Part Two: Ch. 36

I tried opening my eyes but I immediately knew by the insane pounding in my head and the simple fact that my eyelids refused to open, that Axe and I lost control again. I felt exactly like this the last time it happened. The last thing I remember was feeling Lennons' arms wrap around me when Xander was complaining about Noah.

"Lenny?" I managed to croak out while reaching for him but didn't feel him in bed but I heard his feet taking quick steps towards me from across the room. I'm guessing he was sitting in *my* recliner, a nice large lazy boy to be exact, reading one of his books.

"Baby?" Lennon quickly climbed into the bed, next to Vincent. "How are you feeling? Do you need anything?"

*A blow job.* Axe purred.

*What's wrong with you!* Vincent growled.

*He called us baby.. How else am I supposed to react?* Axe grumbled.

Lennon let out a short chuckle but cupped Vincents' cheek. "Aside from that."

Vincent managed to open his heavy eyes with a soft smile. "Water, please."

Lennon reached over and grabbed the glass of water. "I figured you'd be thirsty." Lennon smiled sweetly while watching Vincent gulp the water down in one go.

"Thank you." Vincent smiled. "How long was I out?"

"Over an hour." Lennon frowned slightly. "Your dad said you were going to be up in a few but that turned into more than just a few.."

Vincent let out a soft sigh while shifting in the bed and pulling Lennon underneath the covers with him. "He would have been right under normal circumstances but this time.. it felt different.."

"What.. exactly happened?" Lennon whispered while snuggling up next to Vincent and gently traced circles on his chest.

"I'm a hybrid, Lennon." Vincent sighed.

"So is.. half the population here.." Lennon chuckled while placing a soft kiss on Vincents' chest.

"They are but not like me.." Vincent began. "I'm different. My father obviously has extremely strong genes, DNA, whatever you want to call but I guess with my mother being the last female phoenix.. it created me. Most hybrids, their wolf, lycan or whatever is mixed with their parents' species." Vincent frowned while shaking his head, trying to explain this properly. Vincent rolled onto his side while he propped his head up with his hand. "Okay so KJ and Todd for example. KJ is a lycan-demon hybrid like his father, got all of that from his father but anyways, his lycan is mixed with demon. Todd is a lycan-witch, his lycan is mixed with the witch genes from his father." Vincent explained.

"So Axe isn't mixed with your phoenix?" Lennon questioned.

"No. We don't know why either." Vincent sighed. "They are separate but my phoenix doesn' have a voice like Axe but he's there, I can feel him." Vincent rolled back onto his back while shaking his head. "I'm sorry this is probably so confusing and it doesn't help that my head feels like a sledgehammer keeps hitting it."

Lennon crawled up the bed and placed Vincents' head in his lap while gently massaging it causing Vincent to let out a soft groan of approval. "I understand, Vin. You're a special kind of hybrid. Your demon and phoenix are not one with each other. I get it."

"We lose control to him sometimes. I can always feel the anger from him.. that's why I lash out sometimes, I don't mean to but he just feeds that negative energy to me." Vincent explained. "But today.. with you.. you calmed him immediately. That's never happened before, I mean, I could feel the pride and happiness when Bella was born but that anger was always there but you.. you melted that anger away."

Lennon stared down at Vincent with a small frown. "He probably just wants to be heard."

"Lenny, he doesn't have a voice.." Vincent scowled.

"Of course he does." Lennon argued back. "He can speak through you."

"What are you talking about?" Vincent looked up at Lennon with confusion.

"Well when he took control, he wasn't very happy about my uncle Xander holding me back to keep me from getting hurt by you in that state." Lennon shrugged. "You, I mean he said: *You dare touch him!*" Lennon chuckled.

"I don't remember that.." Vincent frowned. "I'm sorry if he scared you."

Lennon shook his head. "I wasn't scared because of that.. I was scared because I thought something bad was happening to you." Lennon leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Vincents' lips and slowly pulled away. "So he doesn't have a voice like Axe but does like.. have his own thoughts?"

"Yes and no? We all share the same brain, share the same thoughts, everything. Axe can argue with me, input his own voice. My phoenix doesn't do that." Vincent let out a tired sigh. "Like I said, I can always feel him but he doesn't communicate with us. For a very long time he just stayed closed off, ignoring us but when we found you.. I could always feel him inching closer, listening." Vincent shrugged slightly.

"Well let me meet him." Lennon smiled sweetly but quickly frowned when he saw fear in Vincents' eyes. "He isn't going to hurt me. I proved that earlier."

"I don't know.. maybe later." Vincent tried to dismiss the conversation and sat up while rolling his shoulders.

Lennon quickly grabbed a hold of Vincents' face, making Vincent face him. "I *will* meet him whenever I want, whenever he wants. Got it?"

Vincent raised an eyebrow at Lennons' demanding voice. "Yes sir." Vincent grinned while his eyes darted to Lennons' pouty lips and started leaning in.

Lennon snorted while rolling his eyes, he gently pushed Vincents' head away and crawled off the bed. "I'm hungry."

Vincent quickly got up and wrapped a secure arm around Lennons' waist and pulled him flush against his chest. "I have something you can eat, baby.." Vincent purred.

"S-stop it!" Lennon blushed while covering his face with his hands.

"Come on.." Vincent grinned while wrapping his other arm around Lennon.

"No!" Lennon snapped while pulling away from Vincent, taking a few steps away, not facing Vincent.

"Hey, it's okay, Lenny." Vincent stepped forward to put his hands on Lennons' shoulders. "I was just teasing, baby."

"No. I feel like that's all you want to do." Lennon pulled away again. "You never want to just hang out or just talk.. I feel like we don't even know much about each other.." Lennon finally turned around to face Vincent with hurt plastered all over his face.

"Lenny..." Vincent tried to sooth him but Lennon again pulled away. Vincent let out a heavy sigh while dropping his arms to his side. "Your favorite color is green. Not just any green though, Evergreen tree green. You HATE the color orange and hate oranges even more but love limes and lemons. You don't know how to ride a bicycle. You are terrified of horses because you were bucked off of one at the age of.. six. You love those cheetah hot fries things. You think candles are annoying. Obviously you're a bookworm. You collect stickers. You think any type of jerky is disgusting. You believe aliens are real. You press your ring finger and thumb together when you're nervous or your anxiety spikes. You bite your bottom lip and pinch your brows together when you are deep in thought. You pinch your tongue between your bottom lip and teeth when you are super focused on something" Vincent stared at Lennon intently.

Lennons' jaw was slacked while he gaped at Vincent. "Why do.. wait.. how do you.." Lennon shook his head, trying to form a proper sentence.

Vincent stepped closer to Lennon until their chests touched. Vincent cupped Lennons' cheeks. "I see you even when you think I'm not looking. You say small things and I just put the pieces together. Well your mother told me about the horses but other than that, I'm just very observant." Vincent gently rubbed his thumbs against Lennons' cheeks. "I know you, Lenny. And I'm sorry I made you feel like sex was all I cared about. You know it's not, baby."

Lennon just looked into Vincents' eyes and smiled softly. "Thank you.." He quickly wrapped his arms around Vincents' waist and rubbed his face in his chest. "I love you."

Vincent rubbed Lennons' back and shoulders while placing a soft kiss on Lennons' head. "I love you too."

Lennon lifted his head while nibbling on his bottom lip. "So.. do you believe in aliens?" Lennons' cheeks turned a light pink when Vincent raised an amused brow at him.

"I'm not sure. I mean we are real so I guess it's possible." Vincent shrugged. "I thought you were hungry?"

"Feed me."
