***The best place to be.***

"So what's next for you?" Terrance questioned Reese while watching Jake and William argue about something completely meaningless. "Start a family?"

"Eh, we're not wanting kids for a while.." Reese shrugged while sipping on his soda.

"You've always talked about starting a family.. You don't want that anymore?" Terrance frowned at his son.

"I do.. we both do but we're just enjoying our lives right now.." Reese smiled. "We're just waiting for our moment."

Terrance kept his frown but nodded his head either way. "I guess I can't argue with that."

"Relax, old man." Reese chuckled. "You'll have plenty of grandchildren in the future."

Terrance scoffed. "Old man? I'm still young and sexy as ever."

"Oh dear God.." Reese grunted. "Please don't, Dad."

Terrance let out a loud chuckle while standing to his feet. "Lets go, we're going to be late for our reservations." Terrance wrapped an arm around Reeses' shoulders and led them over to Jake and William.

"It's not fucking Baby Yoda! His name is Grogu!" Jake growled at William.

"You can call him fucking Steve for all I care. He's Baby Yoda." William shrugged.

Jakes' eye slightly twitched while staring down William. "I'm going to kill you."

"Nah.." William chuckled.

"Are you two done?" Terrance glared at them both. "We're going to be late."

"It'll never be done." Jake glared at William while wrapping an arm around Terrances' waist.

"Okay, crazy." Terrance laughed while pulling Jake towards the door.

"Reese loves Baby Yoda, thinks he's just the cutest little green monster ever." William grinned. "Don't you, babe?"

"IT'S GROGU!" Jake roared.

"Okay, that's enough.." Reese chastised. "I don't want to hear you two arguing all night."

"Nah, we're cool." William joked while slapping the back of Jakes' shoulder.

"Yeah.. I don't hate him anymore." Jake glared at William.

William and Terrance both rolled their eyes while Reese snorted.

"Babe, it was a very long time ago.." Terrance mumbled while gently kissing Jakes' cheek. "Relax."

"I know." Jake gave him a reassuring smile. "William just knows how to get under my skin. That's all."

"Yeah buddy!" William cheered.

"What's the plan after dinner?" Reese questioned.

"Emily and the twins are coming over since they leave tomorrow morning." Jake began.

"So you'll be coming back home with us so you can spend time with your sister before they take off." Terrance finished.

"Of course." Reese agreed.

"Take off?" William questioned.

"They want to travel.." Terrance frowned while glancing at Jake, whose eyes had saddened dramatically.

"How long will they be gone?" William asked.

"However long they want." Jake whispered.

"So what made you guys want to travel?" William asked Emily, Emma and Ella. "I mean you just came back from a little vacation, yeah?"

Emma glared at Williams' lips before looking over at Ella. No matter how long and hard she tries to study reading lips, she can't seem to get the hang of it. Ella just snickered while signing to Emma what William asked.

"Ella and I have been through a lot.." Emma began. "We just want to get away for a while.." Ella nodded her head, agreeing with what Emma was saying.

"Our first stop is in Berlin." Emily piped up. "They have a cousin who moved there to be with his mate." Emily explained.

"Are you sure it's safe?" Reese asked. "I mean, three girls traveling alone?" Reese stressed.

"Two are dragons, Reese." Terrance chuckled. "Plus Emily will call us everyday."

"Dad.." Emily gave him a stern look.

"There is no room for arguments, Emily Rose." Jake warned.

"Whatever." Emily rolled her eyes with a soft smile.

Emma was watching Ella sign to her and chuckled at that last part. "We'll be safe, don't worry."

"It's hard not to worry about my baby!" Jake pouted while folding his arms across his chest. "I'll always worry."

"Awe.. Dad.." Emily cooed while scooting closer to him and wrapping her arms around him. "I'll always be your baby."

"Like you had a choice." Jake snorted but grinned before wrapping her in a tight hug. "Just please be safe.." Jake whispered before placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Always." Emily reassured.

"Have you talked to Trixie yet?" Terrance questioned.

"Yeah, we just came from there. Isabella was very upset that I'm leaving." Emily explained.

"She'll be fine." Terrance reassured. "She has plenty of things to keep her occupied."

"I know but it was still hard seeing her so upset." Emily smiled sadly. "Anyways! What about you guys? Any big plans while we're away?"

"We're just going to keep doing us for a while." William smiled over at Reese. "No little ones for us, yet."

"I think I'm going to start working for Kane." Reese explained. "I feel like a lazy bum. Kane set me up at his company so we'll see."

"Well that's exciting!" Emily happily chirped.

"Eh, we'll see." Reese shrugged with a bashful smile.

Emily just tsk'd while rolling her eyes. "I'm proud of you big bro."

Reese grinned while getting up and pulling Emily into a hug. "If you ever need anything.. anything at all, call me, Em. Doesn't matter what time of day it is. I'll answer."

"I know." Emily smiled while tightening her hold on him. "I love you."

"I love you too, sis." Reese smiled.

"What do you guys want to play?" William questioned while skimming through the horde of board games. "Jesus, how many games do you need, Terrance?"

"All of them." Terrance shrugged. "I'm a bit old fashioned and a collector."

"I see that." William mumbled. "How have I never noticed all these?" "HOLY SHIT!" William nearly screamed.

"What?" Everyone seemed to ask simultaneously.

"You have the actual fucking Jumanji game?!?" William whipped around, excitement shining in his eyes. "Please, this one! Can we play this one!?"

"Calm down, crazy." Jake laughed. "I'm sure no one here is going to argue with you."

"You're such a nerd." Reese teased with a cheeky grin.

"It's your dad who owns the game, nerd." William joked back while plopping down next to Reese and giving him a quick kiss on the lips. "Now!" William cleared his throat. "I'm going to kick all of your asses!"

"Not today!" Emily shouted. "I'm the best at this one!" Emily gave her best war cry. Emma and Ella snickered while watching them.

"You two are ridiculous." Jake snorted while grabbing the elephant piece.

"Don't hate us cause you ain't us." Emily grinned when she saw Jake roll his eyes.

"Whatever." Jake chuckled.

"I love you, old man." Emily grinned.

"I love you too, baby girl." Jake smiled back.

"What about me?" Terrance gave his best fake pout. Emily and Jake both leaned over and placed a kiss on Terrances' cheeks.

"I love you too, Dad." Emily smiled while leaning her head on his shoulder.

"And you know very well that I love you too." Jake teased while poking his nose.

Emily watched as William and Reese set up the board game while Emma and Ella were in their own little world with each other. "So what are you two going to do while I'm away?" Emily questioned her fathers.

"Well first I'm going to take your father on a well deserved vacation." Jake grinned when he saw Terrances' eyes light up.

"Really? Where?!" Terrances asked with excitement.

"It's a surprise, babe." Jake chuckled while wrapping an arm around Terrance. "And after that, I'm not sure. We'll probably be here with all the crazies."

"The best place to be." Emily smiled at him.

Jake looked at Terrance with the softest smile. "The greatest."
