Part Two: Ch. 28
"Ava!" Dash whispered, yelled while gently knocking on her bedroom window. "It's me, baby.. open up."
"Dash?" Ava frowned while opening her window. "What are you doing here?"
Dash didn't waste a second before climbing into her room. "We need to leave now. Pack your things."
"Wait what?" Ava asked, confused while she watched Dash grab handfuls of her clothes, throwing them on the bed. "What's going on?"
"We're leaving." Dash vaguely answered while searching her closet for suitcases.
"Why? What is happening?" Ava stressed. She quickly stepped towards Dash and wrapped her arms around him. "Talk to me, please!"
Dash took in a deep breath before turning around and facing Ava. "Sebastian lied. He doesn't just want Isabel or whatever her name is. He wants Kane and Gabriels' kingdoms."
"So what does that mean for us? Why do we have to leave?" Ava frowned up at him.
"Because he plans on going straight to the school, he plans on getting to Kane and Gabriel through their kids. He doesn't give a shit about us, not that I expected him too. I overheard him talking to some of his men.." Dash cupped Avas' cheeks. "We have to leave."
"We have to warn them.." Ava argued and cupped his cheek.
Dash jerked his head back. "Ava, I've been banished. I would be killed on the spot if they found me on the territory."
Ava was about to respond but a deep voice sounding from the window had Dash pulling Ava behind him in a protective stance.
"If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you the first time you stepped foot back here." Kane mumbled casually. "I'm not climbing through this window. I'm too old for that shit." Kane didn't wait for a response before blinking into Avas' room causing a little squeal to leave her lips.
"Kane.. I can explain.." Dash began but Kane held up his hand, silencing him.
"Do you know why I wanted you to train with my men?" Kane asked. "Because you have an eye for details. You can spot shit that none of my men can. You are by far one of the smartest men I've ever met." Kane confessed with a shrug. "I mean besides thinking a little spell could hide you from me while you're inside my borders."
Dash nor Ava said anything. They kept quiet while they watched the man in front of them.
Kane let out a heavy sigh. "I didn't want to banish or exile you, whatever. If I let you stay even after all that shit with Terrance.. Jake was going to kill you. I couldn't have that. So the only way to keep you from being slaughtered was to force you out. It was a very shitty thing for me to do but it was the only solution I could come up with. I could have commanded Jake to not touch you but he's a Knight of Hell, he doesn't have to listen to a word I say and I had a feeling since it involved Terrance, he would have gone against the command." Kane confessed.
"I don't blame you for any of that, Kane.." Dash responded.
"Then why are you working with Sebastian?" Kane raised an accusing eyebrow at him.
"We can explain!" Ava blurted out while quickly stepping forward. Fear rolled off her in suffocating waves.
Kane just laughed while walking back towards the window. "I'm not going to hurt either of you, relax. You'll both meet me in my office before lunch.. say.. 10:30 ish.." Kane questioned them. "If you don't show up.. I *will* hunt you both down. I'm not fucking around when it comes to my family. Understood?" Kane looked back at the duo.
"We'll be there." Ava reassured. "I swear to it."
Kane didn't say anything, he just gave a slight nod of his head and blinked away.
"Oh, fuck me." Dash breathed out heavily while leaning over and placing his hands on his knees. "My ass is fucking grass and that man is going to mow me the fuck over."
"Relax.." Ava rubbed his back. "It'll be okay."
Dash just sat down on the bed while nodding his head slowly. "I hope so.. I fucking hope so."

The next morning Kane sat patiently in his office. It was just past 10:30 and he was really hoping that they showed up. He wanted to give them a chance to explain what the hell was going on.
"BB?" Theodore questioned while entering their office.
"I asked you to be here at 10.." Kane frowned.
"You try juggling a very needy newborn and an equally needy mate who's only thoughts in the morning are to bone." Theodore frowned back at him.
"Jesus.." Kane sighed while rubbing his head. "Just sit down already."
Theodore snorted and made his way over towards his desk. "So what's the word hummingbird?"
"Please stop, Theo.. Just please.." Kane sighed heavily.
"Okay, okay. I'll get serious." Theodore sat up while straightening his back.
A small and very timid knock sounded from the door, getting their attention.
"Come in." Kane grounded out.
Ava walked in a bit timid. She was pulling a very reluctant Dash in behind her. "Sorry if we're late.."
Theodores' eyebrows shot up while he glanced over at Kane. Kane just shook his head at him.
"Sit." Kane commanded, motioning towards the two chairs in front of his desk. "Let us not waste each others time, agreed?"
Dash nodded his head. "Sebastian.."
"Wants my daughter. I already know that." Kane growled. "Tell me something I don't know."
"He doesn't want her like what you think. He knows she's a demon and can only reproduce with her mate.. He plans on attacking the school.. He plans to get to your kids to get to you." Dash told him. "He wants your kingdom. Yours and this one."
"He wants Hell?" Theodore laughed. "Good luck with that one. There's a reason Kane is *the* Eternal King."
"I know that, he knows that." Dash answered. "That's why he plans to use your kids to get what he wants."
"When?" Kane questioned while staring down Dash.
"I honestly don't know.. I mean it could be any day.." Dash answered truthfully.
"Sooo... How do you know all of this?" Theodore asked with a heavy scowl.
"I was going to help him get into the territory.." Dash whispered.
"Through your mate?" Kane snorted.
"Is this because of Jake and Terrance?" Theodore asked but quickly shook his head. "Of fucking course it is."
"I'm confused.. I thought you were doing this to get something of importance back?" Ava questioned Dash.
"She doesn't know?" Theodore asked with an amused smile on his face.
Dash sent him a warning glare before quickly turning to Ava. "I was training for a position and I lost it all because someone didn't like me being near another person and they challenged me. It was a bloody battle and we were both fucked up pretty badly. Kane here separated us before that person could burn me alive. I'm not family so of course it was all my fault."
"Does Sebastian know you're here?" Kane required, ignoring Dashes story.
Dash shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine."
Kane rubbed his hands over his face. "Alright, you'll both be staying in the upstairs wing. You'll report any message or any information directly to me or Gabriel. I will fill him in on all of this.." Kane explained.
"What about me?" Theodore pouted.
Kane growled his annoyance while shaking off Theodore with his hand. "Show them to one of the rooms upstairs."
"Yes, master." Theodore rolled his eyes but did as he was told. Kane watched as Theodore led them out of the room.
*The second Terrance or Jake get wind of this..* Goliath began.
*If either of them have a problem with this, they will learn their place real fucking quick.* Kane growled out.
*Are you okay with the fact that Dash was plotting against us? That he was using his own mate to get in here?* Goliath questioned.
*It was my fault, Goliath. If I hadn't kicked him out, he wouldn't have lost everything.. Honestly, I would have probably done the same thing if I was in his shoes.* Kane let out another heavy sigh.
*Okay, fine. We give him a chance to redeem himself then?* Goliath asked.
*I guess.* Kane shrugged.
*If he or his mate harms our pups in any way shape or form. I'll kill them both.* Goliath snarled.
*I couldn't agree more.* Kane replied.
