Part Two: Ch. 61

"I thought you were just going to keep on talking and talking and talking.." Vincent complained while making his way towards their table.

"I'm a king, baby. I have to know how to give speeches." Kane chuckled while slapping Vincents' shoulder. "I've been doing it for a very long time."

"Right." Vincent snorted. "Whatever you say, old man."

"I'll show you old man!" Kane playfully snarled.

"You two stop it." Trixie gave them both a stern look. "Try and act mature, you have a lot of eyes on you." Trixie made quick steps towards their table and sat down with a now sleeping Isabella in her arms.

"It's always interesting seeing mom in *'queen'* mode. She's so professional and classy in the public eye." Vincent chuckled. "I mean she's always classy but you know what I mean."

"Your aunt Selena made no mistake when blessing me with your mother." Kane stated proudly. "She is every bit of the queen I pictured by my side and so much more."

Vincent smiled over at his dad but it quickly faded when he noticed Lennon wasn't at the table. "Where is he?" Vincent questioned his friends.

"He's right over there getting himself another drink." KJ rolled his eyes while pointing in Lennons' direction.

"Yeah, calm down, crazy." Todd chuckled.

Vincent let his eyes scan over the ballroom until his eyes landed on those grey curls he loves so much, only then did he feel relieved. "I'm not crazy."

"You're a little crazy." KJ laughed lightly.

"Like you're not constantly worried about Bella when she's not in your sight." Vincent snorted while taking his seat.

"Whatever." KJ narrowed his eyes at him.

Vincent just laughed while letting his eyes glance back over to where Lennon was supposed to be getting his drink but was no longer there. Vincent immediately shot up from his seat and started walking across the dance floor.

"Vin?" Kane called for Vincent but he didn't turn back around. "I'll go see what's going on. Stay here." Kane whispered to Trixie and placed a kiss on her temple. "They don't leave your sight. Got it?" Kane commanded one of his guards that was standing a few steps behind them.

"Yes, my King." The man respectfully bowed.

Kane took quick steps to follow after Vincent. "Vincent, what's wrong?"

"Lenny isn't here." Vincent whipped his head around and scanned the crowd. "I can't smell him." Vincent added, feeling Axe and his other beast starting to panic with him. *Lenny??* Vincent called for him through their mindlink.

"Calm down, baby." Kane placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "He probably just went to use the bathroom."

"NO!" Vincent shouted while ripping away from his fathers hold. "I don't feel him!!"

"You have to calm down." Kane instructed once he saw the look in Vincents' eyes. "He's here and we'll find him." Vincent looked around, ignoring his father, until his eyes landed on the stage and started making his way towards it. "Vincent.. just please.. just calm down." Kane rushed his words while following his son.

Vincent jumped up on the stage while Kane gently grabbed his upper arm, trying to pull him back slightly. "Where is he?" Vincent growled into the mic, catching everyones' attention.

"Vincent.." Kane warned which only pissed Vincent off more.

"WHERE IS HE?!" Vincent roared while lifting his leg and kicking the podium off the stage causing everyone to flinch.

Out of the corner of his eye, Kane could see movement in the shadows, they were summoning their shadow demons. "Vincent, please calm down.."

"My King, what is going on?" The alpha of the territory questioned them after taking wary steps towards them.

"Where is my mate!?" Vincent roared while jumping down from the stage.

Kane quickly followed Vincent and put a gentle hand on his chest, stopping him from stepping closer to the alpha. "Alpha Perkins, my sons mate is missing."

"Okay well how about we all calm down before.." Alpha Perkins began.

"How about you get the fuck out of my face." Vincent snarled at the man, cutting him off mid-sentence.

"Alright, that's enough." Kane started to pull Vincent away before anything could happen.

Vincent gripped onto his fathers' collar while pulling him closer. "I can't feel him, dad. I can't mindlink him. I feel empty, dad. Please.." Vincent begged.

"Okay, baby. It's okay." Kane reassured him. "I already have guards posted around the building in case anyone tries to leave and some are searching the building." Kane explained. "You have to try to calm down. You're awakening your shadow demons."

