Chapter 39 Brain Hemmorhage

"Audrey, don't worry about me too much. I'm fine here, I am eating, and resting well.''

Across the thick barricaded glass of the visiting room, Charles Turnah smiled and said to Audrey.

"It's more comfortable here, than going to work,'' he added.

Audrey Turnah looked at her brother's obviously haggard face, and her nose became a little sour.

She remembered that nightmare that she had. In the dream, she spoke to Leopold Demp through the barricaded glass of the visiting room.

It's just that in reality, the person behind the barricaded glass had become a brother.

"Why are you crying? I really thinks it's good here," Charles Turnah told Audrey.

He tried as hard as he could and comforted Audrey.

"Don't worry, I didn't kill anyone. When the police investigates clearly, I'll be able to go out soon and be reunited with you and dad," Charles also said.

Audrey Turnah nodded with red eyes.

"Charles, take care of yourself," she said and got up to leave.

Audrey Turnah came out of the detention center with a heavy heart.

Although the Turnah group had hired the best lawyer for Charles Turnah, the results of the police investigation will not be released for another day, and it was difficult for her to truly feel relieved even though it seemed likely that her brother would be released.

The housekeeper, Abel, kindly opened the car door for Audrey Turnah.

"Miss, get in the car,'' he said to her gently.

Abel Marila, was Peter Turnah's bodyguard and driver when he was young, and he was the only person Peter Turnah trusted most.

When Peter Turnah first became in charge of the Turnah family group, he acted too aggressively, didn't understand everything, and offended many people.

Someone was hell-bent on troubling Peter Turnah on one occasion.

In the middle of the night, Peter Turnah came out of the hotel to talk with a group of people, and ended up being chased by a dozen people with knives.

In order to save Peter Turnah, Abel was seriously injured and almost lost his life.

He and Peter Turnah had a faithful friendship.

Later, when Abel became a little older, Peter Turnah asked Abel to be the housekeeper to take care of the family affairs.

Today, Audrey Turnah came to see her brother.

She could have called the driver, but Abel also wanted to see Charles Turnah, so he drove Audrey Turnah by himself.

"Your brother has lost weight, but he is in good spirits," Abel said to Audrey.

When Abel took Audrey Turnah to the prison visiting room, he took the opportunity to glance at Charles Turnah, and became somewhat relieved.

The two children of the Turnah family were like his own children.

Since Charles Turnah had been in prison, Abel had been unable to eat or sleep well.

''Are you going back home or going to the company?" Abel asked Audrey on their way out.

"Let's go to the company,'' Audrey replied after thinking about it for a while.

She wanted to meet her father and tell him about Charles' situation.

By the way, she also wanted to ask the lawyer of the company what the chances of winning this case were.

The car galloped all the way, and the sky at this time was dusk, a bit like the early morning when it was not yet clear.

Audrey Turnah looked at the flashing scenery outside the window, and for some reason she was a little dazed.

In a trance, she was in a dream.

She rushed back from abroad overnight, and Abel drove to the airport to pick her up.

As soon as she got home, she saw with her own eyes... the tragic fall of her father.

Audrey Turnah felt a strong uneasiness in her heart.

"Abel, please drive faster," Audrey said.

Abel agreed, and the speed on the dashboard soared instantly.

Still some distance from the company, Audrey Turnah saw an ambulance parked in front of the group.

Two people in white coats, carrying a stretcher on which the person was lying, came out of the company and trotted hurriedly towards the ambulance.

The distance was too far, and Audrey couldn't see who was on the stretcher, but she could clearly see that Angela looked anxious and followed beside the stretcher almost in a panic.

She was following the person on the stretcher, into the ambulance vehicle.

Audrey Turnah's heart sank.

Abel also noticed that something was wrong, and the car accelerated and swayed its tail, and stopped by the side of the ambulance.

Seeing Audrey Turnah, Angel almost started to cry.

"Miss, Mr. Turnah just fainted!" Angela said.

Audrey Turnah took a few steps to get into the ambulance car.

Her father on the stretcher had his eyes closed and his face was pale.

Audrey's voice was trembling, and when she spoke, it didn't sound like her voice.

"Doctor, what's wrong with my dad?" She asked.

"Brain hemorrhage," the doctor replied.

The doctor didn't lift his head, while talking, he gave Peter Turnah an oxygen first aid and measured his blood pressure.

Audrey Turnah's small face suddenly turned pale, and there was no blood at all.

In the dream, Henry Dank collapsed due to sudden cerebral hemorrhage because of the bankruptcy of the Dank family, and he died after being rescued.

Unexpectedly, now her father was suffering from the same disease!

"During this period, the company's stock has fallen tremendously. Many of the originally scheduled projects had to be cancelled because of those negative public opinions. Some partners did not just breach the contract, but also terminated the contract," Angela narrated to Audrey.

She had tears in her eyes.

"Mr. Turnah is exhausted for the company, he is so tired..." she added.

Audrey Turnah shivered, holding her father's cold hand tightly.

''Don't worry, dad, you will be okay,'' she muttered.

Peter Turnah was rushed to the emergency room. After six hours of surgery, Audrey Turnah finally received the good news.

"The patient is fine and out of danger," the doctor said.

Audrey Turnah's extremely tight string suddenly loosened, and she couldn't stand, as if she had lost her strength.

She stayed in the hospita; ward that night, guarding her father all night. The next day, Peter Turnah finally woke up.
