Chapter Nineteen

The past three days have been completely uneventful and I couldn't be happier! After that teacher tried to harass me, everything simmered down. I haven't seen Theodore in a while but I assume he's just been busy with work and stuff. No one at school even bothers me anymore. I don't know if it's because Kane is my mate or if its that Demy is constantly by my side when Kane isn't but either way, I'm glad they leave me alone. I can finally breathe and be myself without someone bullying me.

Lucy of course bothers me to no end. She has definitely taken the role as my best friend, not that I had a choice, she said so herself. She really is a good person though, always nice to everyone and always trying to help others. Even though Kol has a tight leash on her since her belly just keeps growing. They will have the cutest little hybrid. I can't wait for the baby to be here! She still has a month or so. Perks of being a supernatural, you have pretty fast pregnancies. She'll hit five months when she pops. She will be such a great mom..

Trixies train of thoughts were stopped when she heard someone knock on her door. She put down her banana and nutella and went to answer it.

"Hello.. Oh Max, what are you doing here?" Trixie was a bit confused. Max has only ever been here once, when he helped her move in.

"Trixie I need to talk to you.. In private if that's okay.." Max scanned her room, no one was here but he didn't miss Demy staring straight at him.

"Of course, come in?" Trixie gestured to her couch but Max just shook his head.

"Trixie, it's important, I need to show you something..." Max paused before saying the next part. "It's Kane.. you should leave the dog, he might sense you being upset and I don't really want to get attacked for trying to be a friend." Max faked a sad smile.

Trixie was confused but he's never hurt her before so she agreed. "Okay, show me."

Trixie told Demy to stay and walked out the door with Max. Max led her to a side of the castle and was a bit confused until he pointed towards a large window. Trixie followed his point, she was not prepared to see Ashley leaning over Kanes desk with her tits practically hanging out. What was worse was the fact that Kane wasn't even moving, especially when she saw Ashley start to walk around the desk. Trixie didn't need to see anymore. She shut her eyes and shook her head, taking steps backwards, he immediately took off running in the opposite direction into the woods.

*I knew it was too good to be true! Everyone was right. My mate would never want me. I'll never be good enough.* Trixie had tears running down her face, running in flip flops was harder than it looked. She ignored the twigs and branches slapping her arms and legs. She wasn't going to stick around to feel him be with another woman or to be rejected. *Everything he said about being mates was a lie! Of course he can be with whoever he wants. I'm such a fool!* With that last thought, Trixie blocked everyone out. Making her way towards the border.

Max didn't chase her. Instead he looked back at the window, only to see a bunch of men in the room carrying Ashley out the door, she looked like she was in pain. *Oh well.* Liam whispered. Maxs original plan was to have Ashley take the fall but he changed his mind at the last minute. Max scanned the room only to make direct eye contact with the most terrifying red eyes he's ever seen, all of Hell was within those eyes. Max managed to hold his composure even when Goliath blinked directly in front of him.

Everyone was going completely crazy! After my collar finished its judgment, it started to burn a bright reddish orange, kinda like molten lava. Meaning she was completely damned to hell. *The slut deserves it! Now, find that worthless excuse of a future alpha and slaughter him!* Kane demanded inside their head and Goliath couldn't agree more. Goliath was looking over to his brother and was about to say something when his eyes caught the man of the hour.

Gabriel had some guards carry Ashley to a cell. He was so pissed off that his own people would try to commit such a crime. Gabriel went to look at Goliath, only to watch him blink away. He knew better than to get in between Goliath and his prey.

"I'll fucking kill you!" Goliath growled out while grabbing onto Maxs neck and lifting him into the air only to slam him back onto the ground. "You think you can go against me!" Goliath repeated the same action.

"Yo-you're... t-to... l-late..." Max managed to cough out mixed with some blood. *Damn, he's strong. I'll heal us, don't worry.* Liam calmly said. He knew Kane couldn't kill him.

*What does he mean! Too late for what! What did he do! Where's Trixie?? I can't feel her, Goliath! Where is our girl!?* Kane was already panicking, which wasn't helping Goliath at all. If both of them were to lose their mind, everyone would be screwed. Goliath was frozen in his spot. He just stared down at Max, trying to tap into his mind. "You've got a good block up, pup. But it's not going to keep me out." Goliath sneered and sent a punch straight to his temple. Almost knocking Max out which gave Goliath exactly what he wanted. The block came down, Kane and Goliath saw it all. The different plans Max had, ideas. He even saw when Max got Trixie and brought her here, he saw the shock and betrayal and hurt in her eyes. Only if she would have waited a few more seconds, she would have seen what happened next.

"MOTHER FUCKER!" This time it was Kane and Goliath both on the surface. They threw punch after punch until Max was just lying limp on the ground, even then he didn't stop. Not until he was tackled to the ground. "Get off us! We're going to fucking kill him!" Kane and Goliath growled out.

"Not a fucking chance! You need to calm down so we can figure this shit out!" Tatum yelled back at him. If anyone was even close to the same strength as Kane and Goliath, it would definitely be a dragon, a royal dragon. Tatum had been hiding in the city the past few days to try and clear his mind and figure out his next move with Theodore but he didn't expect to come back to the castle with all Hell breaking loose. He was shocked to see all the men just standing around while Kane tried to kill this pup. He couldn't let that happen even if he didn't know what the hell was going on.

Kane and Goliath weren't going to let it go that easily. They managed to push themselves off the ground, forcing Tatum to fall backwards. Kane and Goliath turned around and were going to grab Tatum but Theodore stepped in between them before he could. "Don't." Was all Theodore said. Kane and Goliath just looked at Theodore and turned their attention back towards Max. He was still lying limp on the ground but they could still hear his heart beat. *His mutt is stronger than what it seems.* Goliath mentioned to Kane inside their head. *We'll see how strong he is once we're finished with him.* Kane replied.

Kane pushed Goliath back so he could have full control. He turned to look at the men, they were just staring at him. Kane closed his eyes and opened his mind and started to share all the information and events that just happened with his entire kingdom. He even allowed the men near him to see what happened even though all of them were there besides Tatum and Vladimir.

Kane opened his eyes and made direct eye contact with Gabriel

"How did you do that?" Gabriel was shocked that Kane could show an entire kingdom his thoughts.

"Lets see how long this *mutt* lasts with my entire kingdom knowing what he did to their queen." Kane closed his eyes again and barked out orders to start searching for their queen immediately. William and his Elite team members were already taking off towards the direction Trixie ran.

Gabriel could feel his entire territory being bombarded with demon warriors, none attacked though, they were awaiting orders. Most of them were running around the territory where Trixie ran off, trying to help find their missing queen.

Kane held no emotions when speaking. "If those two *mutts* successfully drove away my mate and I don't find her. There will be no unification. There will be no peace. There will be no friendship between us ever. There *will* only be war. There *will* only be blood. There *will* only be death. Your kingdom and everyone in it will burn."
