William's face darkened as he scanned the crowd.
Jasmine noticed and chuckled. "William, you look so desperate trying to squeeze into our circle," she said.
William shot back, "No, Fiona, I'm just here to tell you to stop waiting. They're not coming! It's a total waste of time!"

"You don't know anything! The contracts are right here! The signing ceremony is even in the contract. They wouldn't dare not show up!"
