Part Two: Ch. 6

"Pleeeeease Lenny!" Vincent whined.

"It's Lennon." He frowned.

Vincent threw his hand up in the air dramatically. "First I can't call you baby and now I can't even call you Lenny?" Vincent huffed, completely annoyed. "Why not?"

"Because my name is Lennon?" Lennon asked, a bit confused.

"Well yeah but doesn't anyone call you by a nickname? My friends and family call me Vin or Vinny, my dad calls me baby and my mother gives me all of those mushy names." Vincent answered with a small smile. "I love your name but nicknames are cute and it's another way to show affection without having to be physical.."

"My parents give me nicknames but I don't have anyone else so I'm not used to it." Lennon shrugged and turned to walk away.

"Wait!" Vincent hurried after him, dropping the whole nickname topic. "Where are you going?"

"I told you I have to go straight home." Lennon frowned.

"Fine." Vincent started walking with him. "I'll walk you home."

"You don't.." Lennon was cut off by Vincent grabbing and holding his hand.

"You won't come home with me to hang out and you won't let me drive you home so I'm walking you home." Vincent stated, leaving no room for argument.

Lennon just looked forward and slightly glared but didn't argue or refuse which made Vincent and Axe very happy campers.

*It hasn't even been half a day and he's already warming up to your annoying ass.* Axe smiled.

Vincent rolled his eyes. *You're the one who is always begging me to stalk him.*

*I do not!* Axe gasped. *I just want to know what he's always doing.. constantly..* Axe mumbled.

*Exactly.* Vincent snickered.

"This is it." Lennon whispered, pulling Vincent out of his conversation with Axe.

Vincent raised his eyebrows and turned to look behind him, only to see they walked maybe two blocks from the school. Vincent understood why he refused a ride home now so he smiled down at Lennon and started walking towards his front door.

"What are you doing?!" Lennon whispered yelled, grabbing onto Vincents' arm with both hands.

"Going to meet your parents?" Vincent frowned but quickly replaced it with a smile.

"No.. no.." Lennon pulled Vincent back.

"No?" Vincent stared at Lennon a little shocked. "Why not?"

*He's embarrassed by us..* Axe whimpered.

*Don't jump to conclusions.* Vincent calmly replied, one of them had to try and be the voice of reason, even if Vincent was a bit worried as well.

"I.. I don't know how my parents will take the news.. I'm their only child, their baby.. and now.. I have a mate.." Lennon whispered.

Vincent heard Axe let out a sigh of relief. "It will be okay, I promise." Vincent gave Lennons' hand a reassuring squeeze and a gentle smile.

Lennon stood there for a minute, thinking about it but eventually agreed. "Okay.." Lennon nodded his head and let Vincent lead him up to his front door.

Lennon walked through the front door with Vincent right behind him. Lennon was busy taking his jacket off when Vincent heard a pair of feet walking their way from what he assumed was the living room.

"Len, is that you, sweetie?" Asked a small but sweet voice.

*I'm nervous.. what if they hate us?* Axe murmured.

Vincent rolled his eyes. *So what if they do? They will get over it. Lennon is ours.* Vincent frowned. *Since when do you care about how others feel or think about us?*

*They are our mates parents.* Axe huffed, annoyed. *You should care as well.* Vincent didn't have time to argue when a womans voice brought him from his thoughts.

"Len..? Oh, hello? Who's your friend, sweetie?" The same sweet voice asked.

"Mom, dad, this is Vincent." Lennon smiled. "Vincent this is my parents..." Before Lennon could introduce them, his mother stepped forward.

"My name is Lily. This is my mate and husband, Set." Lily introduced themselves.

"It's nice to meet you." Vincent smiled and shook her hand. Vincent reached his hand towards Set but dropped it once he realized the man wasn't going to make an effort to return the gesture.

*Fucking dick..* Axe growled, not liking the disrespect.

Vincent stared at the man named Set. Vincent noticed where Lennon got his looks from, the grey hair, the ice blue eyes. Sets' eyes really stood out against his mocha colored skin. Lennon wasn't beefed up like his father though, Lennon was more lean and defined, short of athletic. Lennon was about an entire foot shorter than Vincent, which he didn't mind. Vincent didn't realize he was still staring at the man until his deep, stern voice cut through his thoughts.

"Got a staring problem, kid?" Set questioned but Vincent heard the low snarl, making him raise an eyebrow at him.

*Holy shit! It's Darth Vader. Get his autograph!* Axe laughed.

