Chapter 72 A Walk At The Beach

"Because of you, Audrey often wakes up from nightmares. Jerry Dank, you really don't know how unlikable you are?" Leopold Demp said.

Audrey Turnah pulled Leopold Demp back.

"Leopold, stop talking,'' she said lightly.

"Is there anything you can't tell him? Audrey, don't be afraid, you have been hiding for five years, and there is no need to hide from him in the future. Let's open everything up and explain everything today!" Leopold Demp insisted.

When he thought about the years passed, Leopold really felt aggrieved, not only for Audrey Turnah and the Turnah family, but also for himself.

Originally, if the Dank family hadn't made such a fuss, he and Audrey Turnah would have studied abroad together, and returned to Bullen together after studying there.

There would have been no need to fly here and there in order to meet each other. As for the Turnah family, there would have been no need for them to start from scratch in a different place.

This reason sounded incredible.

But Jerry Dank knew that what Leopold Demp said was not groundless.

Back then, Audrey Turnah was in his arms, with her life hanging by a thread, but she still begged him desperately not to blame the Turnah family, and not to embarrass the Turnah family.

Although, Jerry Dank didn't know why Audrey Turnah was so sure that he would be able to embarrass the Turnah family in the future.

But, not to mention that Audrey Turnah blocked the knife for him, to save him, even if she didn't, he wouldn't be so indiscriminate as Leopold Demp said.

Peter Turnah had always been kind to the Dank family, but Audrey Turnah...

How could he take revenge on the Turnah family?

Jerry Dank remained silent, the anger in his heart gradually disappeared, replaced by an indescribable bitterness.

He thought that Audrey Turnah was willing to protect him with her body back then, but it now appeared somewhat different to him.

Before coming, he imagined many reasons for Audrey Turnah's fake death and leaving.

But he never thought that it would be Audrey Turnah who didn't want to have anything to do with him.

The bitterness and obsession that he had endured in these years seemed to have become a joke in an instant.

Even though his emotions were up and down violently, Jerry Dank's face still looked calm.

He looked at Audrey Turnah fixedly.

"In your heart, I'm that unreasonable person who doesn't know right from wrong?" He asked her.

The matter had come to this point, and it was indeed better to speak clearly and discuss every lingering issue.

Turnah raised her eyes slightly, and met his gaze calmly.

"I don't know, but I really didn't dare to risk my family's life," she replied.

"After all, what happened to the Baman family is obvious to all," she added slowly after a brief pause.

Jerry Dank felt a strange sense of absurdity in his heart.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

When he opened it again, there was only a lonely darkness in his eyes, and there was no extra emotion left.

He looked at Audrey Turnah.

"I heard that the seaside scenery in this Mullan City is beautiful. Audre, why don't you walk with me?" He requested.

It seemed to be just a question, but it carried an undeniable meaning.

Audrey Turnah didn't know what Jerry Dank wanted to do, but at this moment, his strange calm made her feel a little uneasy.

Leopold Demp protected her.

"Audrey, don't go with him, this is not Bullen City, how dare he take you away forcibly?" He said to Audrey.

Collins Dates sighed, and his tone was as gentle as possible.

"Miss Turnah, don't worry, Jerry will never hurt you. You can just accompany him for a walk, if there is any misunderstanding, you can just make it clear," he said to Audrey Turnah.

In the past five years, only Collins Dates knew what Jerry Dank lived in perpetual regret for Audrey Turnah's death.

Unexpectedly, they heard that Audrey Turnah didn't die at all, and no one could bear it.

If others that Audrey dared to lie to Jerry Dank like this, the consequences would be extremely tragic.

But Jerry Dank hadn't said a single harsh word to Audrey Turnah until now.

He just wanted Audrey Turnah to accompany him for a walk. This request was really not too much.

Audrey Turnah hesitated.

"Aren't you afraid that I will retaliate against the Turnah family? Then accompany me on this trip,'' Jerry Dank said to her slowly.

