Chapter 64 Hallucinations?
"Audrey, it's time for dinner, how can you eat biscuits?" Her colleague Jessica Hun said as she came out after changing clothes.
''Let's go, Let's have lunch together. Amy Bank and the others are going to reserve seats for us at the cafeteria,'' Jessica added.
"I won't have lunch with you today," Audrey Turnah replied.
She ate a few biscuits and felt much better.
"I have two friends who came to see me and made an appointment to eat out," she added.
She said so, pointing to the director's office where the sound of opera singing could be faintly heard.
"Why won't Doctor Greg go to dinner? Now he's listening to the opera," Audrey remarked.
Doctor Greg was usually the less active in eating, euphemistically saying that he was too old to be hungry.
"He ordered takeaway today, and he finished eating early," Jessica Hun replied.
She looked back at the director's office, mysteriously.
"I heard that today a big business tycoon came from abroad to see Doctor Greg for medical treatment. It seems that the tycoon's plane was delayed, so it was late. Doctor Greg has been waiting," Jessica Hun told Audrey.
Audrey Turnah exclaimed lightly, and didn't think it was anything unusual.
There were too many people who come to Doctor Greg for medical treatment.
The term "business tycoon" did not appeal to her. Her father and brother were all business tycoons.
By the time Audrey Turnah came out after changing her clothes, Jessica Hun had already left.
The opera was still playing in the director's office, babbling.
Apparently, the business tycoon hadn't arrived yet.
Seeing that it was almost time, Audrey Turnah packed her things and went downstairs. Before she could walk out of the hospital gate, she received a call from Leopold Demp.
"Audrey, what kind of lousy place did your friend book? it's hard to find even a parking space in this Banxi restaurant!" Leopold Demp complained.
"I've been driving around for more than ten minutes, and I can't find a place to park," he added.
"The more you go around, the more it turns you around," he continued.
Audrey Turnah kept on walking out.
"The dishes in this restaurant are the most authentic, Jessica also wants you to try the local specialties," she said to Leopold Demp as she walked.
"How many times have I been to this City, and you still let me taste the special dishes." Leopold Demp replied.
Leopold Demp got angry.
"Audrey, I'm really not interested in blind dates, and I'm not interested in your friend either. If you hadn't insisted that I come to see her, I wouldn't have come!" He whined angrily.
"Okay, okay, it's my fault, okay? Don't be angry, drive around quickly, maybe you will find a parking space,'' Audrey quickly said.
Audrey tried to comfort him.
"Let me tell you, Jessica listens to me talking about you all day long, and she has wanted to see you for a long time. Don't make a sullen face later, and don't give her a crude face," She said to Leopold.
Across a rose flower wall, on the other side of the city.
Collins Date and Jerry Dank were walking towards the hospital building. While walking, Collins Date introduced Dr. Greg to Jerry Dank..
"My father's friend said that Dr. Greg's family is from a family of local medicine. Although, he also studied western medicine. He is very good at treating headaches with the combination of local and western medicine," Collins Date said to Jerry Dank.
Jerry Dank's reaction was very flat, noncommittal.
If it wasn't for Collins Date's father asking friends to inquire about this doctor, Jerry Dank would not have been willing to make this trip.
He had seen many doctors in the past few years, but none of them could really cure his persistent headache.
What's more, after five years, he had long been used to the existence of this disease.
It's just that it was a little uncomfortable when the attack occured, and he sleep a little less than others.
But whether it was cured or not, he didn't care anymore.
"I checked a lot of information about Dr. Greg on the Internet. He is indeed very powerful, with many titles on him..." Collins Date continued to introduce the doctor, while Jerry Dank listened casually.
"Okay, okay, it's my fault, okay? Don't..." A girl's voice sounded faintly, and it was fleeting.
Jerry Dank's footsteps suddenly stopped.
Subconsciously he raised his eyes and looked to the other side, there were patches of rose flower walls with dense branches and leaves, and only a shadowy figure could be seen passing by in a hurry.
Jerry Dank strode around and ran around the flower wall, only to see the rose flowers trembling in the wind, where was the girl?
"What's the matter, Jerry?" Collins Date asked and chased after him.
"Why are you running so fast all of a sudden?" He added.
He glanced at the direction that Jerry Dank was staring at blankly, there was no one there, and he couldn't help wondering.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
Jerry Dank withdrew his gaze.
"It's nothing," he replied lightly.
The voice and figure he heard and saw just now must be his hallucinations.
Otherwise, it was just a coincidence that a girl happened to pass by with a voice similar to hers.
It had been five years since she passed away, how could it be, how could she appear in this hospital in this foreign City.
In the parking lot of Banxi Restaurant, Leopold Demp drove around for twenty minutes and finally found a parking space.
Just as he was about to stop the car, the phone rang, and it was his father calling.
"Where have you been and why can't we find you?" His father asked sternly immediately Leopold answered the call.
His father was obviously a little annoyed.
"Leopold, let me tell you, you are no longer a student, you can't afford to do everything according to your own temperament. You are now the vice president of Sharp Film and Television Group, and you are responsible for the company!'' Leopold Demp's father barked.
"Isn't that a lot of work pressure, so I came out to relax," Leopold Demp replied.
Then he smiled playfully.
"Dad, don't worry, I'll go back tomorrow night," he added.
"What do you mean by high work pressure? You are still under high pressure for your crap? Leopold, if you don't want to do it, you can just say it. There are many people fighting for the position of the vice president!" His father barked again.
"It's only for you tonight, you must come back! Otherwise, you won't be able to take the vice president seat. You can do whatever you like in the future, I don't care about you!" Mr. Demp said.
Leopold Demp's ears hurt from being yelled at by his father, and he was so depressed that he threw his mobile phone on the passenger seat, and just stopped the car.
A tiny Mini Cooper darted past his car and slid right into the parking space he was about to enter into.
Leopold Demp was upset about this, so he got out of the car with a sullen face and knocked on the other party's car glass.
"What do you mean? Didn't you see that I was parking here?" He asked.
The other party lowered the car window, revealing a delicate face with exquisite makeup.
"You lingered in front of this parking space for a long time and didn't go in, I thought you didn't stop," she replied.
"Who says I didn't stop?" Leopold Demp asked angrily.
"So it's not that you didn't want to stop, it's because your driving skills are too poor to stop, right?" she asked Leopold mischievously.
Leopold Demp was so angry that his face turned black.
"Who are you saying is poor in driving skills? It's because you don't follow the rules and grab the seat first, okay? You hurry up and let me in!" He told the girl, with an angry smirk.
He was a master of mountain racing when he was studying abroad, and this woman dared to say that his driving skills were poor, it was unbearable! !
The girl got out of the car with her bag in her hand, closed the car door with a bang, and pressed the lock button.
"He's pretty handsome, but he's not a gentleman at all," she said as she walked past Leopold Demp.
The girl sized Leopold Demp up and down with her flexible eyes.
"Don't you know that women come first?" She asked him.
Leopold Demp was startled by the girl's irrational logic, and was stunned for some seconds before he sneered.
"Gentleman? A gentleman depends on who he is. With a woman like you, who the hell is a gentleman to you!" He asked the girl back.
"What's wrong with you? I parked normally, what's wrong with you?" She asked, whining.
The girl was obviously also angry.
"What kind of woman am I, please speak clearly!" She said again.
Leopold Demp was too lazy for a worthless chit chat with her.
"Can you move the car?" He asked her affirmatively.
"I won't move it!" The girl crossed her hands, showing no sign of weakness.
"This parking space is public, you did not occupy it for a long time, and you have the guts to blame me for taking the spot?" She asked Leopold Demp.
