Chapter 47

Lsabella's pov :
The huge full moon hung in the sky, and it seemed to be close at hand.
Although it was like I was being held hostage, with no way to transform my form and being forced to the edge of a cliff, I was already in a complete desperate situation.
But the full moon was a sign of success for me, the success I had been waiting for for ten years.
The ritual should have begun and will be unstoppable towards success, and we Blood Moon Pack can get rid of the bitter encounter of ten years ago and go strong again under my leadership.
I fell into an uncontrollable trembling because of the excitement, and the desperate situation in front of me did not matter as well, nothing could stop me.
But I know Jasper is impossible to let me go, behind him are Blue Moon Pack primitive warriors, I can not in such a situation under the smooth escape from the Blue Moon Pack.
The Blue Moon Pack's territory is large and the terrain is complex, and I chose to take my only chance to run to the edge of this cliff, which was the most successful escape route I could think of for myself under the circumstances.
But the only way I could think of was to just jump off the cliff. I wanted to stall for time, and then after the Moon Goddess gave us Blood Moon Pack all clan blessing, I jumped with this blessing.
I saved Xavier at the bottom of the cliff, when our pack had just fallen not long ago, I think I can fully understand Xavier's feelings, but after so much experience, I think I can not appreciate, especially the contrast between Jasper and Xavier's life, such a contrast makes me feel that I can not really appreciate Xavier's pain.
So what about this time? With such a feeling, my heart was all about Xavier, and I had accepted my fate.
"Lsabella!"
My eyes snapped open and I heard Xavier's mind link.
But he should be in Blood Moon Pack now, it's too late.
"Don't you rush! Wait for me to come over!"
I stopped completely, what was going on, was he here?
Jasper tried to block me, and my pause gave him the opportunity instead.
He leapt up and finished transforming his form in the air, his wolf state allowed him to hold me completely, and I couldn't even run half a meter away.
I pulled out my dagger, hoping Xavier would make it in time.
"I'm coming, Lsabella, don't be afraid."
I slowly lowered the knife and flashed a smile towards Jasper, I wasn't afraid.
Xavier's pov :
I have never disobeyed Lsabella's orders, although I have secretly killed or terrorized those who offended her.
But this time was different, this was a mission sent to me by Lsabella, and after I swore to be her Beta for the rest of my life, I have been keeping my oath, and I dare swear to the Moon Goddess that I have not betrayed Lsabella.
But this time was different, I decided to return to Blue Moon Pack early at the risk of being reprimanded by Lsabella.
I linked Kyra and Bain and confirmed with them many times that this time the ritual had been ensured to be correct.
"Lsabella easy anxiety even if it is, why do you also ask so many times, really can not you come back ah."
This Kyra is also a rare female Gamma on the East Continent, she is indulged by Lsabella, her temper is not small.
"How to talk to your superiors? If I don't go to protect Lsabella, should I replace you?"
"If you believe me, don't ask any more questions, if I fail I'll kill myself to thank you, do you see that you are still satisfied?"
I treat people other than Lsabella not so gentle, but this Kyra is Lsabella's hand-picked Gamma, I believe in Lsabella's choice.
"Then remember your own vows and keep them."
But I had a hard time getting into the Blue Moon Pack, and this Jasper actually asked the guards to block me.
"I'm Jasper's brother, and I'm not even entitled to attend his and Luna's wedding?"
"Sorry, Mr. Xavier. Mr. Jasper didn't tell us the reason either, only that you would understand why."
I sneered, I did understand, my Alpha's mind link had been lost for a long time, could I not know what Jasper was trying to do?
Just as I was about to make a hard break for it, a familiar voice suddenly came from within the gates of the Blue Moon Pack.
"Isn't this Xavier? Your brother's Luna ceremony is already halfway through, why are you just now arriving?"
Elder Charles appeared for some reason, but I couldn't care less about that anymore.
I thanked Elder Charles as I passed by him and hurried to find Lsabella.
There was a raucous noise in the direction of Jasper's castle, and several searchlights struck several columns of light that moved around.
My heart tightened, could they be looking for Lsabella?
The closer I got to the castle, the more chaotic the crowd became.
Everyone here knew me, so I had to drag a random one and put him down after asking for clarification.
They were really looking for Lsabella, who escaped even after being drugged.
The ordinary warrior wasn't sure about the rest.
I clenched my fists, my eyes revealing an eerie blue light. I swept past the panicked crowd in front of me. If Lsabella had really been hurt, I would have demanded an explanation from Jasper and Blue Moon Pack!
Suddenly, a familiar figure flashed in front of me.
Without much thought, I followed her on instinct alone, and then held her hostage by a less crowded flower bed.
Olivia recognized the dagger, and her old memories came back to her, and she was now trembling with the memories of her past.
I didn't give Olivia a chance to catch her breath and placed the tip of the knife directly and completely against her neck, the scar on her neck was still there and I slid the tip of the knife along this mark.
"Do you know where Lsabella and Jasper are?"
Olivia has been completely in fear, she nodded desperately, and her eyes followed a little after a drop.
But in my case, Olivia is not innocent, all this is not she asked for it?
"Take me with you and don't think otherwise, or I won't be able to make just one light cut with this knife."
I took Olivia hostage and moved in the direction of the cliff, the surrounding warriors who found the anomaly froze in place, and none of them dared to come up even if they tried carefully, after all, no one could guarantee that Jasper's precious Olivia would be saved from my hands in no time.
Then I first saw Jasper, but I did not care what his expression or state was like, I looked anxiously towards his back, I finally saw my Lsabella was still alive.
But her state is very bad, these years occasionally have a big war when Lsabella are not so haggard.
Her pale face was devoid of any blood, her red hair flying in the wind but seemed like blood, and I noticed the stinging red of her chest, where it seemed to be a wound.
Damn, I'm still a step too late.
But Lsabella seemed to guess what was on my mind, she smiled towards me, I knew my Lsabella would not leave her pack and me first, she is our Valkyrie.
Lsabella told Jasper to hurry up and pick Olivia then let us go.
I was in a really good mood, and Jasper's expression of reluctance as he stuck to Lsabella didn't even provoke my annoyance.
The full moon was such a good time, worth fighting for.
"Then let me fight Jasper, right? If you lose, let me and Lsabella go."
Lsabella looked at me worriedly and I hinted to her to look at the moon in the sky.
She understood what I meant in an instant, then stepped back and acquiesced to my decision.
"Fine," the interaction between Lsabella and I made Jasper grit his teeth in hatred, "then let me kill you."
Suddenly I genuinely felt like tonight was a good night to throw a still shivering Olivia at Lsabella's feet.
If the witch and my parents' choices were others deciding my fate in the first place, wasn't I deciding my own fate now?
A fair duel between Jasper and me is the one who loses has to leave Lsabella.
I didn't care whose side the moon goddess would be on anymore, I could fight for myself.
