Part Two: Ch. 56
"I need to talk to you." Vincent spoke calmly while entering his fathers smaller office that was inside their wing of the castle with Lennon nervously walking in behind him.
Kane lifted his head from the blue file on his desk, Kane quickly scribbled his signature then closed it. "What's going on, baby?" Kane smiled brightly.
"I found out who Death is." Vincent shrugged while sitting down comfortably across from his father.
"What!" Kane growled while standing to his feet. "Did he mark you? Where is he?"
"Chill out." Vincent snorted. "I'm fine."
Kane narrowed his eyes while eyeing his son up and down, he glanced over at Lennon and received a simple nod from him. "Okay.. what happened then?"
"Well he's pretty sure he can't touch my soul and he's too scared of what lies within Lennon to even get near him." Vincent explained.
"That's good but you're clearly still very upset about something. So what is it?" Kane questioned.
"He wants Sebastian." Vincent answered.
"His soul already belongs to Hell." Kane confessed.
"I know. He wants to do a trade." Vincent stared hard at his father.
"A trade? And what could he possibly have to offer me in return?" Kane chuckled while grabbing another file and beginning to read through it.
"My unborn brothers' soul." Vincent growled lightly.
Kanes' body stiffened for only a split second before he closed his eyes, composing himself. "I don't know what you're talking about." Kane rolled his shoulders while sitting back in his chair, staring at Vincent.
"So now you're going to lie to my face?" Vincent scoffed. Lennon reached over and placed a hand on Vincents' to help keep him calm.
"It's none of your business, Vincent." Kane warned while still staring him down.
"None of my business?" Vincent snorted. "I think I have the right to know whether or not I lost a sibling!!" Vincent yelled at him.
"Oh, you lost a sibling?!" Kane snarled, his patience completely gone. "You're absolutely right, Vincent! I am so fucking sorry for not telling you at the age of eight years old that your mother and I lost a baby. I mean, forget about my feelings or more importantly, forget about your mothers feelings about this. We should have at least told you when you were older. It's not like we lost a fucking child. You're right, you have every right to know about it." Kane mocked. "To make a long story short, when you were eight, the entire family went on a picnic out by the pond with all of those sunflowers, everyone was having a great time until your mom accidently tripped on some sticks or a root, whatever the fuck. We didn't even know she was pregnant at the time. It was a complete fucking accident, just a fucking accident." Kane growled.
Vincents' entire body slouched while his face held all of his guilt. "Dad, I didn't mean.."
"Now, are you satisfied?" Kane interrupted. "I mean, you have the right to know everything about everything, right? You've always thrown fits when shit doesn't go your way. The world revolves around you, yeah? It always has." Kane sneered.
"Dad, I'm sorry.." Vincent whispered with tears in his eyes.
"Get the fuck out." Kane snapped. "And don't bring this up to your mother. She doesn't need to relive that pain."
Vincent shot up to his feet and left the room without saying another word.
"I'm sorry.." Lennon whispered and then quietly left the room.
The second the door shut, Kanes' entire body went numb. "Fucks sake.." Kane mumbled while letting his head hang low, propping his elbows on his knees.
*You didn't have to say all that to pup.* Goliath whispered in an upset voice.
*I'm tired of him acting like he's entitled to shit.* Kane growled. *You know exactly what losing our pup did to Trixie.. You think Vincent has the right to bring that up to her?* Kane questioned.
*No..* Goliath whimpered.
*I'll admit I could have been nicer about it but he came in here with that attitude, demanding his rights about something that has absolutely nothing to do with him. It pissed me off. I snapped.* Kane shrugged while sitting up straight. *It's already done.*
Goliath didn't say anything else but instead just retreated back, leaving Kane to his own devices.
"Now, where was I?" Kane whispered to himself while opening up the file on his desk.

"Vin.." Lennon whispered while walking over to the bed that Vincent was laying face down on. "It'll be okay, baby.."
Vincent turned his head to look up at him. "I'm an asshole." Vincent mumbled with red, puffy eyes. "I was so inconsiderate."
Lennon climbed into the bed and wrapped his arms around Vincent, pulling him close. "It's okay." Lennon mumbled up against his temple, gently kissing him. "I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere."
Vincent buried his face in Lennons' neck while wrapping an arm around his waist and tangling his legs with Lennons. "I love you so much." Vincent mumbled against Lennons' neck and placed a soft kiss there.
"I love you too." Lennon smiled while rubbing Vincent's back. "Lets watch a movie."
Vincent shook his head no. "I don't want to."
Lennon pursed his lips while thinking. "Oh! I got it." Lennon wiggled out of Vincents' hold and sat up. "Lets play hide n seek."
Vincent snorted a small laugh. "Hide n seek? Aren't we a little too old for that?"
"Of course not!" Lennon chuckled. "You know my dad has been training me on how to use my powers and stuff. I know I'll never be strong like you or most people but my powers don't involve physical strength, it's mental."
"Okay.." Vincent frowned. "Tell me more, baby."
"When we're training, dad has us sitting down, across from each other. Like we're meditating but anyways, it's like he pulls me into another world but it's just all black, completely black." Lennon started to explain, getting excited.
Vincent just grinned up at Lennon, enjoying watching Lennon tell his story. *Mate is so fucking adorable.* Axe smiled dreamily. Vincent couldn't agree more. "Then what happens?" Vincent smiled, completely forgetting about his earlier argument with his father.
"Well he starts to build the world around us but it's more like a room and recently he's been having me do it!" Lennon spoke excitedly. "I just think of the walls, the floor and the roof, it's really hard but dad said with more practice, it'll become easier. I'll just think about it and it'll appear."
"So what's the purpose of this type of training?" Vincent questioned with a small smile.
"Well to strengthen my mind." Lennon smiled. "The room is to represent my safe place. To keep my mind secure and safe from others. If I were to ever be in trouble or danger, this room is to help keep me calm and in control of my powers. But.." Lennon chirped. "He's also taught me how to completely disappear. How to hide my scent and to hide in plain sight." Lennon gave a sly smile. "I want to test it on you."
"I'm your test monkey then?" Vincent smiled while gently rubbing Lennons' back.
"Yeah, if I can hide from my own mate then I can hide from anyone!" Lennon laughed while poking Vincents' chest.
"Lets do this then." Vincent sat up and leaned over to whisper in Lennons' ear. "But just so you know.. this is a game of cat and mouse.. once Axe catches you.. He won't be letting you go." Vincent purred.
Lennons' entire neck and face turned a deep red but he quickly placed his hand over Vincents' face and pushed him away before getting up and darting out the bedroom door.
*Lets go!* Axe growled out, playfully.
