Chapter 59

Xavier's pov :
I finally arrived at Blood Moon Pack a second before the morning sun was about to fall on the earth.
In fact, with my state, there was no way I could make it back in time, but it was a good thing that the wheels were on the line in order to bring in help.
I actually have a very subtle feeling, because on the East Continent, there is actually a natural hatred between every wolf people and rogues, because one obtains the resources needed to survive by plundering them, while the other needs to constantly strengthen its defense and protect its resources.
So from the beginning of my memory, I understood that the rogues were my enemies, and we expelled the traitors from the wolves, and they would basically join the rogues soon. The rogues on the continent are the descendants of the traitors and renegades of the various wolf packs.
But I now became the temporary leader of the rogues through the wheel warfare.
They piously prostrated themselves before me and accepted my command.
Blood Moon Pack was now surrounded by other wolves, while I acquired the qualification to dispatch the rogues, and I felt the absurdity of life, as if anything could happen.
It was important to send Moonstone back.
I first got the two fastest rogues who would take turns to carry me and return me to Blood Moon Pack.
Then I ordered the rogue army to rush to the vicinity of Blood Moon Pack, but keep a good and proper distance, I was preventing the wolves on the East Continent from declaring war towards our Blood Moon Pack, so that we could get reinforcements as soon as possible.
The clamor above and outside the territory was perceptible when I could see Blood Moon Pack from afar.
I temporarily changed my route and asked the rogue to send me in through the side door.
Asher was waiting for me at the door.
The moment I landed, he dropped tears of excitement: "You finally made it back in time!"
I grabbed his arm: "What happened? Is Lsabella okay?"
"Miss is fine, she is now arguing with other Alpha's at the entrance of the pack, some Alpha's have already noticed the abnormality of the North Forest."
While we were talking, Brielle had heard about my return and immediately rushed over.
I stuffed the moonstone in her arms, "Hurry up and go, leave me alone."
Brielle nodded, and although she noticed my weakness, she couldn't care less and rushed off.
I breathed a sigh of relief, as if the mission had been successfully completed, but I knew it wasn't over yet, I wanted to go see
Lsabella.
"Better go see Dr. Wolf first, you're too badly hurt."
I shook my head towards Asher, "No, I want to see her."
Asher hesitated, but agreed: "Then you can hear her through the wall."
Lsabella's pov :
My bottom was not as strong, but I found the mistake the Alpha's made, I could first try to stall a little bit, and then it didn't matter if we really couldn't stall anymore, we weren't afraid to go to war, and in any case, we could just hold the North Woods to death.
There is already some light in the sky, maybe a little more time, you can see the sunrise early here.
The Alpha's were standing not far from the entrance to Blood Moon Pack, fully clothed, and seemed to have been waiting for me for a long time.
I looked first at Gilbert, who seemed to know something, but his demeanor was still natural, and I gave him a mysterious smile.
Then came Jasper, who also looked thoughtful, although he smiled towards me the moment our eyes met, but she looked at me with less certainty than before, and I guess they all watched the video sent back by Lvy.
This Lvy was very reckless, but from the perspective of my antagonist, her actions were very useful in breaking the stalemate.
"Miss Lsabella, we've had a tentative discussion and decided to enter your territory to check out the situation so that we can also clear your name as soon as possible."
Mr. Felix had already started his show, I had a really good impression of him before when he was temporarily on one side with me, but now that we had been on opposite sides for a long time, I was able to get used to it, even though it was not a good experience.
I raised my hand and signaled my warrior to send up Miss Lvy, who was a good cause for my quarrel.
I grunted coldly and pushed the bundled up Lvy into the open space in front of me: "I would like to ask Mr. Gilbert first, why is your Beta on my territory, is she an Alpha protocol that you blatantly disobeyed at your behest?"
Gilbert didn't expect me to ignore Felix's question and go straight to him.
"I also ask that Miss Lsabella be able to answer Mr. Felix's question first."
I won't let up at all: "We are also at the stage of pre-war peace talks, just yesterday we discussed various matters of further cooperation, why is it that just a few hours have passed and my community has been invaded, do you all mean that what we talked about before has been vetoed with actions?"
Except for Jasper, the other Alpha knew what I was talking about, and they exchanged glances with each other, supposedly not guessing that I would be so forceful.
Levy, who I had caught, was one of Gilbert's men, and despite some reluctance, Gilbert was forced to step forward: "I don't know what happened, it was..."
"Okay," I heard a beginning and immediately interrupted Gilbert's words with a wave of the hand, I do not have the patience to listen to him here to make up:.
"I have to work hard to all the Alpha to check out such things, and when there are results in then inform me, I have to go back to catch up on sleep."
Without waiting for their reaction, I turned around and left.
Because I grasped their psychology, so despite the voice of dissatisfaction behind me, I returned to my territory without incident. None of their wolves dared to openly disobey the agreement of the Alpha meeting now, especially such a small group, and none of them dared to stand out first at such a time of coming out.
There were other reasons for me to rush back like this, because I received the news that Xavier had returned with the Moonstone.
Such good news brought me very complicated emotions, they only reported this piece of news to me, but a short piece of news evoked my numerous urgent questions that needed to be resolved.
What kind of ordeal did Xavier go through? Is he in good condition now? Was he injured? Are the injuries serious?
The short distance from the meeting place with the Alpha to the gate of our territory was far away because I needed to play calm.
Finally, I stepped inside the gate and the huge iron gate slowly closed under the push of the warrior.
I grabbed a random person's shirt who was closest to me.
"Where is Xavier now? How is he? Take me to him?"
"I'm here, Lsabella."
The familiar but calming voice instead caused my heart to stop half a beat the moment it was picked up.
I jerked my head up and looked around quickly, desperate to see that face so I could regain some composure.
In the small shadow cast by the fence of the territory, I saw the figure.
I pushed through the crowd that didn't have time to get out of the way for me and ran to Xavier.
Xavier opened his arms towards me.
Looking at the person I missed so much, I suddenly thought if it was all over, could I apply for early retirement and find a quiet place with him to spend the rest of my life in peace without being apart.
I caught his pale face, but I didn't say anything and gently leaned into his arms.
"Great, it's almost over."
"Yes, it's almost over."
