Chapter 100 He's Gone For Good (The Final Goodbye)

Leopold Demp quickly restrained himself. At this point, it really didn't matter if Jerry Dank let go of the company or not, but what he knew was that his father would be in a very bad shape if he found out that Leopold Demp had sabotaged the company and made him lose everything.

Jerry Dank's shares in the company were large enough for them to consider it a great hit if the company dared to allow Jerry Dank dump them.

Leopold Demp looked at Audrey, signaling for her to try and get Jerry Dank top let her go. It was ow out of his hands, as he could not do anything to stop Jerry Dank now that he had been threatened.

At this point, Audrey Turnah knew that if she did not enforce her will power at its maximum capacity, Jerry Dank would make her stay in Bullen until her flight would leave.

She couldn't let that happen! She had told Jerry Dank that she was done with treating him, and Dr. Greg would send someone else to continue the treatment and she was going to stand by that.

''By the way, are you not studying here? You want to abandon your studies and leave?'' Jerry Dank asked, hoping that this fact could bring Audrey Turnah to her senses and make her stay, incase she had forgotten that she was also studying, apart from treating him.

''I will move my classes back to Mullen. That is not a problem, neither does it have anything to do with you,'' Audrey Turnah replied defiantly.

As soon as she said this, she shoved Jerry Dank out of her way and stepped out of the house.

''Please come out. I want to lock my door,'' Audrey Turnah said to Jerry Dank and Leopold Demp.

Leopold Demp was glad that Audrey Turnah had put her foot down and not allowed Jerry Dank to bully her. He could no longer say anything to support her since Jerry Dank had now threatened him.

Jerry Dank reluctantly stepped out of the house and watched Audrey Turnah lock up.

Audrey Turnah deliberately announced as loudly as she could that she was going to call a taxi to take her to the airport. After hearing the way Jerry Dank threatened Leopold Demp, she could not afford to put him in harms way. She could not afford to make him compromise his company because of her, so she opted to take a taxi to the airport by herself, hoping that he would not be stubborn enough to insist on taking her there.

Fortunately, Leopold Demp was sensible enough to know what Audrey Turnah was trying to do, and when she glanced at him, he quickly mouthed a ''thank you'' to her.

''So, are you just going to abandon me here without me being sure that I will receive my treatment?'' Jerry Dank said to Audrey as she finished speaking with a taxi company to send her a taxi.

Just as she opened her mouth to reply to Jerry Dank, Jerry Dank's phone started to ring.

Jerry Dank looked at his phone and his face darkened when he saw who the caller was.

Dr. Greg.

''Hello, Dr. Greg,'' Jerry Dank said hesitantly into the phone after he picked up, his eyes fixed on Audrey Turnah standing in front of him.

Audrey was relieved to hear that it was Dr. Greg that had called, as he had not given her a concrete reply as to if he was going to send another doctor down to Bullen for Jerry Dank.

But she didn't care, all she knew was that she wanted to leave, and that was what she was doing.

''Hello, Boss Dank. I will be in Bullen in an hour, and I will take over your treatment from Miss Turnah, so you don't have to worry about it. I will soon be there,'' Dr. Greg said to Jerry Dank clearly.

There was a brief and awkward silence at first, and then Jerry Dank said a straigh ''Okay'' and hung up the phone, his eyes still on Audrey Turnah, as if boring a whole into her forehead.

Just then, Jerry Dank suddenly turned and started to walk back to his car, his eyes welling up with tears while he did so.
As he walked away from Audrey Turnah, he knew that this was the final goodbye, he knew that there was no getting Audrey back, and that his obsession for her will forever be in his mind. He knew it was all over.

''Jerry!'' Audrey Turnah called as he was walking away from her.

Jerry Dank stopped in his tracks and waited for Audrey to say whatever she wanted to. Besides, this was the first time in a very long time that she had called him by his first name.

The entire time she called him Boss Dank and all that official stuff she did, he didn't like it, but Jerry Dank couldn't bring himself to tell her, he couldn't bring himself to be carefree around her, and it somewhat bothered him.

''You will find yourself a good girl, Jerry. One that you will like without any pressure from both of you,'' Audrey dared to say to Jerry Dank.

Jerry Dank turned around slowly to give Audrey Turnah one last look. Did it mean that she had the mind to also tell him an official goodbye? Why didn't she just watch him leave? Did she have to smear it in his face that they would not be together?

Jerry Dank nodded with sarcasm, and turned around to leave. This time, he didn't look back, and neither did Audrey Turnah call him back anymore.

Leopold Demp had thought it wise to leave the duo after Jerry Dank threatened to stop his investment in Leopold Demp's family company, and so as soon as Jerry Dank left, Audrey took out her phone and called Leopold again.

''You can come and take me to the airport now, he has left for good,'' Audrey said to Leopold Demp as soon as he picked up.
