Chapter 41 Finally The Truth

When the investigation was at a stalemate, the police received news that the evidence was conclusive.

There was no evidence to prove that the car accident was related to Charles Turnah.

In the car accident, Marcus Coker was seriously speeding.

His last words were that there was a problem with the brakes, but because the car exploded and caught fire in the accident, it was impossible to detect the brake problem.

The police retrieved Marcus Coker's whereabouts and surveillance video for the past few days, and did not find any suspicious persons who must have done any altercations in his car.

Even a few days before the incident, his car was sent to the mechanic for maintenance and repair, and the maintenance records of the mechanic clearly showed that his car was in normal condition.

Charles Turnah instructed Long John to embarrass the Dank family by taking advantage of the venue problem.

At most, it could only be revenge for personal gain, which did not constitute criminal responsibility; Marcus Coker's verbal accusations before his death were not enough to prove that Charles Turnha was related to the car accident.

Charles Turnah, who had been detained in the police detention center for almost a month, was finally acquitted.

When Henry Dank heard the news, he was so angry that the phone in his hand was smashed to pieces.

That night, Collins Date came to Jerry Dank depressed.

"What are you going to do? Are you still investigating?" Collins asked Jerry Dank.

Jerry Dank stared at the picture on the screen.

It was the surveillance video of the night of the car accident, and he had watched it frame by frame many times.

"Check the video out," Jerry Dank said to Collins slowly.

Since things had returned to the starting point, since Marcus Coker said that the brakes failed, then he will start from here and start the investigation again.

Collins Date was frustrated, and wanted to cry even though tears could not come out.

"But we've checked that mechanic several times, and the police also recognized their maintenance report, saying that Mr. Marcus' brakes were fine," he said to Jerry with a tired tone.

Jerry Dank called out the staff list of the mechanic.

"This time, let's change the way we go about it," he said to Collins.

Knowing how Jerry Dank was still going to investigate, Colins Date was dumbfounded.

"This mechanic seems to have more than 100 employees, and some of them have left..." he said.

"Then we will check one by one, we will check slowly," Jerry Dank replied.

Collins could not believe his ears.

Fortunately, they were lucky.

By the time they found the seventy-eighth employee, they found something wrong.

This person suddenly resigned from the mechanic workshop not long after the police released the conclusion of the case.

After moving away from the original rental place, he bought a house in a relatively high-end community somewhere in Bullen, bought a storefront in a commercial street, and also bought a valuable car.

He didn't go to work every day, played cards, collected rent, went to the bar to drink to stupor, and the women around him were constant, and he had a very comfortable life.

But the problem was that a maintenance employee like himself in a mechanic workshop worked overtime with a meager salary not long ago.

How did he suddenly become rich overnight.

Jerry Dank spent a lot of time searching, and finally found this person.

The man was slightly drunk and had eaten a lot, humming a tune, and picking his teeth as he came out of the restaurant.

Seeing Jerry Dank at a glance, the man's smile froze on his face.

"You, how did you find this place?" He asked Jerry nervously.

"I have something else to ask you," Jerry Dank replied.

The man's attitude immediately became sore.

"What should I say again? Didn't I tell you everything? I am a worker in that mechanic shop, but at the time Marcus Coker's car came to the shop for maintenance, I was not responsible for the condition of his car. I don't know anything about it. Besides, haven't the police' investigation results been released? They all recognize the maintenance and repair records in the store, so don't bother about it any more," the man said to Jerry.

After the man finished speaking, he turned to leave.

Collins Date held the man back by shoulder.

"Mister, why are you panicking? We are not asking about the car accident, but why you suddenly resigned," Collins said.

"If I want to resign, I will resign. What has that got to do with you or anyone else?'' The man asked back.

The man wanted to struggle free, but he couldn't.

"We're just curious," Collins said.

"You don't go to work anymore. You're buying a car, a house, and a storefront. You're rich, right?" Collins asked with a sarcastic giggle.

"If I have money or not, it's none of your business!" the man replied defiantly.

The man's face changed.

"I don't have the energy to talk nonsense with you, stop following me, or I will call the police!" he said angrily.

Collins Dates grabbed the man's shoulders, half hugged and forced him into a small alley next to them.

"Truthfully answer our questions, and we'll let you go right away," Collins said to the man.

Collins' father had opened a gym and spa hall and won the championship in the Bullen youth competition.

That strength in Collins' hand was evidently beyond average.

The middle-aged man was dragged in with almost no room for resistance, and Jerry Dank did not forget to lightly instruct Collins Date.

"Get every single detail out of him.''

It didn't last ten minutes, and the man explained everything in tears.

A few months ago, someone called him and asked him to secretly play tricks on Marcus Coker's brake pads.

The person that called him, sent him a deposit of 10 million USD through a foreign account.

After the police announced the final result, they sent him another huge sum of money to the tone of 30 million USD.

Marcus Coker died in an accident that night, and everything he said was dead without proof.

And the Dank family's company suddenly had a nose dive overnight.
