P2: Bonus Ch. 2

***Adoption Day.***

"I thought you'd never show up.." Theodore growled while making his way towards Vlad.

"I've been busy." Vlad tried to defend.

"For three months?" Theodore raised an accusing brow at him.

"Moving an entire clan here isn't easy." Vlad scowled at him.

"Well Vlad, if I can be frank with you.. fuck your clan." Theodore growled.

"They're my clan, Theodore!" Vlad growled back.

"And Tatum is your son!" Theodore snarled.

"I know, I know..." Vlad softened. "Where's Tatum?"

Theodore turned slightly while pointing over towards Tatum who was across a small field of people. Tatum was currently chasing two little blonde haired boys around with the biggest grin on his face. "We've been waiting for you." Theodore spoke softly. "He needs you, Vlad."

"I know.. I'm not going anywhere." Vlad smiled while making his way towards them. Vlads eyes instinctively landed on Dorothy who was currently pointing at all the different things around and whispering in Octavia's ear, Geralt of course was only a few feet away. Vlad walked straight towards Tatum who just scooped up the last little boy while laughing. "Tate.." Vlad spoke up over the boys little squeals.

Tatum whipped around while a huge grin spread across his face. "You made it!"

"I wouldn't miss this day for anything, babe." Vlad wrapped his arms around Tatum and pulled him into a tight hug but was careful of the two boys in Tatums' arms. "Now.. let me try and guess.." Vlad pretended to think while pointing to one of them. "You're Maxton and you are Jaxton."

Both boys giggled while shaking their heads. "I'm Max!"

"And I'm Jax!" The other one laughed.

"Oh, now I see it.." Vlad teased with a big smile. "Do you guys know who I am?" Vlad smiled at them.

Both boys looked up at Tatum and turned back to look at Vald with a big smile while nodding their heads. "You're our new grandpa!"

"That's right!" Vlad grinned while Tatum set them down and Vlad took a hold of their hands. "Now let's go get some of that delicious looking food."

Tatum watched his father take off with *his* boys with a soft smile.

"I told you he wouldn't miss today, baby." Theodore cooed while wrapping his arms around Tatums waist and resting his chin on his shoulder.

"I know.. I was just worried.. I know he's been busy moving everyone here but I know he was also avoiding us.." Tatum smiled sadly.

"He wasn't avoiding you." Theodore reassured him and then let his eyes land on Dorothy. "He's avoiding your mother."

"Well he won't be doing that anymore." Tatum sighed. "They're both grandparents to our boys."

Theodores' entire face lit up while his eyes landed on Jax and Max. They were currently holding their own plates while Vlad placed whatever they wanted on them. "Are you happy, Tatum?"

Tatum turned around in Theodores' arms and gently kissed his lips. "I'm so happy.. You have no idea what this means to me.. *You* make me so happy.." Tatum cupped Theodores' face and smiled. "I love you, forever."

"And I love you, always." Theodore had a cheeky grin while pecking Tatums' nose.

"Good." Tatum smiled. "Now, come on. Lets' go join everyone." Tatum started pulling Theodore towards their family. "Is Kane still coming?"

"Of course." Theodore chuckled. "He was arguing with Issy on wearing outside play clothes but she insisted on wearing a dress."

"She's a princess, Theo." Tatum giggled. "I don't think I've ever seen her wear anything else."

"You're not wrong." Theodore laughed while taking a seat on their picnic blanket and pulling Tatum into his arms.

"Look what grandpa let us get!" Max eagerly made his way towards Theodore and Tatum, happily sitting down next to them, Jax following suit.

"It looks like grandpa got you all the sweets.." Tatum narrowed his eyes up at Vlad, who was grinning like the cheshire cat. "Not one vegetable.."

Theodore chuckled while leaning forward and pressing a kiss to Tatums' temple. "It'll be okay. Once dragons reach a certain age they don't need to eat healthy foods like everyone else."

"That's not the point.." Tatum scowled while turning slightly to face him.

