P2: Bonus Ch. 12
***A little family.***
"Fuck this weather.." Vincent grumbled to himself while listening to the snow crunch beneath his feet. "It's too fucking cold man."
*But we can snuggle up with mate next to the fire.* Axe purred.
*We can snuggle up to mate anytime.* Vincent chuckled while shaking his head and finally making his way up the steps to his front porch. Vincent stomped off all the snow from his boots before entering his little cottage. While removing his boots a grin spread across his face when entering the seemingly empty home.
The fireplace was going and the christmas tree was lit up in the corner while the smell of roast beef and potatoes wafted around in the air. Vincent heard a small little giggle followed by a 'shh' and then another giggle that sounded like it was muffled.
"Hmmm.." Vincent hummed out loud while slowly walking around the living room. "Now.. where could they be?" Vincent pretended to look around while slowly making his way towards the kitchen. "Maybe the closet?" Vincent quickly opened the door. "Aw, shucks.. not there.." Vincent took a few more steps before standing right in front of the entryway of the kitchen. "How about... here!" Vincent jumped around the corner while crouching down to be eye level with the little curly blonde who let out a loud scream while laughing.
"You found me, daddy!" The little girl squealed while throwing her arms around Vincents' neck.
"I'll always find you, baby girl." Vincent grinned while wrapping a secure arm around her and reaching the other one out for Lennon. Lennon happily accepted with a smile and scooted closer, wrapping his arms around Vincent.
The little curly blonde had stolen Vincent and Lennons' heart when she was just only six months old, drawing them in with her deep purple eyes. Lennon had dragged Vincent to the kingdoms orphanage to bring them new supplies and see if they needed help with anything.
Trixie had done such an amazing job at cleaning up the way the kingdom and packs run their orphanages that the only working orphanage is the one residing in the kingdom. If for any reason a child becomes orphaned, they are to be brought to the kingdom immediately. Of course unless their next of kin take them in. After going through what she did growing up, Trixie refuses to let that happen to other kids. And ever since Kane and Gabriel merged their kingdoms, the orphanages numbers have been at an all time low. Pups of all species were being adopted.
Vincent and Lennon hadn't planned on starting a family but they knew Violet was meant to be theirs. Four and half years later and neither of them regretted the decision to adopt her. Vincent and Lennon loved every moment as a family, even the rough ones.
Although a lot of time had passsed since Lennon was just a child and suffered through what his uncle did and then what Oliver tried to do, Lennon still couldn't be touched by other men, except Vincent and his father. His anxiety would still skyrocket when he's around big groups of people. Vincent was constantly there for Lennon and he wouldn't have it any other way. He also noticed that Violet had seemed to help Lennon dramatically as well. Ever since adopting Violet, Lennon hasn't had a PTSD episode. Vincent was beyond blessed and happy with his little family.
"Did you help make dinner?" Vincent asked his little girl, gesturing towards the sink full of pots and utensils.
"Yep!" Violet grinned while wiggling out of his hold and making her way towards the oven and pointing inside. "Oats and po-t-otos." Violet tried to sound out the words roast and potatoes.
"She insisted on 'surprising' you when you got home." Lennon chuckled while Vincent helped him stand to his feet.
"Well I am very surprised!" Vincent grinned while sharing a heated kiss with Lennon.
Lennon pulled away too quickly for Vincents' liking while gently patting his chest, a small blush gracing his cheeks. "How is Issy doing?"
"Insufferable." Vincent snorted while his eyes watched his five year old make her way towards the bookshelf and rummage through her collection of books.
"Well she's a day past her due date.. I'm sure she's very uncomfortable." Lennon reasoned.
"True but still.. she doesn't have to be such a bitc-" Vincent began but a warm hand clamped over his mouth.
"Language." Lennon said sternly while eyeing his oblivious child.
"Yes, *mother.*" Vincent teased with an eye roll.
"Speaking of, how is Trixie and our little sunflower?" Lennon grinned while making his way towards the fridge and pulling out some weird looking dessert.
"They're great.. Mom is tired but that's expected with having a five month old.. of course dad is there helping her.." Vincent eyed the weird jiggly thing. "What the hell is that?"
"It's custard pudding.. I'm just adding the caramel topping now since it's set properly." Lennon chuckled with a happy smile.
"I don't know, baby.. it looks.. weird.." Vincent stared at the dessert but quickly smiled and wrapped an arm around Lennons waist when he saw Lennons frown and sad eyes. "But I can't wait to try it! You know I love caramel."
"You don't have too.." Lennon whispered while swirling the caramel over it.
"I want to." Vincent glared at the jiggly dessert for a split second before pecking Lennons' cheek with a kiss. "Oh, you missed it today, babe!" Vincent piped up, trying to change the topic. "Mom finally put her foot down and told my dad that she wasn't making any more babies."
