Chapter 69 The Big Shot Acts So Childish

In VIP Room No. 1 at the Elegance Club, there were over twenty people, all of them Delia's classmates.

At Starlight University, these folks were kind of a big deal.

A lot of them were seen as rising stars by the upper class, with bright futures ahead.

Right in the middle sat Delia and her best friend, Riley Moore.

Not only were they both stunning, but they were also top students from elite families.

The number of guys chasing after them was off the charts.

Among those guys, Harry Patterson and Ethan Robinson stood out.

Harry's family was in real estate, and his dad, Howard Patterson, was the second-biggest real estate mogul around.

Ethan's family was in transportation, which was pretty impressive too.

Plus, both of them were super popular with the girls at Starlight University.

All eyes in the room were on these four.

Harry and Ethan were chatting away, showing off their knowledge on just about everything, grabbing everyone's attention and envy.

Harry shared his big dreams, sneaking a glance at Delia. "After graduation, I'm aiming to join Rose Corporation."

Riley, holding Ethan's hand, looked proud. They were the school's power couple.

Riley said, "Ethan can't compare to you. We're planning to take over our parents' businesses and make them thrive. It's enough for us to have a place in Starlight City."

Ethan smiled and added, "Yeah, Harry's destined to make it big in Silverbrook City and even Sintros City. I can't compete with that."

After everyone finished praising Harry, the spotlight shifted to Delia.

"Delia, Harry's been after you for two years. Aren't you even a little moved?"

"Look at him! Great family, skills, looks, brains—he's got it all. You two are perfect for each other."

"Yeah, Delia. What's holding you back?"

Riley's friends were all trying to set Delia up with Harry.

Actually, tonight's party was thrown by Harry.

Harry looked at Delia, hopeful.

But Delia just smiled.

Since meeting William, Delia thought these so-called big shots at school were pretty childish.

Unlike her bold and passionate self with William, Delia was very cold at school.

Harry had tried many times, but Delia always turned him down.

Delia said, "Harry's great, but I like someone else."

The whole room went silent.

What? Delia liked someone else?

This news would rock Starlight University.

Riley and her friends were all shocked.

As Delia's best friends, they had no clue she liked someone.

Harry's eyes nearly popped out. 'Delia likes someone else? No way!'

Riley asked, confused, "Delia, are you joking? I know all the guys you hang out with. Who could you possibly like?"

Harry sighed in relief. "Yeah, Delia, you must be making this up, right? Don't use this as an excuse to turn me down."

But Delia just smiled. "I'm serious. And he's coming to pick me up soon."

Saying this, Delia made a call and asked, "William, where are you? Okay, I'll wait for you in the room."

Everyone was stunned. Was Delia for real?

Harry clenched his fists, his eyes red. He wanted to see who Delia liked.

Not long after, the door opened and William walked in.
