Chapter 103: The Strongest Comes to Challenge!
"Here they come! Everyone, stand up straight!" Adrian yelled, and the chatter died down as everyone lined up, waiting.
Soon enough, William and three others showed up.
"Where's Mr. White?" Adrian asked, looking confused.
"Who's this random guy?" Everyone stared at William, puzzled.
Daniel scanned the crowd and announced, "Listen up! Mr. White can't make it due to personal reasons!"
"What?"
"He's not coming?"
The crowd erupted in boos, their faces showing clear disappointment. They'd been looking forward to Luke for months, and now he wasn't coming?
"Mr. Wilson, what is going on here?" Adrian grumbled.
Daniel didn't argue, just shot a glare at Doris and Adam. This was their mess.
"The two deputy military masters found a new instructor to replace Luke! And they say he's even better! Let's welcome Instructor William!" Daniel said with a cold smile. He didn't believe in William and wanted to see him fail. He knew his subordinates were a tough crowd. They wouldn't be satisfied and might even challenge him on the spot, exposing him.
Hundreds of eyes turned to William.
"Mr. Wilson, you must be joking, right?" Adrian was about to laugh.
"Yeah! This has to be a joke!"
"Where did you find this guy? He's just a kid! To be our instructor?"
"Is this an insult? Can that scrawny body even beat any one of us?"
The scene was chaotic, and completely out of control. Their reaction was understandable. Seeing William as their instructor? It would be strange if this tough crowd didn't resist!
Adrian glanced at William. "Mr. Wilson, what’s going on? This can't be serious, right?"
Everyone found it unbelievable. Replacing Luke with someone else was already a letdown. Let alone William.
"Quiet down! He's your instructor now!" Daniel shouted. Then he turned to William. "Mr. Davis, introduce yourself! Otherwise, they won't respect you!"
William scanned the crowd. Even though they were about his age, in his eyes, they were just a bunch of kids.
William said, "Hello, I’m William Davis, your instructor."
After a long pause, Adrian exclaimed, "That's it? You should at least tell us your achievements and skills!"
"Yeah! We don't even know who you are! You're not qualified to be our instructor!"
"Get lost! Another amateur daring to instruct The Ravenous Wolf Legion?"
"We can't accept this disrespect! Get lost!"
They were members of The Ravenous Wolf Legion, proud of their heritage. How could they accept an amateur as their instructor? They all had their pride.
Daniel sneered. "Mr. Davis, you see? They don't respect you! You need to show some skills!"
"To earn our respect, beat the strongest among us!" The crowd shouted.
Adrian looked at William. "I'm the strongest here, beat me!"
Daniel smiled. As expected, this crowd would expose William.
William nodded. "Alright!"
"But you're not the strongest..." He then turned to Daniel. "You!"
Seeing William choose him, Daniel was surprised. Was he crazy?
Doris and Adam were also stunned. The trainees burst into laughter. Was he nuts? Directly challenging Daniel?
Daniel was close to being a Lord of Martial Arts! He had been at the Master of Martial Arts level for thirteen years! His combat prowess was well-known throughout the nine armies!