Lennon let out a soft snort. "Yeah right! She's said that the last two times."
"Apparently dad agreed. He said four girls is enough." Vincent chuckled. "I don't blame him."
"You wouldn't want four girls?" Lennon questioned while sticking the dessert back in the fridge.
"We'll have all the babies you want." Vincent shrugged. "But definitely not four girls.. I would have stopped at the third one."
"But Logan is just too adorable. She's the only one who has green eyes like yours and Trixies." Lennon reasoned.
"True.." Vincent grinned while watching Lennon bend over and check on the food in the oven. Vincent tilted his head to the side while his eyes roamed all over Lennon.
*That booty tho..* Axe growled while checking out their mate.
"Vin, do you thi- stop staring at my ass.." Lennon whispered, yelled at him.
Vincents' eyes snapped up towards Lennons before he waltzed over towards him. "I'll stare at what's mine all I want, *mate.*"
"Nothing special to look at.. It's the same ass it was sixteen years ago.." Lennon turned around but Vincent heard the slight uncertainty in his voice.
"The same sexy ass that I'll always want." Vincent growled out while playfully smacking his ass.
"Yeah!" Violet cheered, not understanding what Vincent meant but tried to spank Lennon as well but was too short and smacked his thigh.
Lennon whipped around with wide eyes while Vincent slightly jumped. "You're like a ninja!" Vincent chuckled while scooping Violet up in his arms.. "Grandpa Vlad is teaching you very well on how to use your vampire side, huh baby girl."
Violet eagerly nodded her head and smiled a toothy smile while showing off her tiny little fangs. "No bites." Violet shook her finger, speaking sternly, mimicking what Vlad had told her.
"That's very good, sweetpea." Lennon grinned. "And what about silver?"
"Silver is very bad. It burns." Violet answered while shaking her head and leaning more into Vincent.
"Our little hybrid is learning so much." Vincent smiled while placing a kiss on top of her head. Violet was a vampire-werewolf hybrid. Her vampire genes were more dominant but thankfully she didn't have that hunger like purebreds do. She hasn't had to have a drop of blood, regular food is all she needs.
"Vince.." Lennon merely whispered while eyeing Violet. "After dinner, after we put her down for the night.. We need to talk.."
Vincent frowned while staring down at Violet before nodding his head. "Okay, baby.."

After putting an extremely reluctant Violet down for the night, Vincent and Lennon settled in on the couch in front of the fire, Lennon cuddling into Vincents' side.
Vincent ran a hand through Lennons soft grey curls while gently massaging his scalp. "So what do we need to talk about, baby?"
"You need to go check on Oliver.." Lennon winced when Vincent let out a deep growl.
"Why the fuck would I do that?!" Vincent held back a snarl.
"Because Violets' eyes are starting to brighten.." Lennon explained.
"So?" Vincent growled lightly.
"So name one supernatural creature that has purple eyes? Let alone a vampire?" Lennon scowled at him while pulling away. "The history books all claim that oracles have purple eyes.. and now that she's five.. she'll start to develop her own 'map'.."
Vincent let out a heavy sigh while pulling Lennon back against him. "I'll check in the morning.. if Violet is the new oracle then.."
"Then Oliver has ascended?" Lennon whispered. "The Gods' and Goddesses have sent him home..?"
"Mmm.." Vincent frowned in thought. "I guess being locked away for sixteen years is punishment enough for them.. I would perfer him to stay chained to the fucking wall forever."
Lennon just gently caressed Vincents chest. "He doesn't matter, my love. What matters is Violet." Lennon placed a gentle kiss on his neck.
Vincent gripped Lennons' thighs and pulled him to where Lennon was straddling him. "You matter too, *mate.*"
Lennon blushed while playing with the buttons of Vincents' shirt. "So do you.." Lennon whispered while slowly unbuttoning his shirt. "Your needs.. also matter.."
"Are you trying to seduce me?" Vincent growled lowly. "Cause it's working." Vincents' eyes traced his own hand that slid up Lennons' thighs and made its way towards the waistband of his sweatpants. "Come here." Vincent snarled playfully while flipping Lennon over and trapping him beneath his body.
Lennon let out a fit of giggles while wrapping his legs around Vincents' waist. Vincent started placing kisses and little nibbles along Lennons neck while trying to slide his hand down the front of his pants. "No no, mister!" Lennon pulled his hand forward. "The bedroom.." Lennon gestured to the hallway.
Vincent let out an annoyed huff while rolling his eyes. "But it's so romantic and sexy.. the fire.. come on, baby.." Vincent purred seductively.
"But Vi could walk in here.. she can't open the bedroom door.." Lennon tried to reason but Vincent wasn't convinced.
"Shh, baby.." Vincent whispered against Lennons' neck. "Let me show you just how much you matter."