*Shut up!* Vincent growled back at his beast.

"Dad!" Lennon whispered, yelled. "Don't be rude!"

"Rude?" Set snorted. "He was staring at me."

"I was just seeing where my mate got all of his features from." Vincent shrugged.

Lily gasped with excitement. "Oh this is wonderful news!" She clapped happily, making Lennon blush.

Vincent smiled down at her, finally noticing how she had one green eye and one brown.

*That's where mate gets it from.* Axe concluded.

Vincent just rolled his eyes at him. *No shit, dumbass.*

*I'll kill you!* Axe snarled, clawing at him in their mind.

*Good luck.* Vincent chuckled while tuning Axe out as he started on a cursing rampage.

Set didn't share Lilys' excitement. His jaw ticked and his eyes glinted hard at Vincent.

Ignoring the man in front of him, Vincent looked towards Lennon and Lily. "I would like to invite you guys to dinner tonight."

"That would be lovely!" Lily chirped.

"No." Set answered, making Lily frown at him. She reached up and smacked his shoulder.

"Why are you acting like this?" She tried to whisper to him.

"You can't reject this invitation." Vincent let a small smirk play at his lips.

"Sure I can." Set scoffed.

"Dad, stop it." Lennons' cheeks were dark red from embarrassment.

"Let me properly introduce myself." Vincent cleared his throat slightly. "My name is Vincent Axe Hell, Prince of Hell. The son of Kane Goliath Hell, King of Hell." Vincents' voice was deep, filled with authority. "Declining this invitation would be a direct insult to the royal family."

Sets' entire face fell and eyes widened for only a split second before he regained his composure.

"We would never!" Lily squeaked. "We would love to join you and your family for dinner!" Lily smiled sweetly at Vincent. "Won't we, hunny?" Lily sent sharp daggers towards Set.

Set gritted his teeth and sent Vincent one final glare before he turned to his mate with a softer look. "Of course, baby. I'm sorry for behaving in such a way."

Lennon smiled up at his father and turned to look at Vincent with the same smile. Vincent, of course returned the smile.

"Come over around five? My mother and father would love to chat and get to know their sons future in-laws." Vincent smirked but received a death glare from Set.

"We will be there." Lily smiled reassuringly.

*I don't want to say bye to mate!* Axe whined.

"Lennon, would you please come with me?" Vincent turned his attention to his mate.

"I.." Lennon frowned but got interrupted.

"Lennon, go and spend time Vincent. You two need to get to know each other better." Lily answered and encouraged.

*YES!* Axe nearly screamed. *Mother Lily for the win!*

Vincent winced at the loud voice bouncing off the walls in his mind.

Lennon frowned at his mother but didn't argue. "I have homework." Lennon told Vincent while picking up his school bag.

"I can help." Vincent chirped excitedly. "It was a pleasure to meet you Mr. and Mrs.." Vincents' eyes widened, realizing he doesn't know their last name.

"Nile." Lily answered.

Vincent frowned at this, he shot a quick glance to Set. "Well, it was nice meeting you Mr. and Mrs. Nile.. We will see you in a little while." Vincent bowed his head slightly and reached for Lennons hand.

Once they were both heading back towards the school to get in Vincents truck, Lennon finally spoke. "You're so annoying."

Vincent chuckled. "If you really didn't want to come with me, you could have said no."

Lennon narrowed his eyes at him but a smile soon followed after. "You are still an annoying man."

A wide smile graced Vincents' face. He reached over for Lennons' hand and brought his knuckles towards his lips. He placed a soft kiss while whispering. "I'm your annoying man."

Lennon blushed but didn't pull away. The car ride to the castle was peacefully quiet until Vincent pulled into the driveway.

"Oh, Lennon?" Vincent gave a soft smile.

Lennon was still staring at the castle in awe when Vincent sought his attention.

"What?" Lennon whispered while still staring at the castle.

"My mother doesn't know about you.." Vincent hurriedly explained when he saw the hurt look in his eyes when he turned to face him. "I told my dad about you and us meeting but my mother wasn't there at the time and then something happened with my 'friends' last night. When breakfast rolled around, the mood and atmosphere was still weird and so I just didn't get the chance.." Vincent relaxed once Lennon nodded his head in understanding. "So I'm telling you this because she will react like a little kid in a candy shop." Vincent let out a small chuckle.

"Well.. I can't wait." Lennon smiled and looked up at him.

Vincent smiled back and nodded towards the front door. "Lets' go."
