Chapter 48

Lsabella's pov.
I'm not worried about Xavier's fighting ability against Jasper, nor am I worried about Kyra's side holding a bad ceremony, I do get anxious about things like that easily before, but now that things have come to this point, I'm a lot calmer than I used to be.
Even in the worst case scenario, even if you tell me now that there is something wrong with the moonstone, I can still keep my sanity and analyze our plan afterwards.
Kyra's voice appeared in my mind, "Miss, the ritual is going on and everything is going well."
I nodded towards Xavier, ready to begin.
I knew the significance of this battle, for Xavier, although he was always telling me he had let go of the past, it was a turning point in his destiny, he was only eight years old when he was captured by a witch.
His parents, who had always cared for him, were forced to choose between their two children, and the child who was left with no way out must not have felt good, right?
So this should also be a chance for Xavier to fight for it, he can have a battle with Jasper here, and then to decide the winner.
Also to make up for the regret of the year.
I dragged Olivia to the edge of the cliff to open the venue for Xavier and Jasper's duel.
Jasper had completed his transformation first, and Xavier followed suit, transforming into a wolf with white fur.
They hissed, neither of them refusing to lower their morale.
Xavier has been growing fast in recent times, and his combat power is increasing dramatically. I noticed between them that he was much more powerful again right after his birthday, already powerful from the wolf's awakening, I guess.
So I'm not really worried that Xavier will be no match for Jasper now, and besides, if the ritual goes well, the full moon will bring
The ritual will bring even more power.
The brothers both seemed to carry strong animosity and resentment towards each other, and they both rushed out towards each other in a flash, like two lights, and a loud tearing sound erupted the moment they met.
I could smell the smell of blood wafting through the air.
But before I could react, the two of them rushed together again, and I didn't even distinguish the previous encounter, who was the one who was injured.
There were a few more terrifying bites, and many of the other ordinary fighters, whose personnel were seeing Alpha-level combat for the first time, were scared back a few steps.
I looked nervously at the two wolves that kept separating and quickly pounced together, they were like crazy and tearing each other without strategy, as if boiling one of them to death, even if they were victorious, not even caring how much they would be injured.
How such a battle I remembered I had only seen it before.
I sighed, although I told Xavier I had forgiven him a long time ago, but I now felt anew what made me feel angry about Xavier, he was always like this, and things related to me were sent up like death, not caring about their own lives at all.
And I now know that Xavier did it because he loved me, how could he be so stupid? Love someone and do not even want their own life.
I feel anxious, it's a pity I couldn't finish transforming my form, otherwise I would have rushed up, this should have been a duel between Jasper and me.
My mind is in a mess, and I'm thinking about everything.
My eyes didn't dare to leave the two wolves fighting at the edge of the cliff, fearing that a negligent battle would be over.
The smell of blood in the air was very strong now, and both wolves must have been wounded, and this was destined to be a fierce battle.
There was another startling howl, I panicked and looked over carefully, the white wolf landed first, it took two steps and stopped.
My heart seized.
Xavier spat out a mouthful of blood.
If I hadn't heard a big racket, I would have run straight over and hugged Xavier without a care in the world.
But the Blue Moon Pack warriors all went up to Jasper, as well as the clan's wolf doctors.
I saw Jasper fall straight to the ground, blood crimsoning his clothes, and he looked more seriously injured.
I think I have almost recovered.
I grabbed Olivia, who had fallen to her knees, and dragged her over to Xavier's side.
At this moment Xavier has regained his form, he looks quite sober, and has several bite wounds on his body.
Seeing me walk to his side, Xavier gently leaned on my body, his head buried in my shoulder.
"Ouch." A soft mumble.
My heart sank, but my mouth didn't want to spare him: "Knowing that it hurts and still playing without strategy, you dragged him to his death, and you'll be better off yourself?"
Xavier rubbed himself in the nook of my neck: "You don't even feel sorry for me?"
This one was particularly aggravating, and my tears almost fell.
But there were other people here, and I needed to get other things out of the way first.
Jasper was badly wounded in the abdomen, the bleeding was about to stop, and I saw that he had also been stabbed in the chest, much like my wound.
It's hard not to suspect that this is Xavier's selfishness. Forget it, I'll educate him later.
Jasper saw me coming and braced himself to push away the men who were between him and us and leaned over Declan to look at me.
I spoke coldly, "You lost."
Jasper's face changed and he looked at me indignantly, "Did you like Xavier a long time ago? Now you must have gotten what you wanted, right?"
I didn't care about his defeated words, I only cared about the result of this winning place that Xavier got for me: "Of course I got what I wanted, I shouldn't have been here in the first place, do your people know that you are threatening me to Blue Moon Pack for two months with my pack?"
There was a rustle of chatter around the room, and Jasper's face was getting ugly.
I brought up the last chip in my hand, "One last thing, you release me from your mate relationship now or I'll kill her, she's set me up so many times and tried to get my heart, well worth getting stabbed by me yet."
I literally pulled out my own dagger and pressed it against Olivia's neck.
Jasper looked at me with indignation and surprise: "How dare you threaten me with this?"
"How often have you threatened me? I learned it from you?"
With a little force, the tip of the knife broke through the skin on Olivia's neck, and blood flowed down her bare neck.
"Don't make me talk nonsense to you, I'm the one who will do it straight away."
Olivia sobered up a bit at this point, the desire to live brought her back from her daze, but also just kept repeating a few words, "Help me, please help me, Jasper!"
I felt pity just listening to her voice, and Jasper was willing to put so much effort into her, so I guess he must have said yes.
After a small silence, Jasper said in a low and faint voice the words I had been waiting for: "Dissolve the relationship."
I was lighter and was held by Xavier instead, but Nut immediately appeared in my mind: "You still have mate relationship, Lsabella."
I was instantly angry and wanted to take the dagger in my hand and stab Jasper, wasn't my MATE relationship dissolved? How come there is still a relationship? Is Jasper he playing a trick on me?
I viciously yelled towards Jasper: "You cheated me!"
But Jasper's voice was also puzzled: "I didn't..."
"You're my mate!" exclaimed Xavier suddenly, ignoring his wounds and hugging me in a big circle with excitement, "You're my mate, Lsabella! I'm so happy!"
I was dumbfounded by Xavier and still dumbfounded to react.
Xavier put me down after a few spins, his eyes were full of tenderness, wanting to be charmed by me, looking at me deeply: "I'm so happy, Lsabella, you're my mate, the moon goddess didn't abandon me completely."
I think I was really silly, my brain played all empty and didn't think about anything. All I knew was to look at Xavier and giggle with him.
"So it really is a fake sexmate."
I wiped away a bit of blood from Xavier's face, not knowing what to say at this point instead.
I looked down and smiled and looked up again, Xavier was still looking at me and giggling.
I grabbed his hand, "So we'll go home together?"
"Well, we're going home together."