A very faint scent hit Vincents' nose causing him to straighten his posture. He whipped his head around and his eyes immediately landed on a man who looked to be a part of their security. Vincent blinked in front of the man, startling him before grabbing the man by his throat. Vincent inhaled deeply and let out a sinister growl. "Why is my mates scent on you?" Vincent snarled while gripping the mans wrist and lifting his hand and taking in another deep inhale. "You touched my mate?" Vincent growled.

"Listen.." The man began but was cut off by his own loud scream.

Vincent had snapped the mans wrist without a second thought. Vincent grabbed the man by his shoulder and dug his claws into his shoulder while pulling him up on stage. "I'm going to make an example out of you." Vincent snarled in the mans ear.

Kane let out a heavy sigh while standing behind his son, showing everyone in the room that he will back up his son. Kane could only feel one emotion coming from Goliath, he was completely proud of his pup.

Todd took this opportunity to hop up on the stage with a giant grin, Lanceston wanting to get his paws dirty. He squatted next to the man in Vincents' grip. "You fucked up big time, huh?" Todd chuckled while looking out towards the crowd of people, some looked terrified while others seemed curious.

Vincent looked down at the two with a glare before leaning over and speaking. "Where is he?"

"Fuck you." The man spat at him.

Vincent growled out before reaching his other hand forward, ready to drag his claws across his face, marking him as an enemy to the kingdom. Before anything could happen, Vincent heard his cry for help. *Vin! Help me!*

Vincent immediately blinked to Lennon and a rage roared through his veins at the sight before him. "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH WHAT IS MINE!" Vincent roared while throwing Oliver across the room.

Kane blinked to Vincent just in time to see him hovering over Oliver with his hands wrapped tightly around Olivers neck. "Vincent!" Kane wrapped his arms around Vincents' chest, pulling him up off of Oliver. "You can't do this."

"I'll fucking kill him!" Vincent roared while trying to reach for Oliver who was currently coughing, trying to catch his breath. "I'll rip him limb from limb!"

"Not here!" Kane commanded which caused Vincent to roar. "I'm not going to stop you from killing him but you can't here, baby." Kane explained. "You don't want Lennon to see this part of you."

Vincent immediately snapped his head towards Lennon who was weakly trying to raise his hand with tears flowing down his face. Vincent ripped away from his fathers arms and took quick steps towards Lennon while shrugging out of his jacket. Vincent held Lennon in his arms while putting his jacket on him, covering his bare torso. "You're okay, baby." Vincent mumbled while placing a soft but long kiss to Lennons' forehead. "You're safe." Vincent pulled back only to see more tears flow from Lennons' eyes.

"P-please do-n't leave m-me.." Lennon managed to stutter out, still feeling the effect from the medicine.

"I'm not going anywhere. You're not leaving my sight." Vincent reassured him. Lennon let out a small whimper while trying to nuzzle his nose in Vincents' neck. Vincent quickly pulled Lennon closer, allowing him to do so. "It's okay, baby."

"Vin.." Kane squatted in front of him while pointing to his eyes. "Your phoenix is still present.."

Vincent blinked his eyes a couple of times but by the worried look on his fathers eyes, they were still white. "He won't be satisfied or relaxed until those two are dead." Vincent shrugged while focusing back on Lennon.

"Okay." Kane nodded his head. "Lets get you two back home. I'l get some guards to arrest them."

"My shadow demons have them." Vincent mumbled and then buried his face in Lennons' neck, inhaling his scent, trying to help calm down his beasts.

Kane looked over at Oliver and sure enough, there was a shadowy hand wrapped around Olivers ankle.

*Only Lennon can stop them..* Goliath piped up. *It was hard enough when he last summoned them.*

*I know..* Kane let out a heavy sigh before looking back at Vincent. "The ballroom was cleared out. Trixie and Issy are waiting in the car for us, along with the rest of them."

Vincent quickly grabbed Lennons' discarded clothes and helped dress him before picking him up and carrying him towards the door. "We're going home, baby." Vincent whispered in Lennons' ear.