"Jerry Dank, don't forget that Audrey saved your life! Yet, you threaten her like this, are you still human?" Leopold Demp asked angrily.

He was furious.

"Audrey won't go with you today, what will you do?" He asked.

Jerry Dank didn't speak, but Collins Date turned around and waved, and several bodyguards in black came over in the corridor.

"Damn, you came here and brought bodyguards?" Leopold Demp inquired in shock.

Leopold Demp was also convinced.

"Jerry Dank, just don't say that Audrey can not be afraid of you, can she not avoid you?" He asked. He was very upset.

"The bodyguards are not targeting Miss Turnah, they are targeting you, Mr. Demp," Collins Date revealed.

"Mr. Demp, please go inside and have a good rest," he said lightly.

Leopold Demp's face turned dark, and when he was about to speak, Audrey Turnah stopped him.

"Leopold, you go in first, I will go with him and be back soon enough,'' Audrey said to Leopold.

"But Audrey..." Leopold whined.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen,'' Audrey assured Leopold Demp.

"Didn't Mr. Date say that Mr. Shen will not hurt me?" Audre added.

Since he wanted her to walk with him, then she will walk with him.

As Collins Date said, there are some things that had to be straightened out.

The city of Mullan was near the sea, and on both sides of the seaside promenade, there were full of fiery red phoenix flowers, which complemented each other with the setting sun in the sky, forming a beautiful rose red.

Children were chasing and playing on the beach, and the waves gently surged onto the beach and receded gently, leaving a wet mark on the soft sand.

There was an unusual sunset by the sea in Mullan city, quiet, peaceful and warm.

Audrey Turnah followed behind Jerry Dank, and the two walked silently.

Jerry Dank never said anything, and Audrey Turnah kept silent in a timely manner.

She sneaked a peek at Jerry Dank, and remembered the last time she saw him and met him on the streets of Bullen.

There were people coming and going on the street, and he stood there with a cool and isolated aura.

Unexpectedly, after five years, this aura in his body had become a hundred times stronger, not only cold, but also silent.

The lifeless stillness with the heart as dry as wood and ashes.

Audrey Turnah didn't know what happened to him in the past five years.

It stood to reason that he was now successful in his career. If he ranked second in the domestic mobile phone communication industry, no one would dare to say that he is number one.

He and his childhood sweetheart, Elizabeth Coker, had such a good relationship, even if they were not married now, it should be soon after, thinking about it.

As for his father, Henry Dank, although his legs were disabled, the medical technology was so advanced, after installing prosthetic limbs, after rehabilitation training, he could walk like a normal person.

Even the burn scars on his face could undergo scar repair surgery, and there will be no major problems in appearance.

Audrey Turnah really couldn't figure out why Jerry Dank had a bad life.

The two walked along the beach silently for a long time.

Jerry Dank finally stopped, turned around, and stared at the girl beside him.

After not seeing her for five years, her eyebrows and eyes were vaguely the same as before, they had changed somewhat.

Five years ago, she looked like a real wealthy young lady, she even dressed like a princess, like a delicate flower raised in a greenhouse, bright and beautiful, but fragile and easy to break.

Five years later, she was dressed in a clean denim white T-shirt, her long hair was tied into a ponytail, she was pure, capable, simple, and her eyes were clear and firm.

She grew up, in a city he couldn't see.

The sea breeze blew slowly, and there was a bit of unconscious tenderness in his eyes,

"Audrey Turnah, how have you been these five years?" Jerry Dank asked.

Audrey Turnah was biting the bullet to bear Jerry Dank's gaze, not knowing what he wanted to do.

Hearing his words suddenly, she was slightly taken aback, did she hear correctly?

Jerry Dank actually asked her if she had been doing well in the past few years?

She raised her eyes and met his strange gaze, and for some reason, her heart skipped a beat.
