Chapter 35 Don't Come Back
While all the mayhem was going on, she didn't dare to see Jerry Dank and his father, so she could only entrust Elizabeth Coker as a middleman.
Jerry Dank was wise enough, as long as he saw the materials, he would understand the clues.
That was what Audrey Turnah believed.
Audrey Turnah still remembered where Elizabeth Coker lived. When she got there, she knocked on the door for a while, but no one answered.
Just as she was wondering if she had gone the wrong way, the door opposite Elizabeth Coker's house opened.
Seeing the person that appeared at the door, Audrey Turnah froze on the spot as if her nerves had been tapped.
How could she have imagined that Elizabeth Coker not only lived in the same community with Jerry Dank, but they were also next door neighbors.
Jerry Dank looked at her indifferently.
"What's the matter? Why are you looking for Elizabeth?'' He asked Audrey.
"I want to send her some information..." Audrey replied to Jerry Dank clearly.
Then she hurriedly handed him the information in her hand.
"Actually, the information is for you, I wanted Elizabeth to pass it on to you..." she added.
Jerry Dank didn't answer and frowned.
"What is this?" He asked Audrey with suspicion.
"Materials from companies that have worked with the Baman family. You'll understand after reading it," Audrey Turnah replied.
Jerry Dank glanced at her, and Audrey looked at him earnestly.
He was silent for a moment before reaching out to take it.
Audrey sighed in relief when she saw that he had accepted it.
"My dad said that Jeremiah Baman is very good at doing cunning things, so tell your father to be careful..." Audrey informed Jerry Dank.
"Really? We should be careful of Jeremiah Baman and not Peter Turnah?" Jerry asked Audrey coldly.
Suddenly, Henry Dank appeared at the door in a wheelchair.
"If you don't get what you want, you won't hesitate to kill. The Turnah family has done enough! I should be careful? It's not the Baman family I should be careful of, it's your Turnah family!" Henry Dank said to Audrey coldly.
"Mr. Dank, my brother really has nothing to do with that car accident,'' Audrey Turnah said to Jerry's father.
"As for Mrs. Dank's death..." Audrey could not help but try to explain in order to clear her family name.
"Shut up! You dare to mention my wife's name?'' Henry Dank barked at Audrey.
He was furious.
"Whether the Turnah family murdered anyone, Peter Turnah knows very well about it!" Henry Dank added.
Audrey knew that it was useless to talk too much, so she lowered her eyes and took a deep, sorry breath.
"Mr. Dank, take care of your health, I'm leaving," she said.
''Wait!'' Henry Dank suddenly said to Audrey as she was leaving.
He pushed the switch on the wheelchair, came to his son, Jerry, snatched the piece of information in his hand, and threw it heavily at Audrey Turnah.
"Take your information away and tell Peter Turnah to stop playing such tricks of sowing discord in the future. I, Henry Dank, would never believe it!" the wounded man said.
The papers were scattered and fluttered on the ground.
Audrey Turnah inhaled deeply.
"I came here personally to drop this information with you people. I did it out of my own discretion, and my dad doesn't know about it at all. Sorry, I won't come back in the future," she said to Henry Dank.
"You'd better not come! When you confessed your feelings to Jerry and could not succeed, you used your connections to try to force him to drop out of school. You are not a good person!" Henry Dank said to Audrey angrily.
His tone was not good at all.
"Don't think I can't see it, Peter Turnah was willing to help treat my wife and insisted on letting Jerry Dank go abroad to take care of you, just to create a chance for you and my son to get along!" he added with a sneer.
"You Turnah family father and daughter know your intentions, but it's a pity that my son doesn't know this. You will have some self-knowledge in the future, don't appear in front of him again!" Henry Dank barked at Audrey.
Jerry Dank's face darkened slightly.
"Dad!" he yelped.
"What, did I say something wrong?" Henry Dank asked.
"I'll say this to you today, no matter how much she likes you, it's useless, and you'd better not be deceived by her appearance. As long as I live for a day more, I will never let her have the slightest bit of relationship with you!" he added.
No matter how Audrey Turnah tried to bear it, she was just a young girl with no experience in the world.
Her eyes turned red when Henry Dank said this.
She forced herself to hold back her tears and squatted down to pick up the scattered papers.
Jerry Dank silently glanced at Audrey Turnah, and holding the wheelchair, he wheeled his father away.
"I'll take you back to the house," he said as he wheeled his father back inside.
After settling Henry Dank down, Jerry turned around and poured a glass of warm water in for him.
"Your words were too much," Jerry Dank told his father.
Henry Dank's anger remained undisturbed.
"Too much? It is the Turnah family's actions that are too much?" Henry Dank replied.
"You really misunderstood her,'' Jerry Dank replied.
No emotion could be seen on Henry Dank's face.
"She doesn't like me, and I have nothing to do with her," Jerry Dank informed his father.
He put the water in front of Henry Dank and turned to go out.
"Where are you going?" Henry Dank asked Jerry. He was suspicious.
"Elizabeth should have come back home, I'll pick her up at the gate of the community," Jerry Dank replied.
After a college entrance examination that Elizabeth took a few days ago, Elizabeth Coker's aunt took her to stay at her house for holiday, and Elizabeth was expected to return home that night.
