Fiona rolled her eyes. The Watson family was seriously gross.
She saw right through their act.

The Watson family started whispering among themselves.
Eugene stood his ground, "Mom, Dad, there's no way I'm getting a divorce. I don't care what Fiona's status is."
Jasmine chimed in, "Yeah, we should just bring Mom back."
Gordon scoffed. "Jasmine, did you see how cocky Fiona was? So what if she's with Hope Pharmaceutical? Big deal."
Craig cut in, "She has every right to be cocky."
They were stunned. "What?"
Craig explained, "Fiona didn't just join Hope Pharmaceutical by luck. Her being there means she's got some serious clout. She's got a big role at Hope Pharmaceutical."
Craig's words made everyone think.
He continued, "Don't you want to know who owns Hope Pharmaceutical? Don't you want to cash in on Hope Pharmaceutical's success?"
With that, Eugene and the others snapped out of it.
If Hope Pharmaceutical mass-produces these three new meds, Eugene figured the Starlight City pharma market would blow up, like, ten times bigger.
This was a goldmine.
If the Watson family could snag even a tiny piece of Hope Pharmaceutical's market, they'd be rolling in dough, way more than they ever had. But they'd need Fiona's help.

Eugene got it. "Dad, you mean we should use Fiona to get to know the owner of Hope Pharmaceutical?"
Craig nodded, "Exactly. Hope Pharmaceutical is huge. If we team up with them, your net worth could skyrocket."
"I bet Hope Pharmaceutical has more than just these three ancient prescriptions. They've probably got even more powerful ones."
Eugene's eyes lit up with ambition. He wasn't happy with the way things were and wanted to boost his net worth.

Megan cut to the chase, "Get it? Fiona is now the Watson family's golden goose."
Craig nodded, "Exactly. Not only can we not let Eugene divorce her, but we also need to bring her back home, take care of her, and keep her happy in every possible way!"

Fiona looked at Eugene and said, "Let's go, we're getting a divorce."
Craig quickly put on a smile and said, "Fiona, you can't get a divorce. Eugene was just mad; don't take it seriously."
Megan smiled too, "Yeah, Fiona, Eugene was worried sick when you didn't come back, so he mentioned divorce."
The Watson family all changed their tune and started being nice to Fiona.
Eugene realized, "Fiona, this is all my fault. I only mentioned divorce to scare you into coming back. I didn't mean it."
Jasmine hugged Fiona's arm. "Mom, Dad had no choice; he just wanted you to come back."
The Watson family echoed, "Yeah, we all want you back. We're always worried about you."
Seeing the Watson family like this, William sneered, "Actually, what you're worried about is Rose Corporation's investment, right?"
