Chapter Thirty-two

"Stop pouting." Gabriel said with an annoyed expression.

"StOp PoUtInG." Kane replied in a mocking tone.

"How old are you? Three?" Gabriel huffed out, completely annoyed.

"My mate and I, mated and I marked her. My mate finally shifts which took over twenty-four hours and was followed by her being asleep for three days. She just woke up this morning and yet, I'm here in this office waiting for some worthless meeting all because someone has been requesting to meet with me for the past week?" Kane said in a bored tone.

"It's not a worthless meeting. It involves.." Gabriel went to explain but Kane didn't give him the chance.

"I don't care. My number one priority is my mate and the only reason I'm here and not in bed with my mate is because she made me come here with you." Kane growled out.

"You're impossible to talk to sometimes." Gabriel growled back.

"I'm the King of Hell. I do whatever and act however I want." Kane added with a shrug, leaning back in his chair.

"Sure. Let's see how long that attitude lasts when I tell Trixie what you said.." Theodore spoke up with a smug smile, he managed to stay quiet, enjoying watching two grown men pout and argue back and forth.

"Whatever." Kane mumbled back with a roll of his eyes.

Nobody said anything else. It was only quiet for a few minutes before Miles knocked on the door. Miles entered the office with a petite figure following behind him. "My kings, prince.." Miles nodded his head towards the three men. "This is Mary, future luna of the Full Moon Pack." Miles motioned for Mary to take a seat. Miles took his seat next to his kings.

Kane raised an eyebrow. "Future luna?"

"Y-yes s-sir.. I'm M-maxs mate.." Mary spoke quietly. She was beyond terrified of Kane.

Kane rolled his eyes and let out a frustrated sigh. "Seriously, Gabriel? This is why you took me away from my mate?"

"I didn't.." Gabriel was again interrupted.

"Listen, I don't give a fuck about that *mutt.* If I wanted him dead, he would be dead. Ms. Mary, I respect your reasoning for coming here, you want to make sure I don't slaughter your mate. The only reason I won't is because of Trixie. She would be upset with me if I just went about murdering people, even if they deserve it. I don't want her upset with me. So your worthless mate..." Kane ranted off.

Theodore stopped him though. "Wait, you're his mate? You do realize he tried to come in between Kane and Trixie because he loves her and wants her, right?" Theodore wasn't one for prying but this seemed juicy.

"Yes.." Mary sighed.. "He told me everything. He found me that morning he led Trixie to see your office. My father and I are new to Full Moon, just moved in the night before the accident and that's why we haven't found each other yet. But he told me how he cared for her and tried his best to protect her and even admitted he had fallen in love with her over the years. But I knew the mate bond had already demolished a lot of that love the second he saw me. We're the missing half of each others souls so I knew whatever feelings he held for Trixie would go away. I didn't expect him to still try and separate you two. He just changed his mind on running away with her. I guess as long as she was safe and away from you, he didn't care." Mary knew being so bold with Kane might be dangerous but she had to be strong for Max. What she didn't expect was the loud laughter that came from Kane.

"I. Do. Not. Care. Keep your *mutt* away from Trixie and two can live happily ever after." Kane growled out.

"Yes s-sir." Mary lowered her head in submission.

"Good. We're done here." Kane stood up and headed for the door but quickly turned to look at Gabriel. "From now on, *noone* and I mean *NOONE* is to bother me before 10am. I will not be a part of any meetings before then, I will not answer calls or mind links. I will be in my office from 10am to 5pm. Of course if it's a dire emergency then I will respond but small stupid shit like this, I don't give a shit. Start scheduling meetings after 10am. If they have a problem with that, tell them to go fuck themselves because we don't answer to nobody Gabriel." And with that, Kane turned on his feet and left the room, not giving Gabriel a chance to argue. Theodore smirked and followed after.

"Are you sure you want to be his assistant?" Gabriel gave a small chuckle and looked over at Miles.

"O-of co-course." Miles gave a small smile in return. "Y-you forgot to m-mentioned their parents arr-arrival?"

"I didn't. They wanted to surprise them and their mates." Gabriel shrugged it off.

"Ruthless!" Theodore grinned from ear to ear. "Why 10am?"

"I have a mate now. We both have mates and we both need time with them. I'm sure Gabriel will take advantage of that as well." Kane responded with a small shrug.

"Mates." Theodore smiled to himself. "I can't believe we both have mates. We can finally be happy and start our families!" Theodore started chirping away.

"In order to start a family, you have to mate and mark Tatum, Theo." Kane said in a teasing tone, making Theodoroe blush.

"You know why I didn't at first.."Theodore began. "Now I'm just waiting for the right time.."

"Or maybe next time when Tatum jumps your bones, you don't stop him?" Kane shrugged and the two walked into their wing and gaped at what they saw.

There were burn marks all over the walls and floors. The couch and one recliner were just piles of ash. Jake was huddled up in the corner with Terrance in between him and a pissed off looking Trixie.

Trixie looked like some wild banshee. Her eyes were the smokey black of her phoenix, her wings were spread out wide from one end of the living room to the other. She had black canines and black claws extended. She looked ready to kill.

Kane immediately tried to run towards Trixie but stopped dead in his tracks when Trixie let out a threatening growl.

"Don't you fucking come near me." Trixie hissed at him with hatred.

Kane was taken back a bit but Goliath didn't let that stop him. Goliath may love and cherish his mate but he won't let her act like a mad woman when they didn't do anything wrong.

"Watch your tone with us, mate." Goliath growled out.

"My tone?" Trixie sneered. "How about you go fuck yourself or better yet, how about whatever woman was just now in your office!"

Goliath went still. *What is she talking about? We weren't even in our office?* Kane and Goliath were completely dumb founded. Jake however took this as his chance to escape and ran out the door.

"Trixie, sissy. Kane hasn't been in the office since before you two mated.. We were in the conference room with Gabriel and Maxs mate, Mary. We never stepped foot in our office." Theodre was quick to explain.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" Trixie screamed at the top of her lungs. "I went to see you and I smelled you in there! I smelled another woman in there! I heard both of your giggles and chuckles! Don't fucking lie to me!" The entire time Trixie was screaming, black fire was rolling off her wings.

"Baby, you need to calm down. We have no idea what yo.." Kane was interrupted by a fireball being thrown at him. When it touched him, it only stung a little. It didn't leave a mark.

Kane just stared down at his shirt with shock, it now had a burn whole in it. When he looked back up at Trixie, he noticed the small tears running down her face.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry! I d-didn't me-mean t-too!" Trixie hiccupped. She dropped to the floor and cocooned herself in her wings.

"Baby.." Kane walked over to her and laid himself down next to her. He managed to pull her wings away from her and pulled her flush against his chest. Trixies wings instinctively wrapped back around her with Kane as well.

"D-do.. yo-you n-not.. l-love m-m-me.. an-anymore?" Trixie managed to whisper out in between her hiccups.

"Of course I do! You're my entire world, baby! Goliath and I are just confused on what's going on." Kane let out a heavy sigh. Trixie just nuzzled her face into Kanes chest, holding onto him tighter.

Being wrapped up in Trixies wings, Kane couldn't see anyone standing around them but he knew Terrance and Theodore were still there.

"We could probably explain what happened.." An all too familiar voice spoke from the front doors of their wing.
