Part Two: Ch. 62
***Three days later..***
"You have to eat, sweetie.. please.." Lily begged Lennon while brushing his curls out of his face. Lennon just stared at his mother before rolling over in bed and facing away from her. "Len.. please baby.." Lily let out a heavy sigh when she didn't get a response from Lennon. Its been this way for the past few days, Lennon refused to eat or do anything and would just lay in bed all day and night.
"I'll do it." Vincent reassured Lily while taking the bowl of soup from her hands.
Lily nodded her head while standing up. "Take care of my baby."
Vincent just nodded his head and once Lily was out the door he quickly grabbed Lennons arm and forced him to turn around. Lennon looked up at Vincent with an angered glare and tried to pull his arm out of his grip. "That's enough. You're going to eat this soup or I'm going to force it down your throat."
"Leave me alone!" Lennon shouted while trying to push Vincent away.
"Never." Vincent growled while pulling Lennon up from his laying down position. Vincent climbed in behind him and wrapped a secured arm around Lennons waist while throwing a leg over his squirming ones.
"Let go of me!" Lennon growled while trying to break free from Vincents' grip.
"Start eating or.." Vincent growled while pushing the bowl closer to Lennons' face.
*You're upsetting mate* Axe whined.
*He's starving himself!* Vincent argued back. *I know you feel our other beast, he's constantly on edge and you're feeding off it causing our shadow demons to appear!*
*I want Oliver and that man dead!* Axe roared.
*And I can't leave Lennon until I know he's better!* Vincent snarled. Axe didn't argue back because he knew Vincent was right. He didn't plan on leaving Lennons' side either.
Lennons' bottom lip started trembling. "I don't want to." Lennon turned his head away, burying his face in Vincents' chest.
Vincent set the bowl down and repositioned himself, wrapping both arms around Lennon. "You have to eat baby.." Vincent mumbled against Lennons' neck, placing soft kisses there. "You can't just lay around all day.."
"You don't understand.." Lennon shook his head while pulling away.
"You can't just keep doing this to yourself!" Vincent argued. "You have to eat!"
"No!" Lennon scowled and started pushing Vincent away.
"Fine." Vincent growled while reaching for the bowl of soup. "Then I'll feed you."
"NO!" Lennon shouted while crawling away from him. Vincent grabbed Lennons' ankle and pulled him back. "Stop it!" Lennon scowled while trying to pry Vincents' hands off of him.
Vincent managed to pin Lennon underneath him with his hands above his head. "Enough! I can't just stand by and watch you waste away!" Vincent roared.
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Lennon yelled back with tears streaming down his face.
"Then talk to me, Lenny!" Vincent begged, his voice breaking. "I can't lose you.."
Lennon stared up at Vincent before finally breaking down completely. "I feel so weak.." Lennon sobbed.
"You're not, baby." Vincent whispered while laying down next to Lennon and pulling him into his arms. "You're not."
"I am.." Lennon mumbled into Vincents' chest before pulling back slightly. "All that training with my dad.. It was pointless.. I couldn't even protect myself.." Lennon cried and then buried his face back in Vincents' chest.
"Lennon, you were drugged.." Vincent reasoned.
"I'm the son of Anubis." Lennon mocked. "Shouldn't I be immune to such things."
"Your uncle harmed you in a way that will always stay with you." Vincent randomly muttered causing Lennon to start shoving him away.
"You're a jerk!" Lennon cried while punching his chest.
"Listen to me!" Vincent growled while grabbing his wrists and pulling him against himself. "What Oliver did.. tried to do.. it triggered that memory, am I right?" Lennon just sniffled and nodded his head. "You're suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, Len.. PTSD.. It's causing you to sink into this depressing hole that you feel like you can't climb out of.." Vincent explained. "I think you have always been suffering from it and just because that therapist helped you before, doesn't mean you're healed. Oliver triggered your PTSD."
"Why am I so pathetic.." Lennon cried into Vincents' chest.
"You're not baby.." Vincent reassured while lifting Lennons head and placing a gentle kiss to his lips. "You have to let me help you.. Let all of us help you. You're not alone, Lenny.." Lennon only nodded his head in Vincents' chest. "Please, baby.. please eat.. for me.."
Lennon sniffled before slowly nodding his head. "Okay.."
"Okay, come on." Vincent slowly sat up with Lennon in his arms and reached over for the soup. "Just take it slow, okay? You'll get sick if you eat too fast."
Lennon let out a small little pout before grabbing the bowl and slowly started eating. After a couple of spoonfuls, Lennon turned his head to face Vincent who seemed to relax dramatically after seeing that. "What's going to happen to Oliver.. and who was that man who.. helped him?" Lennon questioned in a shaky voice.
Vincent let out a heavy sigh before tightening his arms around Lennons' waist. "That man worked for my dads and Gabriels' guards and I guess he was extremely upset when my father denied him some promotion or whatever that fuck it was." Vincent gently kissed Lennons' shoulder. "I'm pretty sure Todd has been visiting Oliver since I've been here. I think your dad tried going down there but your mother stopped him." Vincent shrugged. "Eat some more." Vincent instructed while nudging the bowl a little.
Lennon looked like he wanted to comment but instead started to finish his soup. "Are.. are you going to pay him a *visit?*" Lennon questioned while gently eyeing him.
"Yes." Was all Vincent said before climbing out of his bed.
"Where are you going!?" Lennon asked, worried.
"No where, baby." Vincent smiled over at him. "I'm going to get us ready for a shower."
"My dad.. I haven't seen him.." Lennon whispered while looking at Vincent with pleading eyes.
"He's visited you but you're always asleep when he does.. He's not handling this well.." Vincent confessed. "He's scared.. that.."
"That I won't want him near me.." Lennon interrupted with a frown. "He's my dad.."
"I know, baby.." Vincent smiled sadly. "He just doesn't want to lose you either."
"He won't.." Lennon smiled. "You won't... I just don't know how to get better.." Lennon frowned while staring down at his almost empty bowl of soup.
Vincent let out a soft sigh while walking over to Lennon. "I'm not sure but we'll figure it out together. I'm here, always, baby."
Lennons' bottom lip trembled slightly. "Promise?"
"I promise."