"I know, baby." Theodore smiled. "Let them enjoy today, it's their adoption day." Tatum looked down at the twins and couldn't help but smile after seeing their happy faces.

It took Theodore and Tatum almost three whole months to get Maxton and Jaxton warmed up to them. The twin boys had lost their entire family during Sebastians attack on the Dragon Empire. They had completely shut down, another family had been taking care of them but with three kids of their own, it was becoming too much for them. Thankfully when Tatum was going around and checking on everyone and seeing how they were settling in, he had completely fallen in love with them and he just knew they were meant to be his, theirs. Tatum was worried on how Theodore would react, they both agreed that they wanted to wait on starting a family but that was when Vincent was just a baby and much to Tatums' relief Theodore was more than excited to start the adoption process.

"Teo! Tater!" Isabellas' little yells caught their attention. Isabella jumped into their arms while giggling. "Miss you!"

"We missed you too, princess!" Theodore cooed while kissing her cheek and Tatum kissed the other. "Remember your cousins, Max and Jax?"

Isabella eagerly nodded her head and smiled at them, her eyes lighting up like a christmas tree once she saw their plates. "Tandy?" Isabella pointed at their plates with a serious expression.

"Absolutely!" Vlad grinned while scooping her up. "Lets' get you some desserts!"

"Wait.." Kanes' voice echoed from behind them. "Vlad!"

"Shush!" Trixie lightly slapped his shoulder. "Let them be."

"But.." Kane wanted to argue but stopped when he saw the look in his mates eyes. "Fine but you're dealing with her hyperactive state afterwards."

"Oh no.." Trixie smiled, cheekily. "Grandpa Vlad juiced her up, he'll deal with her."

Everyone around them just chuckled while Trixie made herself comfortable. Kane made his way towards Geralt who was sitting comfortably underneath a giant umbrella.

"Comfy?" Kane mumbled causing Geralt to immediately jerk up.

"Oh, my king!" Geralt rushed nervously.

"Relax." Kane chuckled while pushing Jordin into Geralts' arms.

"Oh, I can't.." Geralt tried to deny Kanes' action but Kane wouldn't let him.

"Stop being stupid." Kane growled lightly causing Geralt to immediately accept the little princess. "I'm not going to keep you from your mate. I can tell you're nervous as hell all the time around her." Kane gently set down her baby bag next to Geralts chair. "She has plenty of formulas in there. Keep her out of the sun."

"I just don't want to hurt her.." Geralt mumbled while staring down at the little curious blue eyes staring back up at him.

"You won't." Kane smiled while slightly leaning towards him. "Because if you do.. Those two scars across your face will be nothing compared to what I'll do to you." Kane stood up straight with a smile and gently patted Geralts shoulder. "Enjoy the day." Kane spun on his heels and headed back towards Trixie and made himself comfortable.

"Did you threaten him?" Tatum chuckled slightly.

"Of course." Kane grinned while leaning back.

"That's not nice, you shouldn't do that." Jax scolded Kane.

Kane let out a soft chuckle while leaning forward and plucking Jax from his spot. "Aren't you a brave boy.. scolding me."

Jax let out a little growl. "I'm six!"

Kane just chuckled again while pulling Jax into a tight hug. "The bravest age!" Kane gently kissed the top of his head and set him back down.

"Can I have more, Daddy?" Max asked while lifting his now empty plate for Tatum to see.

"Yes but we're going to get real food." Tatum narrowed his eyes over at his father who was still grinning.

"I'm their grandpa.. I'm supposed to feed them all the sugary treats and then send them back to you." Vlad grinned even wider when he saw Tatum huff. "Ain't that right princess?" Vlad cooed Isabella who currently had chocolate pudding all over her mouth.

"Yep!" Isabella nodded her head, not really knowing what was going on. She was focused on the treats in front of her.

"Grandpa is my favorite!" Jax thought out loud causing everyone to laugh.

"Mine too!" Max immediately agreed.

"That's my boys!" Vlad wrapped his arms around the twins, pulling them into his lap.

"And just like that, we lost our boys." Theodore chuckled while kissing Tatums' cheek.
