Chapter 50 Where Is Audrey?
"Jerry!" Elizabeth said and rushed over to greet him.
"Why did you come so early, didn't you say you would pick me up at nine o'clock?" She asked.
"Is it early?" Jerry looked at the time and said lightly.
"It's exactly nine o'clock," he added.
Elizabeth Coker couldn't help laughing.
"Then you're pretty punctual," she said.
She came here today to see someone dear to her, and now that she had seen her, her words had shown that the suppressed emotions in her heart had been released a lot, and she could not help but feel much better.
She remembered Audrey Turnah's words about "taking the initiative", pretended to hold Jerry's hand unintentionally, lowered her head, and was a little afraid to look at him.
"Then let's go back, this party means nothin," Elizabeth said.
Jerry Dank's eyes fell on Elizabeth Coker's hand that was holding him, his black pupils were deep.
In the past when Elizabeth Coker was young, he often held her hand and took care of her as his sister everywhere.
But now that they were older, it was inexplicably weird to hold hands like this, and it subconsciously made Jerry Dank feel a little uncomfortable repulsion.
He walked a few steps silently, then pulled out his hand calmly.
"I'll call a taxi," he said.
Elizabeth was very disappointed, and her desire to confess her love suddenly cooled down.
When the car was driving back, Leopold Demp suddenly called Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth, did you see Audrey?" He asked.
Elizabeth was slightly surprised.
"Didn't she look for you? Didn't you see her?" She asked Leopold.
"Look for me? I went out with Jeremiah to buy something for Mercy, and I came back soon, and now I am looking for her. Besides, won't she call me if she wants to look for me. Why is the phone turned off?" Leopold Demp asked.
He clearly didn't believe Elizabeth Coker, and his tone was a little anxious.
"Didn't she just chat with you in the garden? You don't know where she went?" Leopold asked.
Elizabeth was not stupid.
When Audrey received Mercy Cun's phone call, she immediately guessed that Mercy Cun deliberately dismissed everyone and tricked Audrey away.
Could it be that Mercy Cun wanted to embarrass Audrey?
With this thought, Elizabeth Coker felt her heart beat a little faster.
Originally, she should have told Leopold truthfully about Audrey's whereabouts.
But by accident, Elizabeth Coker didn't give in.
"I don't know, Jerry came to pick me up, I'm already on my way," she said.
Originally, Leopold was planning to hang up the phone, but when he heard Jerry Dank's name, his nerves tensed up immediately.
"Give the phone to Jerry Dank," he said to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth hesitated for a moment, then handed over the phone.
It was very quiet in the car, and Jerry Dank had already heard the conversation between Leopold and Elizabeth clearly.
"Jerry, is Audrey really not with you?" Leopold Demp asked with a nasty attitude that was full of suspicion.
''No,'' Jerry Dank said lightly.
"If you can't find her, you can check the surveillance,'' Jerry Dank suggested after a brief pause.
Leopold Demp thought so too.
There were surveillance cameras around the Clubhouse, if Jerry Dank really wanted to do something to Audrey, he probably wouldn't dare.
Finding Audrey was the most important thing, and Leopold Demp didn't care about what to say, immediately, he hung up the phone and went to watch the surveillance.
Jerry Dank sat quietly for a while, and clicked on a certain software on his phone.
He had hacked into the central control system of the Prosperous Age Club before, and now it was easy for him to hack again.
Jerry Dank remembered that the direction where Audrey ran ran anxiously towards, was the main building of clubhouse.
With little effort, he found Audrey in the surveillance.
She walked quickly and looked very anxious.
She ran all the way, passed through the crowd, and stood in front of a private room.
The door opened, she walked in, and a man's face poked out, looking around vigilantly, and then the door was quickly closed.
The clubhouse was a high-end club in Bullen, the guests there were either rich or noble, but there were also some dignified and well-dressed beasts.
For some reason, Jerry Dank remembered one particular night.
When he and Collins Dates came to the clubhouse to look for Long John, a disheveled woman escaped from Long John's room in a panic, her eyes were full of fear like seeing a ghost, and her body and face were covered with scars after being whipped.
Jerry Dank called Leopold Demp.
Leopold Demp on the other end was anxious to death, he didn't save Jerry Dank's cell phone number, when he saw that it was an unfamiliar call, he thought it was a spam call, so he just cut it off.
Listening to the "beep" sound coming from the mobile phone, Jerry Dank was silent for a moment, before finally speaking in a deep voice.
"Driver, pull over and stop," he ordered the taxi driver.
Elizabeth Coker looked at Jerry Dank in disbelief.
"Jerry, are you going to find Audrey?" She asked him.
Jerry Dank didn't answer.
"You go home first,'' he said to Elizabeth with a deep voice.
He quickly got out of the car and flagged another taxi.
Elizabeth followed him out of the car, and hissed.
"Jerry, Audrey is gone, Leopold will look for her, why should you meddle in her business?" She asked with envy.
Jerry Dank turned back with no emotion in his pitch-black eyes.
"I'll be back soon," he said calmly.
Seeing the car speeding away, Elizabeth Coker seemed to have fallen into icy water in winter, and her whole body was completely cold.
What she feared finally became a reality.
Fortunately, just now, she was crying and begging Audrey Turnah not to take Jerry Dank away.
But she didn't want to, and Jerry had unknowingly turned to Audrey Turnah's side.
Knowing that the Turnah family had a lot to do with the car accident, knowing that the Turnah family killed her father.
