Chapter 57 It's Time To Leave
Charles Turnah was unwilling, but Peter Turnah agreed.
Nothing was important to Peter Turnah anymore, the most important thing was to have more hope to help find and retrieve his daughter.
Charles Turnah never thought that the kidnappers brought Audrey to Craylow Island.
Earlier, because of the Dank family's car accident involving Charles Turnah, the opening of Craylow Island was suspended.
After Charles Turnah was released from prison, he was exhausted for the 100 billion USD project land in the east of the city, and the resumption of the Craylow Island project was nowhere in sight.
Even the employees on the island had been dismissed, and it was truly deserted.
Audrey Turnah didn't know what the kidnappers wanted to do.
After she was sent to a near-abandoned hotel room, the gang disappeared from her sight.
But Audrey knew that they hadn't left and had been guarding her outside the door.
Occasionally, she could hear one of them talking in a low voice.
Someone regularly brought her meals, but refused to talk to her.
Audrey Turnah's cell phone was confiscated and she couldn't contact anyone.
Looking out the window, the east was getting whiter, and the sky was filled with rays of light, and she didn't dare to think about the chaos at home.
Audrey could only pray that Abel was safe, and that her father and brother were all safe.
She kept track of the sunrise and sunset to keep track of time.
It seemed that when she was locked up for the fourteenth day, at night, the leader of the kidnappers appeared in a black outfit and knocked her out.
When Audrey Turnah woke up, she was at the dark seaside.
The night was dark and there was no one around.
She struggled to get up and ran desperately towards the place where the lights were on.
On the way, she met a kind driver who took her back to the city.
When Peter Turnah saw his daughter coming home, he couldn't believe his eyes.
He was ecstatic, and father and daughter hugged each other and wept.
"Audrey, if you want to leave Bullen, I will arrange it right away," Peter Turnah said to his daughter.
But in just over ten days, Peter Turnah's hair was already gray, and he was more than ten years older.
"Give me some time, and I will deal with the property here as soon as possible,'' Peter Turnah said to Audrey with tears in his eyes.
After Audrey Turnah came back, she was silent for a while.
Facing her father's decision, she reacted calmly without much surprise.
Peter Turnah only thought that she was a little irritated by being locked up for so long.
However, he was somewhat relieved to hear that his daughter was not bullied except for her freedom being restricted during her detention.
Charles Turnah kept putting pressure on the police, wanting the police to find out the group of people who kidnapped Audrey Turnah.
But how would they find them?
The matter turned out to be an unsolved case.
Not long after, two big news broke out in Bullen.
One was that the Phoenix (Phoenix) technology company founded by Jerry Dank held a press conference and released a brand new mobile phone chip.
This chip had better performance and lower price than the one original one bought by Walmade Group.
The previously booming chip industry of Walmade Group was immediately affected.
Jerry Dank refused to discuss business with the Baman family.
Instead, every partner was a competitor of the Baman family, except of course the Turnah family.
Jeremiah Baman looked gloomy.
"I underestimated Jerry Dank, he actually has such a talented son," Jeremiah Baman said.
In such a short period of time, he made it possible to re-develop a chip that completely surpassed the old one.
If he was allowed to develop advanced chips at will, how could the Baman family still exist in the mobile phone market in the future?
Another big news was that the Turnah family had begun to sell a large number of properties, preparing to leave Bullen.
This news was obviously more explosive than the former, and it spread across the Internet in an instant, shocking public opinion.
Charles Turnah couldn't accept that his father gave up the Turnah family's foundation and was going to leave Bullen just because of his sister's dream.
He had a big fight with Peter Turnah because of this, but in the end he couldn't change the result.
The day before leaving Bullen, Audrey Turnah called Leopold Demp.
"Are you ready?" She asked Leopold.
"Ready,'' Leopold replied warily.
Leopold Demp's expression was complicated.
"Audrey, do you really want to do this? What if you are in danger then, what would you do?" He asked Audrey.
When Audrey Turnah came back after disappearing, Leopold Demp was even more obedient to her, for fear that if he didn't pay attention, he would never see Audrey Turnah again.
But that was as much as it could get, even though he did as Audrey Turnah said, he was very disturbed.
"No, don't worry. As long as you take good care of Charles, Jeremiah Baman won't dare to do anything to me," Audrey Turnah said with a smile.
When Audrey Turnah appeared in Jeremiah Baman's office, Jeremiah Baman's expression darkened.
"What are you doing here?" He asked Audrey.
"I want to ask you a question,'' Audrey Turnah said to Jeremiah Baman.
Jeremiah Baman glanced at his assistant Benjamin Guru.
"Benjamin, you go and do what I arranged for you first," He said to his assistant.
Benjamin Guru nodded, and closed the door behind him when he went out.
"You'd better make sure that your question is worth my time to listen to," Jeremiah Baman said to Audrey.
Jeremiah Baman picked up the tea cup in front of him, blew on it, and took a sip of tea.
"Otherwise, even if you are Peter Turnah's daughter, I will make you pay the price," he said.
Audrey Turnah smiled slightly.
"Haven't you already made me pay the price? You imprisoned me in Craylow Island for fourteen days, isn't that enough?" Audrey asked Jeremiah Baman.
Jeremiah Baman suddenly stopped drinking tea.
