Chapter 274 Lord of Martial Arts Arrives!

"Dad, Mom, why are you cooking at home? Let's go out to eat! My treat tonight!"

Out of respect for Kieran and his wife, William didn't refuse.

The group laughed and chatted as they walked to the restaurant.

"Jasmine, look over there, isn't that William?" Cassidy suddenly spoke up.

They were on their way to deliver an important document when they spotted William at the street corner.

Jasmine followed her gaze and saw him. "I know those people. They seem to have some connection with his mother. They're his benefactors."

Cassidy understood immediately. "Oh, I see!"

Jasmine parked the car by the curb and watched for a moment. "See, William fits in better with regular folks. Look how well they get along. There's no awkwardness at all!"

Cassidy looked closely—William was laughing and chatting with Kieran's family, the atmosphere light and natural. This warmth was something she'd never seen in the Watson Mansion.

William had always been at odds with Jasmine and Eugene, always feeling stiff and uneasy in the mansion.

Cassidy nodded. "You're right! In your home, he always seemed out of place, like he was wearing the wrong clothes."

Jasmine shook her head. "It's all about the social circle. Education, upbringing, capability, status... these determine social levels. Forcing William to fit into our family—how could he ever adapt? He's destined for an ordinary life, not suited for high society. Look how well he gets along with these regular folks."

Especially seeing Jessica casually leaning into William, even linking arms with him, made Jasmine chuckle. "See? The kind of girl that suits William is like this. Maybe not extraordinary, but pretty and decent among regular people. She's good enough for him."

Cassidy agreed. "They do look well-matched. This is his real life."

Jasmine sighed. "Poor William. Trying to fit into my world must have been so humiliating. People need to find where they truly belong."

She smiled and started the car, driving away.

Inside the restaurant.

William chatted with Kieran and his wife about more details of his mother, while Jessica kept asking, "How is Hope Pharmaceutical doing now? How much control do you have? Does Fiona listen to you?"

William felt annoyed.

Jessica pouted. "William, what's the deal? You're such a big boss, and they don't let you manage a few companies? So stingy!"

Kieran and his wife quickly intervened. "Jessica, be quiet!"

William just smiled. "Sorry, but in a couple of days, I'll be leaving Watson Mansion."

All three were taken aback.

Jessica shook her head. "That can't be true! Are you kidding? Who would give up a mansion, sports cars, and a life of luxury?"

She didn't believe it at all.

Kieran and his wife, however, sincerely said, "William, if it's true, you're welcome to stay with us."

William smiled and agreed. "Sure, after I leave Watson Mansion, I'll come find you guys."

Jessica thought he was joking and eagerly offered him food. "Here, have some shrimp. I peeled it for you..."

Meanwhile, outside Jones Manor.

Under the night sky, several black SUVs slowly approached, their chrome accents gleaming, the convoy exuding an intimidating presence.

This time, the Central Coast Medical Institute was visiting again—led personally by Noah, accompanied by several top prodigies, with ten Martial Arts Masters as guards at the rear.

At the end of the convoy, a stretch limousine was surrounded by dozens of burly men in suits, wearing earpieces and sunglasses, their stern expressions forming a moving black wall.

The car door slowly opened, and a middle-aged man stepped out.

His presence was like a beast entering the city, his gaze sharp enough to crush the air. He radiated a bloodthirsty and domineering aura, causing those around him to instinctively step back.

Black Fist Joel—a legend in the martial arts world, a name that could make the entire Starlight City tremble.
