Chapter 26 It's Too Late

Even Jeremy Cosmos didn't know much about the R&D process and related stories in the middle, so how could Jerry Dank explain clearly?

Jeremy Cosmos wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Master Jerry Dank, can I call you that?'' He asked Jerry.

Jerry nodded.

''That's it. At our press conference, President Dank originally planned to introduce this chip and the R&D story behind it in detail, which will involve a lot of technical terms," he said to Jerry.

"From the research and development to the production of this chip, it took President Dank nearly four years before to arrive at this chip, and there were many twists and turns. Even we don't know it. Maybe, maybe only President Dank knows the inside story..." Jeremy euphemistically said.

"I participated in the research and development of this chip," Jerry Dank said lightly.

Jeremy Cosmos' face was full of disbelief, and he wanted to say something else.

Jerry Dank frowned.

"You don't need to worry about the chip. I just need you to complete the task I gave you," he said.

He glanced at Jeremy Cosmos, and his eyes were very cold.

"If you can't finish it, I will replace you as soon as possible," Jerry added.

Jeremy Cosmos, a middle-aged man in his forties, was stunned by the decisive aura of the young man in front of him.

Even when facing Henry Dank, he was never so shocked.

He didn't even dare to call Jerry Dank's name again, so he hurriedly bowed out.

"I'll go back to the company now and make sure to complete the task," he said.

Jeremy Cosmos took the middle managers and rushed back to the company that night.

"Jerry Dank, in fact, my dad can help you with the venue. I..." Audrey started to say softly.

"No need," Jerry replied abruptly.

He interrupted her.

"If Jeremy Cosmos can't solve this trivial matter, nobody else would do it,'' Jerry added.

He turned back and looked deeply at Henry Dank, who was still lying on the hospital bed in the intensive care room, and his eyes darkened.

After a while, he retracted his gaze and strode in front of Elizabeth Coker.

"I'll take you home," he said to her.

Hearing the word home, Elizabeth Coker's tears couldn't stop flowing.

"Jerry, I don't have a father anymore, I don't have a home anymore..." Elizabeth cried.

Jerry Dank was silent for a while, then said in a hoarse voice, "My home will be your home in the future. I will take good care of you."

Elizabeth Coker's crying intensified.

She finally got up.

"I'll go back by myself, you stay in the hospital with your father,'' Elizabeth got up and said.

"The information for the chip is at home,'' Jerry Dank replied.

"I'll take you back. It's the same thing with if I take the computer and come back. Let's go," Jerry Dank insisted.

Elizabeth Coker wiped away her tears and nodded.

The two walked out silently, and Jerry Dank looked back to see Audrey Turnah standing silently in the distance, and asked coldly, "Audrey, are you still leaving?"

Her face was really bad.

Audrey was surprised.

He just said to send Elizabeth Coker home, she thought she was not among them.

The driver who sent them earlier was arranged by Charles Turnah.

Because Audrey Turnah said that she would stay in the hospital, the driver had already left.

Jerry Dank beckoned to a taxi and told the driver his destination.

"No. 1 Alby Villa," Jerry Dank said.

No. 1 Alby Villa was Audrey Turnah's home.

Two days ago, he went there with his father, so he knew where her house was.

"Don't go here, go to Jayla Community," Audrey Turnah hurriedly asked the driver to change the address.

She had sent Elizabeth Coker home before, and she still remembered the location.

The driver was a little confused.

"Where are you going?" He asked impatiently.

"Go to Jayla community first, then go to Alby." Audrey Turnah hurriedly replied.

Jerry Dank tilted his head and glanced at Audrey Turnah.

"Elizabeth is not in a good state, so I'd better send her back to rest early,'' Audrey explained with a low voice.

Jerry Dank didn't say anything.

''Take us to Jayla community,'' Jerry said to the driver.

The car galloped through the empty streets and soon arrived at the Jayla community.

Audrey Turnah didn't get out of the car, and watched Jerry Dank and Elizabeth Coker enter the community.

Jerry Dank took a few steps, then turned around again, and saw Audrey Turnah leaning on the side of the car window, looking at them eagerly.

When she met his gaze, she panicked.

"I...I'll go now," she said.

"Just wait for me here,'' Jerry Dank replied.

"I'll come down soon,'' Jerry Dank said with a deep voice.

Elizabeth Coker was slightly surprised, and Audrey Turnah was also stunned.

Jerry Dank's face was expressionless.

"It's not safe at night, don't let anything happen to you, your father will hold me responsible,'' he said.

Okay, I'll just wait for you," Audrey replied.

Ten minutes later, Jerry Dank came down with the computer and a large pile of materials.

Do you have to read all these materials?" Audrey Turnah asked.

"Yes,'' Jerry Dank responded briefly.

These papers basically record the research and development ideas and difficulties of this chip in the past four years.

Some were manuscripts left by his father, and some were codes that he wrote out in class in the past. Later, after discussing with his father, they were gradually updated and finalized.

Jerry Dank had watched his father think about it and saw that he was very distressed to come up with it, so he did his father a favor and forgot about it after writing.

Now that they were going to explain the story about the chip, it was natural to review it comprehensively.

"Isn't that a lot of work?" Audre Turnah asked. She was a little worried.

"You still have to make a power point presentation ," she added.

Moreover, the part of the mobile phone product information that Jeremy Cosmos was responsible for, should be familiar with him in the shortest possible time.

"It's okay," Jerry Dank said in a low voice.
