Part Two: Ch. 63

***Two Months Later..***

"You smell like shit." Vincent chuckled to himself while staring at the skeleton of a man in front of him. "Good thing you're immortal." Vincent sneered while stepping closer to Oliver. "How does it feel to starve.. to be suffering from thirst." Vincent pretended to wait for an answer but then again chuckled. "Oh, that's right.. lack of food and water has made you practically mute." Vincent shook his head with an evil grin. "My bad."

"When are you going to just end his life, Vin?" Kanes' bored tone echoed in the small cell.

"I'm not." Vincent growled. "He's going to stay chained to that wall for eternity. Death is too much of an easy out for what he tried to do to my Lenny."

Kane glanced over at Oliver and let out a quiet sigh. "Lennon is upstairs waiting for you."

Vincent snapped his head towards his father with a big smile and made quick steps for the door and was about to leave before turning around to Oliver one last time. "Enjoy the rest of your existance in solitary confinement." Vincent smiled while slamming the steel door shut and locking it.

"So that's it?" Kane questioned while heading towards the stairs. "You're done with him?"

"Done? I never even touched him." Vincent scowled.

"No but starving an immortal is probably the worst kind of torture." Kane answered. "The constant hunger."

"He deserves it." Vincent gritted out.

Kane quickly wrapped an arm over Vincents' shoulder before pulling him in for a tight hug. "I'm not arguing with you on this, baby. I just don't want you to lose yourself down here, get carried away with ideas or anything.." Kane explained.

"I'm not coming back down here anymore." Vincent reassured while gently patting Kanes' shoulder. "Lenny doesn't like it when I come down here."

"None of us do.." Kane mumbled.

"No need to worry anymore." Vincent chuckled while clapping his father on the back and running the rest of the way back to his room where he knew Lenny was waiting for him.

"Vin.." Lennon whimpered while tightening his grip on Vincents' wrists.

"Do you trust me, baby?" Vincent whispered in Lennons' ear while gently releasing his arms around Lennons' waist.

"More than anyone.." Lennon confessed while nodding his head.

"So trust me when I say it's just you and I out here, baby. No one else is near." Vincent reassured while stepping around him and pulling him a few more steps forward. "Okay.." Vincent grinned while again wrapping an arm around Lennons waist and slowly slipping the blindfold from Lennons' eyes. "Tada!" Vincent exclaimed.

Lennon blinked his eyes a few times before his smile slowly turned into a frown. "What is it?"

"It's ours." Vincent grinned while stepping towards the stone forest-like cottage. "Uncle Gabriel said I could have it since Azrael and Todd don't want it and well, Angel is too materialistic for this." Vincent chuckled nervously. "We'll have to fix her up a bit. It doesn't have electricity or running water but that's an easy fix.."

"It looks like it's going to fall apart.." Lennon whispered underneath his breath while stepping up onto the porch.

"Baby, a lycan built this place. It's more sturdy than most of the houses in this kingdom." Vincent chuckled. "It's almost two hundred years old."

Lennon whipped around with wide eyes. "How is it even still standing?" Lennon looked around with amazement.

"Like I said, a lycan built it. Gabriels' father was the man who did it, King Lucas. He was the first lycan king and he had built this cottage for his mate." Vincent smiled while watching Lennon examine everything.

"Where are they now?" Lennon murmured while opening the front door.

"Somewhere in Europe or maybe it was Asia.. I'm not really sure. They've been enjoying their retirement." Vincent laughed lightly while following Lennon into the cottage. "Look.. I know it may seem like a lot but our dads already said they would help me fix it up, you don't have to worry about a thing. You can decorate it however you want. It'll be our home, after we graduate of course. I know ever since the ball, you don't like being around a lot of people and I don't blame you in any way, baby. I can tell being constantly surrounded by everyone in the castle has your anxiety skyrocketing at times." Vincent rushed out. "You can literally see the castle garden from the front porch so I'll still be close but this will be our own space. No intruders, no one just barging into our room... well besides Bella, I can't control her.."

Lennon let out a soft laugh while approaching Vincent and shushing him with a soft kiss. "I love it. Bella will always be welcome here, everyone will be, you know that."

"I know, baby. I just want you to be as comfortable as possible." Vincent replied while wrapping his arms around his waist and pulling him closer.

"I know, I know.." Lennon smiled while staring up at him. "I just can't believe you would do all of this for me.."

"This.." Vincent gestured around them. "This is nothing compared to what I would do for you, Lennon." Vincent leaned down and gently pressed a kiss to Lennons' lips which quickly turned heated until a crashing sound pulled them from their trance.

"Uh.. oh..." Isabella whispered while standing in the entryway of the cottage with her hand outstretched like she was pushing the door open.

"And now we need a new door." Vincent grumbled while staring down at the now fallen door. "Thanks, Bella."

Isabella just shrugged while skipping inside the cottage and jumping into Vincents' arms. "Miss you.." Isabella whispered sadly while sticking out her bottom lip in a pout.

Vincents' frown quickly vanished while hugging his baby sister tightly. "I miss you too, princess." Isabella let out a giggle and reached her arms out for Lennon, who happily reached out for her as well.

Vincent grinned at the two before making his way towards the door and peeking outside. "You guys can go. I got her." Vincent instructed the two guards who seemed to be relieved at Vincents' words, babysitting the little princess was never a simple challenge. Vincent turned around and poked Isabellas' cheek. "How did you find me all the way out here?"

Isabella started taking in quick little sniffs while scrunching up her nose. "Stinky.."

Lennon threw his head back and let out a loud laugh while Isabella giggled some more and cuddled up against Lennons' chest.

Vincent smacked his lips and frowned at her. "Well that's rude." Vincent turned around and walked out the door.

Lennon followed after him while trying to contain his quiet laughter. "Isabella, you are just the cutest little monster ever."

"You say that now.. Just wait until she's older.. a teenager." Vincent snorted but wrapped his arms around the two. "It won't be so cute then."

"Well I think she's precious." Lennon countered with a smile and placed a little kiss on top of Isabellas' head.

Vincent smiled down at Lennon. "You're my world, you know that?"

Lennon smiled back up at Vincent while resting his head against his chest. "I'm just a big baby.."

"You're my baby." Vincent looked down at Lennon with pure love. "Mine."

"I baby too!" Isabella cheered while wrapping her small arms around both of their necks, trying to squeeze them in a hug.

*Our babies.* Axe grinned from ear to ear.

"Our babies."
