Chapter 65

Xavier's pov :
I woke up with a jolt in the dark, because I kept feeling like I had something important to do, but I couldn't remember exactly what kind of thing.
My eyes snapped open to an unfamiliar ceiling, and my memory slowly returned as I remembered Lsabella.
I reached up to my side and felt the cold wooden bed indeed, Lsabella had been gone for a long time.
I immediately got up, pushed the door and walked out.
I would never trust Lsabella's word again, she never kept her word, she would just leave without waking me up and then just leave.
I pulled a random fighter and asked him where Kyra was, only to turn around and Kyra was already rushing over.
"Where have you been, Lsabella? Did you send her away?"
"Miss went to fight with the Alpha's, she wants you to hold the fort, the possibility of us encountering a combined Alpha army ambush is still high."
"That I know." I don't need a Gamma to lecture me, I followed Lsabella for so many years, is it for nothing to experience so many things, no experience and judgment at all?
I rushed to ask Lsabella's whereabouts like this, but not because she obviously promised to be good, and by the time I woke up, she was gone? She is always like this, I have given up on changing her habits.
But now the situation is special, the battle is changing rapidly, I can only put these things aside for now. I looked at Kyra: "What's the situation now?"
"The Seekers have been out, and their latest round of reports are that they have found traces of an army, and a good number of werewolves are approaching in the direction of our territory, and it's mainly in the direction of the North Forest."
I looked up at the moon in the sky, although it was not as good as the full moon's, but it was able to support the ceremony.
"What's the situation at the ceremony site?"
"The ceremony is going well, Brielle and Asher are watching the scene, there will be no problem."
I had a little hesitation, but still asked, "The moonstone... can we tell if it's real now?"
"Don't you worry, Brielle said there will not be a more real moonstone than this one."
I breathed a sigh of relief in my heart, "That's good. I'll go on another patrol, you guys continue to intensify your exploration and report back to me immediately if anything happens."
"Yes!"
I transformed my form and tried not to think about what would happen to Lsabella outside the wolf pack, if she asked for help I would immediately rush out to save her, if she didn't ask for help I should trust her.
I patrolled along the Blood Moon Pack's fortifications, focusing on checking for any omissions, and then alerting everyone to be prepared for war at any time.
It's true that Blood Moon Pack's territory is small, but every piece of it is familiar to me, and I won't tolerate anyone daring to trample on it.
I quickly circled around and returned to the North Woods near where I was most vulnerable to attack.
Kyra was here, along with Brielle and Asher, and they all looked in unison at the altar on the ground.
It was a familiar altar that we had actually left untouched since we had prepared it before the full moon, keeping it here and then waiting for the opportunity that was ours.
Suddenly, without any warning, my heart twitched, just for a moment, and immediately returned to normal.
I immediately looked over at Kyra, who also bent slightly from the pain of this one.
We looked at each other and immediately realized what had happened.
Lsabella was in a very urgent situation, she was trying to link us both at the same time, but was forcibly interrupted, and the heart twitches we both experienced at the same time were a side effect of this forcible interruption.
I moved away from the altar and in the direction of the gate, I had to get to Lsabella.
Kyra understood my intentions and she immediately rushed forward, stopping me in front of her.
"You can't go alone, we have to talk about it, just by yourself, aren't you going to die?"
How could I die easily? I'm not weak, I'm not the same person I was ten years ago.
The Alpha's outside I honestly don't care about any of them, for Lsabella's sake I can fight each and every one of them single-handedly, the wheel battle on the plain gave me confidence, I had previously singled out ten of the most powerful of the rogues, although I have not fully recovered from my injuries, but I feel I have no fear now, I am only full of anger and courage, no one can harm my Lsabella.
Just as Kyra and I were arguing, the Seeker rushed back.
He looked like he was exhausted and gasped, "Here it comes!"
No sooner had his words fallen than the sound of wolves running wildly outside our enclosure behind us... so soon?
Kyra and I looked at each other, and we reached a brief consensus to take care of these intruders first.
Lsabella's pov :
I was forcibly injected with a shot of an inhibitor, then hooded and transported to a small room.
The dose of the drug was so strong that I seemed to pass out.
I had such a strong hold on my heart that I opened my eyes immediately.
The hood was removed and I immediately surveyed the room, which seemed to be mobile and looked like the trunk of a car to me.
Gilbert moved a chair and sat in front of me, what a way to look at me, I had an Alpha guarding me when I was in a depressant situation.
"Not to question Miss Lsabella's fighting ability, but you as an Alpha of a small wolf pack, but also to flow between packs, involved in so many big events, and finally stole the moonstone, we think you are not simple ah."
I sneered, "Are you guys already not going to interrogate me? How dare one already convict me?"
Gilbert was very calm and seemed to be very well prepared: "Don't you think it's strange? I'm the only Alpha here, because all the other Alpha's have gone to the front. We thought it would be a little easier to take down the Blood Moon Pack than to get you to talk. And now there's no more Jasper as an obstacle, although there was a little mishap halfway through, but on the heavy side our plan worked out perfectly."
The only downside now is that I failed to tell our people that the combined forces now actually outnumber us twice as much as we had predicted, and I hope that Xavier and Kyra don't take the enemy lightly and can hold their positions.
"You guys actually want the secret of the moonstone, right? Why else would you attack Blood Moon Pack without the Alpha's joint meeting passing? According to the rules of the joint meeting, such an act of yours is an invasion."
"So what? As long as we find evidence on Blood Moon Pack's territory, it doesn't matter what our actions were, the fact that we caught the traitor for the East Continent is the more important thing."
I glared coldly at Gilbert: "With such behavior, you are still worthy of denying Jasper's rule? If he has a chance to escape, I would support him to take revenge on you guys."
Gilbert succeeded in being angered by me, and he grabbed me by the collar: "Don't think about your Jasper, he would have been turned into a pile of ashes! I was against him indulging you woman like this before, now you are trying to ride on the head of the Alpha Council."
The car door suddenly opened at that moment, and I heard the loud sound of a fight outside.
Where is this place? Had they brought me to the battlefield?
Two warriors came up, then one grabbed me by the arm on one side and dragged me down.
This was really near the North Woods, and it seemed that Alpha had gotten reliable information.
I was dragged to the front of the battlefield by the warriors, and I saw the soldiers of my place and our warriors, and the walls of our Blood Moon Pack, and Xavier on the walls.
"Listen up Blood Moon Pack! We have your Alpha in our hands! Drop the weapons in your hands if you don't want to watch her die!"
I'm so sorry, I looked over at Xavier, and I was caught again.
Xavier tilted his head and let out a desperate cry of rage.
