Chapter Thirty-eight

"Baby, wake up.." Goliath whispered, placing gentle little kisses all over Trixies face.

"Nope... Mhm... No.." Trixie protested while rubbing her face against his arm that she was using as a pillow.

"Come on, baby." Goliath chuckled. "We have things to discuss, my love."

"Fine but I want waffles and chiccy nuggies." Trixie groaned, looking into Goliaths eyes. "Heeyy you, you're still here!" Trixie smiled.

"Of course. I'm spending time with my baby today." Goliath placed a passionate kiss on her lips while gently climbing on top of her.

"What about the Red Wood survivors? Shouldn't we check on them?" Trixie finally asked when Goliath switched to assaulting her neck and chest with kisses.

"Mmm." Was his response. Trixie didn't bother to ask anymore questions. Goliath kept up his assault, leaving hickies everywhere he could.

Trixie could feel how excited he was getting and had to fight the urge not to grind on him.

*We have to go speak to Max..* Kane whispered in their mind.

*No.* Goliath growled back.

*We have too. He's going to be released home from the hospital, I mean he's still fucked up but we need to make sure he knows his place.* Kane argued back. With an internal eye roll and groan, Goliath looked up to his mate and couldn't help but smile.

"I have to go for a little bit, sugar." Goliath whispers. Noticing Trixie started to frown and pout. "Max is going home soon and Kane and I need to speak with him first."

"I thought we had things to discuss first?" Trixie added with another frown.

"We will when I come back, I promise." Goliath gave a soft kiss to her temple and slowly pulled himself away from the bed and started to get dressed.

Trixies eyes never once left his perfectly sculpted body. She watched how all his muscles pulled and flexe tightly under his skin, she let her eyes wander to his perfect tight ass.

Goliath could feel her eyes wandering all over his body, he couldn't hide the smirk playing on his lips. *She wants us.*

*No shit, sherlock.* Kane rolled his eyes at him.

Goliath was buttoning his pants up when the sweetest smell hit his nostrils. "Baby.." Goliath growled.

Goliath looked at Trixie through the giant wall mirror and was met with Trixies lust filled eyes. She laid tangled up in their sheets, hair a mess, littered with his hickies. It didn't go unnoticed how she kept squeezing her thighs together.

Goliath just gave his signature smirk and turned around while buttoning up his shirt. "Theo said Tatum is making breakfast." Goliath took slow steps towards her in the bed and when he reached there, he took a deep inhale of her arousal and let out a low growl. He hovered over her, his lips barely brushing hers. Trixies breathing became heavy, her chest movements proof of that. "I'll be back soon, my love." Goliath pulled away quickly and left the room without another word, leaving Trixie in a daze.

*She'll get you back for that.* Kane snickered.

*I can't wait.*

To say my life has been completely miserable since I woke up from my medical induced coma, is an understatement. The only thing keeping me completely sane is my mate. I didn't expect to ever find her but I'm glad I did. She's been the best.

I saw the heartbreak in her eyes when I told her about Trixie and what I planned to do. I regret it. I shouldn't care about who she's mated too but at that moment I did. I was so caught up in what I thought I felt for her. The only good thing about this whole thing is that Mary has proved herself to me and I just hope I can prove to her what she means to me as well.

A soft knock brought him out of his thoughts. "Alpha Max.. you have a visitor.." Nurse Becca announced but before Max could respond, Goliath pushed the door open all the way and let himself in.

"M-mr. K-kane?" Max stuttered out.

"Leave." Goliath demanded through a growl, Mary hesitated before exiting the room behind nurse Becca.

"Mr. Kane." Max cleared his throat, trying to sound confident. "I didn't expect.."

"Shut the fuck up and listen." Goliath growled. "I'm not Kane."

Maxs eyes widen like saucers. He went to speak but closed his mouth, remembering he told him to listen.

"I'm only here to warn you. But first, you're going home in a few days and sooner than you think, you'll be back on your feet like I never even touched you. I'm going to allow your *mutt* to heal you properly. Only because you'll take over as *alpha* and I don't have the time to run your pack while you recover." Goliath paused and looked at the shocked expression on his face. "Now, if I had it my way, you would be getting skulled fucked along with that whore Ashley in hell but fortunately for you, I don't want to upset *MY* mate. So I'm only going to say this once, once only. If you come near her, I'll kill you. If you say one word to her, I'll kill you. If you take the smallest glance at her, I'll kill you. If you so much as fucking think about her, I'll fucking kill you. I will destroy everything you fucking love right infront of you, skin you alive, throw you into the forrest and let all of nature claim you." Goliath patted Maxs face a little rough and walked to the door. "Enjoy your life. Don't fuck up." Goliath left without another word.

Max didn't utter a word, he only smiled sweetly at his mate when she walked back in.

"Are you okay?" Mary asked.

"Couldn't be better, baby."

"I hate this. I have to run around and help Gabriel get shit set up for the Red Wood survivors with you while Kane and Theo get to be all snuggled up with their mates, it's crap." William exhaled an angry breath.

"I'm hurt that you don't enjoy my company." Jake joked.

"Whatever. We could be looking for our mates but instead we're stuck going over building options and spaces for the new houses." William kept on his rant.

"I already found my mate.." Jake whispered with a hint of sorrow.

William snapped his head towards him. "What do you mean?"

"It was 100 years or so ago.. She was human. She was married and had three little ones running around. She had a happy life. I made sure of that." Jake gave a weak smile. "Her husband and her lived a long and happy life. I could have introduced myself and started the mate bond but what kind of man would I be if I did that? So I just watched her live from afar. I figured I would have died after her death but since we never met and the bond never got the chance to connect, I guess it kept me from passing as well. So I took time to accept it and move on and that's when I decided to come home. I didn't want to be without the people I love the most." Jake gave another smile and turned his attention back to the paperwork at hand.

"Wow. I don't know what to say.." William just looked at him with shock.

"Don't say anything.. ever. I don't want or need anyones pity or words. I only told you so you'll never bring up me finding my mate again." Jake kept his attention on their work. William only nodded in acceptance.

Both men kept silent while working, that was until Terrance made an appearance. "Where the hell have you guys been?" He asked in a mocking tone.

"I went into hiding because Trixie scared the living shit out of me the other day. I thought I was going to burn to death." Jake snorted.

"Right and then Red Wood was under attack so we stayed behind to help Kol get everything set up here for their return. Since then, we've been helping Gabriel with housing them." William finished.

"Well take a few minutes because I have someone I want you guys to meet." Terrance turned to reopen the office door.

Williams' entire world stood still as he watched the newcomer walk through the door. He noticed how his entire body tensed and when William raised his eyes, they were met with the most gorgeous hazel eyes he's ever seen.

"This is Reese. Reese this is, William and Jake." Terrance made the introductions.

Reese never once broke eye contact with William.

William went to stand up and was going to make his way over to him but before he could even fully push his chair back, Reese was slamming him up against the wall.

"Mine!" Reese let a deep growl vibrate from his chest while he shoved his nose in the crook of Williams neck.

Terrance and Jake stole a glance at each other and decided to leave the two alone.

William noticed the two leave and tried to push Reese back a little. "Reese.." William tried his best to hide the slight moan in his voice but Reese heard it and let out another growl.

Reese pushed himself closer to William and started licking and sucking on the spot where he would mark him. William couldn't contain the moans that left his lips.

Reese didn't hesitate for a second before sinking his canines into Williams neck, marking him.
