel, Miss Lsabella? We can still modify it if you're not satisfied anywhere."
"No," I exclaimed, "it's just so beautiful, I didn't even envision it being this beautiful before."
"As long as you like it."
"Why are you still addressing 'Miss Lsabella'?"
Jasper's voice suddenly came from behind me, and the designer and maid of honor beside me had turned to curtsy.
I turned around and saw Jasper, whom I hadn't seen for a day. He didn't know whether he had trimmed his hair last night or this morning, and his rooted blond hair stood on his head, adding some youth and freshness to his already very distinguished temperament.
He also looked very happy, as if he was looking forward to tomorrow's full moon.
I was able to be deceived by these falsehoods in a trance, and took advantage of this topsy-turvy state to smile towards Jasper: "This venue is really beautifully decorated."
Jasper just happened to smoothly put his arm around my waist and looked at me affectionately, "It's good that you like it."
He then turned to the others present, "From now on, directly address Miss Lsabella as Mrs. Luna, got it?"
Jasper actually exaggeratedly called the others to modify their names like this, and a witty maid of honor already bowed once more toward me: "Good day, Mrs. Luna."
Jasper was amused by her, and the crowd laughed along with her.
I was a little shy.
I tugged on Jasper's sleeve, and he got my meaning.
"What else haven't you seen? Let's go with you?"
I looked at him with surprise: "Weren't you busy patrolling yesterday? Today there is nothing to do?"
"Something, but not bad for a little time."
"All right."
I asked the maid to take Jasper and me to see how the crown was made.
We arrived in the jewelry designer's studio and they were finished.
My crown was sitting on a table in the very center of the room, covered by a piece of black velvet. The moonstone had been set into it so it could reveal a faint glow.
As Jasper was trying to lift him, the designer stopped him: "Sir, have you forgotten? You can't see the bride's entire jewelry in advance before the wedding."
Blue Moon Pack did have this custom.
Jasper had a rare sense of displeasure at being disobeyed, and he smiled: "Then I'll go out and wait, and you take care of Mrs. Luna."
"Yes, sir."
I calmly allowed the moonstone to stay with these jewelry designers and be set in the crown, but my nervousness today did calm down the moment I saw the moonstone.
Everyone in the room was speechless with the soft glow.
My fingers brushed over the crown, lingering briefly on the moonstone between them.
"I'm very pleased, let's go see the next piece."
After I left the studio, I didn't see Jasper.
Declan was waiting for me at the door: "Madame, sorry..."
I nodded: "Let your Alpha go to work."
When it came to times like this, I didn't care at all about Jasper's sudden departure.
As I was leading the group around back to Alpha's castle, I noticed around the corner a small child hiding behind a flower bed poking his head in.
It was Matthew. It's been a long time since I've seen him. I've been so busy since I got back recently that I haven't had time to visit them.
I told the maids to go back first.
"Matthew!" I waved towards him.
Seeing my being proud of him, Matthew immediately ran towards me: "Is Miss Lsabella really going to be our Luna?"
"It's true, the ceremony is going to take place tomorrow."
"That's great!"
Matthew's smile was so full of innocent joy that I could only smile faintly.
"Where's your mom?"
"She's gone to the castle for a clinic, I think it's that Olivia sister."
I heard Olivia's name again after a long time, and surprisingly there was something unfamiliar about it.
But Matthew didn't know about the adults' feud.
"I was allowed to stay inside, but Mr. Jasper went in and mom let me out for fear I'd get into trouble."
"So," I looked in the direction of the castle, "how about we just hide away and go find mommy after they're gone?"
"Okay."
