Chapter 36 I Will Not Let Him Go

Henry Dank's face softened slightly.

"By the way, take her to the supermarket to buy some fruit snacks that she likes to eat," he said to Jerry.

Jerry Dank hurried downstairs, walking quickly.

It was not until he left the estate and saw the figure standing on the side of the road that he breathed a sigh of relief and strode over.

"Audrey," Jerry called.

Audrey Turnah raised her head, and locked her eyes in with Jerry Dank, both of them stunned.

Jerry didn't expect to see her to crying so sadly, her face was full of tears and her eyes were red.

Also, Audrey Turnah didn't expect Jerry to appear suddenly, so she hurriedly wiped away her tears.

"I'm sorry about what my father said. He's just hurt," Jerry said as soon as he saw Audrey in this mood.

Since the car accident and the death of his mother, his father's temperament had become more surly, and his temper was much more grumpy than before.

"It's okay. I know your father was angry for a while, that's why he said that,'' Audrey replied.

Jerry Dank was silent for a moment, then he looked at Audrey closely.

"I'll take a look at your information." he suddenly said.

If he were being honest, Jerry Dank was not particularly concerned about the information that Audrey had for him.

It's just that she made a special trip to deliver it, so, for some reason, he didn't want to disappoint her.

Audrey hurriedly handed it to him, and under the light of the street lamp, Jerry Dank quickly flipped through the documents.

The more he looked at the documents, the more serious Jerry Dank's face became.

"I will communicate with my father concerning the business we have ongoing with the Bamna family,'' he said.

Audrey Turnah was somewhat relieved, and Jerry Dank could finally understand her painstaking efforts.

"Whether you do business with them or not, you and your father just have to be careful,'' Audrey told him.

Her mood was a little better at the moment, she took out her mobile phone and called a taxi to go home.

"By the way, I saw the news on the Internet that you were admitted to Bullen University, congratulations," Audrey suddenly remembered this, and said to Jerry Dank.

Jerry Dank hummed lightly.

Too many things had happened in the recent past, Henry Dank's legs were paralyzed, and the company's affairs needed someone to take care of it. Naturally, Jerry Dank could no longer study abroad.

He participated in the college entrance examination with Elizabeth Coker not long ago, and was admitted to Bullen University with a high score of the state college entrance examination champion.

Bullen University was considered a first-class university in the country.

Although the international ranking was not as good as that of Harvard and Oxford, it was fortunate that the school attached great importance to his application and promised to give him enough favorable conditions.

If there was a need at home, he could even graduate early without going to school, as long as he completed the credits.

Neither of them spoke any further, and each stood silently and thoughtfully.

The taxi soon arrived, and Audrey Turnah was about to get in the car when Jerry Dank stopped her.

"Thank you for the information," he said to her gently.

"You're welcome," Audrey replied, pursing her lips.

Jerry Dank watched the vehicle drive off, turned around, and saw Elizabeth Coker dragging her suitcase, standing not far away.

Elizabeth Dank's expression was strangely complicated.

"Jerry, it's so late, why are you with Audrey?" Elizabeth asked.

"She's here to deliver some materials to us," Jerry Dank replied hastily.

He walked over and took the suitcase from Elizabeth.

"Let's go, I'll take you to the supermarket later to buy something to eat," Jerry said to her.

Elizabeth twisted the corners of her clothes with her fingers and didn't move.

"Jerry, your father hates Peter Turnah and his son to death. Are you still in contact with Audrey?" She asked with shyness.

If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she wouldn't believe that Jerry Dank could face Audrey Turnah so calmly, as if the unhappiness with the Turnah family had never happened.

"She is Audrey, and she is not her father, neither is she her brother,'' Jerry Dank replied.

"But she is Peter Turnah's daughter, and Charles Turnah is her brother," Elizabeth said emphatically.

She had tears in her eyes.

"My dad is dead, my mom is gone, and the murderer has not been punished yet. Jerry, I don't understand, how can you still communicate with Audrey Turnah? If your father knew about it, what would he think?" Elizabeth asked with pity.

"It is not confirmed yet. We still need to investigate if the murderer is actually the Turnah family," Jerry Dank said.

Elizabeth Coker bit her lip and said nothing.

Elizabeth believed in the testimonial video her father took before his death, and Henry Dank felt the same way.

But Jerry was still unwilling to believe that the Turnah family are the murderers.

Was it because of Audrey Turnah?

That night, Jerry Dank and Henry Dank solemnly discussed the business they had ongoing with Walmade Group.

"Did Audrey Turnah say something to you again? Jerry, the Turnah family are all raccoon dogs. They are all uneasy and kind. You'd better stay away from her!" Henry Dank suddenly said to Jerry Dank, out of the context.

"She doesn't have to say anything, I can easily find this information on the Internet. Jeremiah Baman is indeed not a good person,'' Jerry Dank said to his father.

"Accepting the investment from the Baman family is tantamount to bringing a wolf into the house. The business deal between the company and the other Group should be done with caution," he added.

"The business deal with the Baman family is imperative! Jeremiah Baman might be a wolf, but I am not vegetarian. It's not that easy for him to annex our company,'' Henry Dank replied with gusto.

Henry Dank couldn't listen to the persuasion at all, and his eyes were gloomy.

"Just because of the Turnah family, Marcus is dead, your mother is dead, I am disfigured, and my legs are gone, I will never let Peter Turnah go free, even if I am slashed all over. I will not let him go!'' Henry Dank said with anger in his eyes.
