#Chapter 61: Deseption and the Need to Escape
It was almost too easy getting Ava into the hotel. Jacob had bought the rooms and rented the car the same day arrived to the human world. The less Jacob had to interact with the insects that were call human the better.
His wolf was getting restless knowing that his mate was somewhere out there. It did not help that Ava was shacking up with another male and an Alpha at that. But Jacob’s wolf was determine to bring out Ava’s wolf and bring sense back to her.
I can’t lie seeing those two pups when I walking in brought a little bit of happiness to my heart.
He pulled the restraints that he had kept in his travel bag to subdue his soon to be rejected mate. He had gotten the latches on the foot board attached and her feet secured. Jacob made no precautions to make sure that the restraints were not too tight.
He laid Ava across the bed and made sure that she was still unconscious. With all the trouble Ava had caused him, Jacob could care less. He looked over at the sleeping babes that were his own flesh and blood. He had two children a son and a daughter.
When Ava asked for his assistance with feeding them he put a sleeping aid in the babies milk. While he felt bad he did not want the transition between realms to unnerve them.
He heard Ava beginning to stir as he finished tying her wrist to the headboards. Her eyes fluttered open as she looked up to the ceiling and her eyes moved towards Jacob finishing the last latch.
He made it just in time to avoid Ava bearing her teeth and trying to snap Jacob’s throat.
“You bastard!” She screamed.
Jacob moved away from the bed and sat in the chair at the foot of the bed across directly in view of the pups and their mother.
“You tricked me! Was exerything you spud a bumch of lies!”
Jacob shrugged as he grabbed a bottled beer from the fridge and sliced the cap off with his claw.
“Depends. I am happy that I found you? Yes. Do I want to be a family; yes but not with you and your half breeds.” He took a swig of the drink and let his throat bob up and down as he swallow.
“I have every intention of stripping you of your title as LUNA and giving it to Alex. SHe deserves it more. I am also going to make sure those monsters do you keep my title as Alpha but my first born does.”
“You could have just left me here and asked me to resend my claim with you! I would have agreed to it.”
Jacob paused for a moment and pondered her claims. But he ignored them.
“There is something I have been meaning to ask you; why do you smell different?”
Ava looked at him with confusion, and she did not answer.
“I mean I know that you have been sleeping with the Alpha of the Harbingers. That would explain why you were not executed the moment he found out what were and that you traveled her without authorization. But you don’t smell like you use to…why?”
All Ava could do was laugh.
“Did you notice the spike in the energy in the nursery when you and Elijah were trying to have a pissing contest. While I was away here in the mortal realm I found a key piece of my lineage.”
Jacob leaned front, put his thumb on the mouth of the bottle, but he left a small opening. Without warning his lifted the bottle n the air and threw remains of beer and spit at Ava.
Ava did not flinch at his cruelty.
“And prey tell what are you talking about?”
“Does it matter,” Ava said.
Jacob stood up and went the to door that was behind him. It was from what Ava could tell an adjecent to the room that they were occupying.
“No you are right it does not matter. Because you are still a worthless half breed bitch that no one wants.” Jacob went to open the door and let the room door swing open to the inside.
He gabbed the diaper bag and set it next to the entrance on the opposite side. Jacob grabbed the car seats one in each hand and made his way to the next room.
“Where are you going with my babies?” Ava said frantically.
“Oh now I got a response. Looks like you make a great mother.” Jacob said smirking.
“I am putting you in this suite alone, and the babies and I will take the place next door. That way I don’t have to worry about you escaping or taking my kids away.”
“You don’t even want them!” She screamed hoping it would get someone’s attention.
Jacob chuckled as he went to the radio that on the mantle and turned it on. The sounds on guitar riffs and bass drums filled the room. He raised the volume up that way no one would hear Ava’s cries and pleas for help.
Jacob walked out of hte room and slammed the door shut. Ava heard to door lock click and she let out a loud scream. She knew that no one would hear her as Jacob explained but she wanted to get it all out that way she could focus.
She blow her hair out of her face and began to shift and move to weigh her options.
“Idiot. I am not half human. I am the daughter of an Alpha of one of the strongest packs in the realm. I am the daughter of one of the strongest witches that was ever commissioned by the lycan of our clan. I am a wolf and of a witch.” Ava sadi reassuring her confidence.
Ava could not lie that she was devastated by what was happening but she would not given Jacob the satisfaction in seeing her tears.
She did not know if it was minutes or hours when Jacob came back but he was no longer wearing the clothes he wore when he came to see her.
He was dressed in a muscle shirt that was loose fitted around him. He wore a pair of jogger that were loose around his waist but Ava saw no appeal to it.
“Well I got the kids all packed up. So the only thing left is to get you situated,” Jacob said as he went to the bathroom.
“And how are you going to do that asshole,” Ava said calling out to her ex.
However all of Ava zealous and courage quickly faded when she saw a syringe in Jacob’s hand. It did not take a genius to figure out what he was planning.
“What is that,” she said as she struggled against the restraints.
“Oh this,” Jacob said flicking his middle finger agaisnt the container hold the liquid. “This is somthing a little more effective nad longer lasting for the trip home.” Jacob smirked.
“And how you are going to explain dosing me up to the Enforcers,” Ava shouted.
Jacob grabbed a tissue and rubbed the wet material against the junction in her forearm and her bicep. He stabbed the needle in to her arm and released the fluid into her veins,
Ava tried to fight twisting and turning but unlike the medicine before she was out cold.
Jacob quickly unlock the restraints and and tossed her over his shoulder. He made his way to the vehicle that his buddy had gotten for him. He loaded all the passengers in the car and then the luggage. Someone that he had met before tracking down Ava had given him a map of undiscovered portals.
He would be able to make the trip to the pack lands before dawn. The medicine he gave the children ran out a long while ago but he could always give them milk Ava prepared and settle them to sleep.
It was Ava he did not trust. She was unpredictable. Everything about her from her new found confidence to her strange manifesting powers made Jacob wonder how much she had changed in the past few months.
He does not let the thought resonate with him as he starts the ignition and quickly makes the destination towards the deserted area.
Its good to have friends in opposing organizations.
