Chapter 152 The Person Who Should Have Been Invited Didn't Come
Eugene and the others looked at each other in confusion and asked, "Mr. Graves, there's no one else, just the four of us. Weren't there four invitations?"
Kurt's frown deepened. 'What's going on? I'm supposed to invite William and Eugene's family of three. Why does William not come?'

But Kurt turned around and scolded Ronan, "What are you doing? You didn't invite the right person but the wrong ones!"
Ronan lowered his head, almost in tears. "Mr. Graves, I'm sorry, it's my mistake."
Their conversation was clearly heard by Eugene and the others. They almost stumbled and fell to the ground. Didn't invite the right person? Did that mean they weren't the ones supposed to be invited at all? Wiping their cold sweat, they entered the restaurant.
Inside the restaurant, Hestia was still waiting. Her face hadn't fully healed, so she didn't want to appear in public. She had already organized her words to express her gratitude to William.
Hestia rushed up to speak but found that William hadn't come. "Where's Mr. Davis?"
Eugene and the others immediately greeted her, "Mrs. Graves."
Hestia said perfunctorily, "Hello, please come in."
Hestia directly bypassed them and asked Kurt, "What's going on? Where's Mr. Davis?"
Kurt helplessly said, "Ronan messed up, he didn't invite Mr. Davis."
Hestia was a bit angry. "Mr. Davis didn't come? Then what's the point of the dinner?"

Fiona replied, "Sure, no problem, Mr. Graves. We'll follow your arrangements."
Now they understood. Kurt's dinner wasn't meant for them. They were just extras. They knew who the real guest was. Kurt and Hestia's real target was the owner of Hope Pharmaceutical. But since no one knew where he was, they could only go through Fiona.
Seeing that the real guest William wasn't here, Kurt was naturally unhappy.
On the other side, Ronan personally found William and said apologetically, "Mr. Davis, I'm sorry, it was my mistake. Please come to the dinner. Mr. Graves can come to invite you personally if needed."
William waved his hand. "I'm not going. You can discuss anything with Fiona. She represents me."
Ronan nodded respectfully. "Understood."
After Ronan returned to the restaurant, he pulled Kurt aside and conveyed William's message.
This time, Kurt returned with a relaxed expression and a big smile.
Kurt said in a joyful tone, "Ms. Fisher, I'm sorry to keep you waiting. I'll punish myself with three drinks."
Without another word, Kurt drank three glasses as punishment.
