Chapter 58 Jeremiah Baman's Confession

He stared at Audrey Turnah, and his eyes became colder.

"I don't understand what you're talking about. Audrey Turnah, do you know that you can go to jail for slander?" Jeremiah Baman asked.

"Don't speak dark words in front of people who know you well. When the man in black who guarded me made a phone call at night, I heard with my own ears that he called the other party Mr. Baman!" Audrey replied coldly.

Although, the man's voice was extremely low, and he probably thought that Audrey was asleep.

But she was extremely nervous, almost sleepless all night, and was extremely sensitive to the slightest movement around her, so she naturally heard the man's voice call Mr Baman.

Jeremiah Baman's expression finally changed.

"Audrey Turnah, what exactly do you want to do?" He asked.

"I said, I just want to ask you a question," Audre replied.

"But before that, I want you to watch a video," she added.

She handed the phone to Jeremiah Baman, and clicked on the video in the album.

In the video, Charles Baman was tied up, his face was covered with blood, he looked terrified, and howled in pain that didn't sound like a human being.

Jeremiah Baman slammed down his teacup and got up furiously.

"Audrey Turnah! If anything happens to Charles, I will let you be buried with him!" He said to Audrey angrily.

Audrey shallowly pursed her lips.

"As long as you answer my question truthfully, Charles will be fine," she replied.

Jeremiah Baman suppressed his anger and stared at Audrey Turnah.

"What do you want to ask?!" He said to her sternly.

"My question is simple," Audrey replied.

"Charles maxed out several cards during his travels in Europe, and later I lent him a supplementary card from Swiss Bank. When he asked you to deposit money in it and return it to me, did you pass through my card? Through my card, have you sent money to someone else?" Audrey asked Jeremiah Baman.

"The money was paid twice to the same person, one time 10 million USD, and one more time 30 million USD, a total of 40 million USD," Audrey Turnah said calmly.

Jeremiah Baman didn't know why she had to repeat the amount so clearly.

He frowned.

"Who did you transfer money from your card to? You don't know, so you come and ask me?" Jeremiah Baman asked impatiently.

"Mr. Baman!" Audrey yelped.

"I told you, you'd better answer truthfully. Don't forget, Charles is still waiting," Audrey said with her voice raised.

Jeremiah Baman was very bothered.

He had asked people to transfer money to the maintenance worker in order to instigate him to try to tamper with Marcus Coker's brakes, so that Marcus Coker and Henry Dank would die.

The police had already made a conclusion about the car accident, and the maintenance worker also died. Even if Audrey Turnah knew about the remittance, she would have nothing to investigate, as there was no proof of death.

Having made up his mind, Jeremiah Baman's eyes flashed wickedly.

"I am indeed the person who sent people to pay the money in,'' He said to Audrey.

"Why did you pay 40 million USD to a maintenance worker?" Audrey asked.

"Was it to let him tamper with Marcus Coker's car, so as to plan a car accident and take the opportunity to seize Dank's chip?" She asked again.

Jeremiah Baman's face was strangely ugly, and there was a killing intent in his eyes.

"Audrey Turnah, I'm sorry I can't answer that question!" he replied to Audrey.

A smile appeared on Audrey Turnah's face.

"It's okay. The answer I want has already been asked and answered," she replied.

Where is Charles?'' Jeremiah Baman sternly asked.

"Tomorrow morning, I will leave Bullen with my family. When I am safe at where I am going, Charles will come back naturally," Audrey replied.

After she finished saying this, she turned and left.

She went downstairs and got into her family's car which was waiting on the side of the road.

After the car drove away, Audrey Turnah took out another mobile phone that was always on recording from her pocket.

"Jerry Dank, did you hear that? That is the truth," Audrey Turnah said softly.

"It was not me, nor the Turnah family, but Jeremiah Baman who remitted the 40 million USD to the maintenance worker," Audrey explained.

On the other end of the phone line, there was silence for a long time.

"Where are you now? I want to see you," Jerry eventually said after a long time of keeping quiet. His voice was strange and hoarse.

Audrey Turnah glanced out the window.

"I'm on my way. Why don't you tell me your location, and I'll come find you," she said.

She was leaving Bullen the next day, so she knew that there were some things she had to make clear to Jerry Dank.

If the Turnah family owed the Dank family anything, it would only be due to the unintentional mistakes of the Turnah family hospital, which led to the death of Mrs. Dank.

The Turnah family had already paid enough for this.

What should be paid off was almost all paid off.

Jerry Dank had received Leopold Demp's call for help that night, and tried to help find Audrey Turnah's family to no avail.

Soon, he saw reports from the media that Audrey Turnah had returned home safely.

Even Jerry Dank himself didn't realize that the string in his subconscious that had always been tense was completely loosened up to this point.

He would never seen Audrey Turnah again, and it seemed that there would be no need for them to see each other again.

Jerry Dank had become very busy.

The company had just started now, he had too many things to do, too many businesses, and he needed to do them by himself.

After the chip conference, Jerry Dank saw overwhelming news that the Turnah family had started to sell a lot of properties and was about to leave Bullen.

He finally couldn't help it, and checked the situation on the Internet about the Turnah family during this period.
